Tomorrow, 11-9-16, there will be a app released onto the galaxy apps store to let you download the app to download android 7.0 beta onto your phone to beta test it. Once it starts it will allow you to register and if you are selected you are able to download the beta. I an posting a link to the Android Police article about this same topic for more information.

After testing rom 935U from samsung, I'll definitely wait patiently for samsung to release the U Nougat rom...
Why did you post this?
We already have a thread opened.

I recently watched a video on youtube that someone preinstalled the marshmallow samsung ota update on the note 5 and made a zip file for others to flash that. I cannot forward the link cause i am a new user, however, u can find it on Naldotech the thread by Ronaldo with this name:
install-marshmallow-firmware-on-samsung-galaxy-note-5-odin-tar-md5
Since we have roms like sixperience note 5 on N910c which applies the whole note 5 system on note 4, i wonder if it is possible to have this rom ported.
tell me if it is possible.
Tnx.
Sajjad.hn
Someone could port it but it would take a while and it would be less work to use the official release. You probably need to wait a few months after the official release.

Hello users ,in this thread I am going to discuss about the official update to the s7 , while the beta is out for select customers and countries ,others can't get the hands on the beta release and those who tried well some tasted success others a Warranty Void so being in the safe zone , I chose to stay for the official update,so when is it coming : according to the customer care in us we are going to get the update in the mid of December or the ending making it a Christmas gift for many ,so share your views on this topic .
Please provide your WhatsApp numbers for a Group to discuss about S7/S7 Edge Topics
I'm running the beta and i must say it's pretty stable for a beta so it's logical for a mid-December release official stable nougat !!!

About the Official Update
The Look and feel of the UI May change, according to the service centre, based on the user feedback so many changes may come and now Samsung is going on to develop Android 7.1 so we may not know the Update may be delayed to get 7.1 which of course may be bad for us so we need to wait !!!!
Please provide your WhatsApp number for further discussion of this update Kudos @Perfectdevil
Hi ,
I am a new android user and have never used odin before. My ATT S8+ is on CRD7(may security)software right now which I downloaded from Samsung science firmware website. I would like to know how I can update to latest ATT release so that I can receive OTA updates in future. Would appreciate if someone can provide me with download links and steps to install the software.
Thanks,

Locate the updated and correct firmware. Perhaps via Samware.
Flash with updated Odin, as normally done. It is pretty straight forward. Checkout the how to's on this site, via search. Search is your friend.
Note. if you are updating to CRED version OS, you will not be able to downgrade.
Voila.
On some Polish samsung forum i read about this version, any one know what's next?
This is Good news for us? Exynos users?
I cant post links...

I live in Germany have a DBT S9+ and I always check this website. This firmware is there since ysterday. Maybe it's Pie because all current Builds have a B in the firmware for example BRJ3 is the current one! And here CRJ9.
This is Android Pie, but i cant download this firmware. I dont know how. What app you use to download from this site?

You can't. All you can do is check the latest firmware version on sammy server. Pie in the sky, literally.
The 'pie' firmwares have been on the list there for quite a long time btw.
There are seven previous test Pie versions in the list.
Could any of the testers enlighten us please ?
I am waiting for this since the SD beta came out. Now lets just hope that we will have something to download and flash soon.
Be patience, few more days for you guys, not so long. and sorry, we cannot provide you guys pie for the exynos variant.

Do you mean a few more days until the beta starts or a few more days until a flashable firmware will be available for Exynos?

No if you love in a European country like Germany, France, the UK and some more there's a really high big and intense chance that you will be able to participate in the official beta program.
A new firmware is under testing. New Pie Build. No number at the end so maybe a final firmware close to the one we will see for the beta program?

Kinda hope so, we Exynos users feel kinda wronged with this. What's the problem with doing Snapdragon and Exynos for beta testing ?
Damn you Samsung! This doesn't look good on you!

This drive me crazy, i'm really exited to try new Samsung Experience, even i know that new ui is a mess.
So guys it's almost November. Last year the 2nd November Samsung announced the Beta Program which was a Thursday. So let's hope that Samsung is announcing the start for the beta program tomorrow on the 1st November.
Fingers crossed!
I don't think it will happen tomorrow. The last two years there were always a few Z-firmwares (beta firmwares) on the server before the beta was announced, but at the moment there is nothing to see for the Exynos variant.
And also the last years, the beta FAQs were released a few days before, which is not the case so far.

Hello,
I managed to get the ROM links (Google Drive), for iFFalcon TV models, which run Official Android TV 7.0/8.0, and are sold in India.
iFFalcon is a sub-brand by TCL.
These are .rar files, which need to be extracted to a pendrive, & then plugged into TV's USB port.
Procedure:
Keep Pressing Power button on TV, & switch it ON, Keep pressing for 10~15 seconds, & the Update Process should start Automatically.
Find the software link below:

To Mods: Kindly create a new Thread under Android TV with name "iFFalcon TV" & move this thread under it.
Awesome.
I have 55" K2A 4K Tv.
My 55K2A is Android 7 & the file you posted above for my model is v8, is it Android 8 update for my tv?
Can you help in rooting it?
May I ask why you are posting this under nvidia shield tv?
Edit.
Nvm, saw that you posted it in the wrong place

I haven't yet used these links, since i'm waiting for OTA update.
Why would you want to root ?
Very bad memory management. I wanted Greenify.
is there a full fledged forum for this tv? like how xda has for phones?

Check this out.. It's very active.
Even more active is the FB page called iffalcon fan club.
OP - the link you have shared for K2A says the build number is 364. I strongly believe it is Nougat and not Oreo. The Oreo OTA being released for K2A has version number 511!

The latest version (which we are getting as OTA) is 511. As of now, only v509 (it is still Oreo, just one version older) manual update package is available right now. As per reports on other forums, this firmware is pretty good and stable
