Is there any way to use wifi tether for T-Mobile on a Sprint S7 (SM-G390P)? I don't even see an option for tethering or mobile hotspot anywhere in my settings.

It was discovered that the FoxFi app works with the Verizon Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge variants. This is pretty big news as verizon has been able to block these apps on other devices. FoxFi uses a bit of trickery with VPN in the background to get wifi tether working without the subscription!

I just unlocked my AT&T LG G3 and I am using it on Metro PCS.
My METRO plan includes a mobile hotspot service. Whenever I install a hotspot app and try to start up an access point, I get an authentication problem.
My carrier let's me have a hotspot but my phone doesnt.
Is there an app/update that can fix this?
I use the AT&T s7 on cricket and I have a reoccurring issue with the mobile hotspot that I need help with. With no rhyme or reason the Hotspot will work one day and then the next day I get an error message "to enable mobile hotpot go to at&t.com to activate service". The next time it will work, does anybody have a suggestion on how to get this to work all the time. Thanks
They told me at cricket that the AT&T s7 on cricket will not tether. I can't even sign up for it on my line.
You may want to try FoxFi, its on the app store. I know it works with the Verizon S7 to enable the tethering while bypassing the carrier checks.
Foxfi does not work with Sprint.
Has anyone been able to do this on their at&t galaxy s8? I saw a thread regarding using shortcut master lite to enable hotspot on their sprint phones. I was wondering if it works on at&t phones as well. I tried it but my APN settings part is greyed out possibly because my at&t phone is now unlocked.
I'm using my safelink wireless simcard in my AT&T note 8 phone. When I try to turn on the hotspot I get the message saying "mobile hotspot unavailable. You need a data plan on att network ect...." Clearly I'm not able to contact att to add a data plan when I dont have service with them in the first place. The only wat I can tether is using my pdanet app. I want to use the mobile hotspot icon? Can any1 help me please?

Package Disabler Pro is $3 but after removing bloatware I am able to use hotspot on Cricket.
