[Q] KangVip for HONOR 8 - Honor 8 Questions & Answers

Does anyone have already tried rom?:
=======================
http://pan.baidu.com/share/link?uk=1528889538&third=0&shareid=3479512120&adapt=pc&fr=ftw

I'm not, but many people use it, idk why.

I've used WBT-KangVip on my previous Honor 7 phone, it's amazing with lots of nice features reworked by Warrior Bootloop Team WBT from France and translated to english to work with international PLK-L01 model.
But I'm not sure if this is FRD-L04/ FRD-L09 compatible as both models can use same roms.

Have you tried CM 13.0?
Well you should.

What is the meaning " Exynos "

My mobile Model SM-N900, in which forum i must search for ROM ?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/galaxy-note-3-exynos-android-development
this one
and you should move your thread to this form
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/help
good luck
Exynos is referring to the processor inside the phone.... The US version of the Note 3 did not have Samsung's Exynos processor. They went with Snapdragon CPU. The International Note 3 has the Exynos CPU. I think there are other international versions too that dont have Samsung's CPU in them but knowing which phone you have in this case is important.

The Exynos threads for the Note 3 are a bit behind others like Sprint version. There is an Aurora ROM going around that adds Note 5 features but not without issues. You will have to research the ROM Threads to see. But Pekaka ROM and the other older ROM (forgot name but latest version is L24) are probably the most stable with less issues.

Stock ROM instead of carrier's branded one?

Hi,
I'm considering buying Honor 8 and I need to know what steps will be needed for flashing manufacturer's stock ROM instead of carrier's branded one? Is it required unlocked bootloader or is there any more simple method?
There is no stock rom currently available.
If you still use HUAWEI's official ROM, no need to unlock your bootloader. Just wait for HUAWEI releases the files.
But so far there is no files yet avaliable for Honor 8.
Stock ROM here.
This is for the FRD-L09 model only.

Aha, nice sharing. Although I couldn't find any ROM in EMUI website yet, for stock ROM, better stick with official website.

Its not onlyredmi they have mi 4,5 , note and all
But if u like miui more u cn get more custumizations for mi there as they wud have more mi custumized roms which ull like plus ull also get a stable miui version with which mi phones are shipped
So it wud a lot better option but u wont get hardware this gud in the price this better
So choice is urs.
Plus for the record vanilla android is always better than any skinned modified version of android like which samsung or sony or any mi phones comes with
I guess u havent used any nexus phones till now that is y u r not a fan of that feel
Cynogenmod and aosp roms are way way better than any skined ****ty ui
Try n use for some time nd then compare

Miui pro for redmi 4 prime

I've been using this for a few days and I'd say it's perfect. Based on latest Chinese developer and stable roms you have everything miui has and even more. No Chinese apps totally bug free and debloated. Give it a try guys. You won't regret it. And now there are two versions of it.
MiuiPro Stable 9.2.2.0 : https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=783994&view=findpost&p=68453165
And Miui Pro Developer 7.12.14 :

Sounds good thanks... Look ideal. Kinda' reluctant to change roms again, as all set up and running on epic.. Takes ages setting up all the apps etc..
Might do though after there is more info' on this rom.. (==
I tried 4 or so stock roms, inc' epic, guess epic is semi stock rom. Found some not great on battery. I got my epic one running light..
How many roms have you tried please? I ask so I know if you have knowledge to compare battery life? With all due respect (=
For instance I found the 82.1 rom very heavy on juice, the lighter eur rom was better I found..
Look forward to more info', nice one,.....

Here's the folder containing the rom I've ever tried for my 4 prime. As you see almost all of them. And after all these decided this as the best. It's battery friendly, contains no Chinese, pre rooted, perfectly works with titanium backup and xposed. Of course i used mokee roms for a while and liked it too but to be honest they are not as fluid and beautiful as miui. Mokee 7.1.2 was perfect but not compatible with xposed regretfully. So to those who don't use xposed I suggest mokee but if you want everything all together, miuipro is the rom for you. And to those who keep saying it's scam, I say what's your problem guys? Check it's website and give it a try. You may live it too then [emoji12] [emoji6]

Google play

Hi I have recently purchased a oppo find X2 pro from eBay 2nd hand. When I've set it up it says the Google play is not certified and also Google pay will not work. I have checked with safety net and it fails with CTS profile mismatch. I'm not great with phones so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Craig
Do you have the Chinese or global variant?

I'm on A.30 as well, just check up on Google ways to fix this, shouldn't be to hard I don't think.
