[Completed] Installed "PimpMyRom", Messed with Navigation Bar Option, And now appears on home scr - XDA Assist

Installed "PimpMyRom", Messed with Navigation Bar Option, And now appears on home scr
This has been bugging me for days.
Pimp My ROM is a great tweak app, which also had the feature of enabling/disabling the navigation bar. However, I had messed with it, disabling then re-enabling, thinking "No biggie", when, on rebooting to recovery to flash another zip file, there it is, sitting on my home screen. the nav bar.
I tried flashing the rescue package, but some error would occur, regarding the init.d support, I guess? And even wiped my phone clean, and restored system apps and data through Titanium backup pro, not TWRP.
My phone's a Moto G2 (2014-titan), CM 6.0, latest stable. And I need help. Cause battery's now also depleting super fast, and apps keep crashing here and there.
*insert sympathetical smiley*

[Completed] [Q] Can't uninstall non-existing app nor reinstall it

So before I start telling my "story" I'd first like to warn you that this is really hard to explain for me so please don't be angry.
Yesterday I got myself a 32 GB Micro sdcard for my phone, previously I had a 8 GB one.
I had partitioned my old card so I could link apps to my sd card using Link2SD, so before using my new SD Card I first had to partition it.
After countless of hours I finally managed to partition it correctly with AParted. I had made a backup with CWM because I was told it would backup my 2nd partition aswell.
So I tried to use the advanced restore option in CWM to restore my apps that were linked. But this never worked.
This wasn't that big of a problem, the only thing I had to do is reinstall a couple of apps. Too bad for me my phone still thought the apps were there, while they WEREN'T.
Let's call these app "Ghost" apps to make it easy.
I found out that these "Ghost" apps could only be seen under the "apps" section under "storage". NO other app could see them.
When trying to reinstall a "Ghost" app via the play store or other sources my device said it has insufficient memory. For example I tried to reinstall soundcloud, but it said I had insufficient memory.
So I went to back to my apps and deleted the "Ghost" version of soundcloud. After I did this I was able to reinstall soundcloud. And this happened to all the apps.
Now here is where we meet our problem. I also linked the system apps GMail and Google Chrome to my old sd Card, so now they were "Ghosted" aswell.
But you can't uninstall system apps via the "apps" menu. This is where I got stuck, I literally tried almost EVERY system app remover/ file manager to try and remove the apps manually or via an app.
Now finally here is my question:
Is there any way for me to remove the "Ghost" Chrome and Gmail OR reinstall them via another way? I've searched on the internet for hours for a similar problem but couldn't find anyone.
I'm kind of new in the advanced Android world, but I do know a thing or two.
I hope you will be able to answer my Question!
Now here are some details:
Phone:
Samsung Xcover 2 (GT-S7710)
Rooted?:
Yes, my phone is rooted
Custom rom?:
No I'm running the stock version for now.
Ask me for more info if needed
Here are some screenshots from the "Ghost" apps:
Sorry I'm a new member, I can't post outside links. So I can't supply my screenshots via the forums for now
Hope this is enough information, Thanks in advance!
Please do Note I do not have GMail on my phone right now, so it might take me a bit longer to answer any questions or test possible solutions.

[Completed] [Q] Rooted, but can't delete bloatware

Hello, let me explain my situation
I am using Lenovo a850
I've rooted my phone, granted supersu access to root explorer, be file explorer, and a few of other apps and still, can't delete bloatware. I need to do this, because my phone came with 30 useless Chinese apps, they are taking about 350mb of my internal storage. Same thing happened when I tried to change Boot logo.
When apps that require root asked me for access, I granted it, but when I tried modifying files, an error occurred.
I need to delete these apps, because they are taking a lot of my internal storage.

Just to be clear, I tried many other apps like Root browser etc. but same thing happens
I guess that I've made some kind of mistake that I'm not aware of.
Thanks for futher assistance!
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Have you tried using an app like Titanium Backup to remove the unwanted apps?
Thank you for your reply
I've tried that, but same thing, app is "deleted" until I exit titanium backup, when I come back in it, apps are back there. I've tried removing them with recovery exploit, but after reboot, nothing changes, app is still there.

Ok. It might be a good idea to ask the A850 community to see if anyone who is experienced with the device can help you. You can find the A850 device forum here:
Lenovo A850
And within it there's a q&a section here:

Go ahead and ask your question there.
Good luck!

[Completed] Galaxy s GT-S7562

I've a problem with the GT-S7562. The device does an automatic reboot. The problem is that if I delete applications they will show up again after the reboot ( same apps, same files and same settings) every time I delete apps or files or change settings everything goes in vain once the device reboots. I've tried to do a hard reset and a recovery still doesn't change anything; same apps, same files and same settings. I've tried to flash a ROM; same result once the phone boots I'm still on the old ROM with the same apps, same files and same settings. What do you recommend?
Please I really need your help!

[Completed] Problem restoring app data with Titanium Backup

Hi
I have been struggling for a while to get the phone working again. When Dropbox failed to sync my 1gb pdf file, my /data became corrupted, I couldn't install anything and it was set as read only.
Managed to fastboot into CWM and perform a mkfs /ext2 on /data, and from then I was able to format /data. Thus I now have a "fresh" Kitkat OS.
Before I had these problems, I have made two nandroid backups (CWM and TWRP) and one Titanium backup. The CWM went gone when I did the parted mkfs /ext 2 so I couldn't restore from that. When I restored from TWRP, I got the UID mismatched error your device is unstable. So I thought it was a nandroid backup failure, and deleted that backup.
The only backup I have left is Titanium Backup. But everytime I try to restore an app + data, I get "Parsing error" and it hangs there. Using ES File Explorer I am able to install the .apk from the Titanium Backup folder but not the data. If i try to reinstall the data, the app goes grey in the launcher and I have to delete it (refering to the file uiderrors.txt in /data/system) from /data/data and /data/app.
I thought it was permissions but if "Fix Permissions" with CWM, upon every reboot I will get the "UID mismatched, please wipe /data because you're unstable" message. But I have discovered that if i "Fix Permissions" with TWRP at recovery, I was able to get rid of that message. I don't know if this is related to the problem I am having.
Right now I have a TitaniumBackup folder that is dated Jan 2016, but Titanium Backup thinks there's a parsing error on it. This is probably the newest version I got from the Play Store (non-Donate).
Device is Asus A68 Padfone
ROM is stock Kitkat
Rooted : Yes, TitaniumBackup is listed under SuperSU
The app I'm trying to restore data with is:
com.clapfootgames.tankhero <- this is the app I'm currently testing the data restore with
Flighttrack
Glympse
ED TradePad
Elite Notes
OpenTTD
Pocket (Read it later)
SimpleMind
Simple Rockets
and probably some others
I have gone through the "similar threads" as recommended on the top of this form page but they are not related to the problem I am having.
Please point me in the right direction

Hi Art, thanks for your reply. I do n't think its a device-specific issue because it used to work on the same device without a problem, only after I lost access to /data mount (it became read-only) did this become a problem.
Nevertheless, apparently the new updates in SuperSU has "mount namespace" on and TitaniumBackup gave me warnings about that. I unchecked it in SuperSU and I'm not able to restore my data.. phew.
