[Q] Camera does´nt work more pls HLP

Hi all, my HTC sensation z710e (G14 MTK6573) clone can´t take Photos anymore. Cause of my stupidity had to flash. Since flashing, the camera is death. I tried to install original Cameraopen (2.3.4) apk (also from system/app ) but either is failed, or sometimes succeed, but the message is: The application Camera (process com.mediatek.camera) has stopped unexpectedly. Pls try later.I have no orig. ROM I found an Update.zip in Internet. The update has Cameraopen 2.2.1 didn´t work ever.
Has anybody idea please?

I have found something: My friend has the same Phone, all the same, only this is different: I have Build Number a5 200111013-103833 he has mt73_w830_w880m3_hrx_user.
I have copided with Titanium Backup, "create Update.zip or Batch " but without success, Camera remain in coma

I have installed Camera Zoom FX and the frontcamera works, the back does´nt. Any idea please

Any Google Camera 4.4.2 Omnirom fix for Video recording (i9100)?

Hi, i was checking about a fix for video recording fix with the google camera for the Omni Rom, but unfortunatly, no flash works, if u have a solution pls replay me, im with a phone what cant record a video .

Have you tried camera 360. When I had the motorola defy and installed new rom, the rom bug me the phone's camera and this app solved my life.

Well i ve been trying all the app even the 360 camera and nothing works, on cyanfox evrything is ok, i mean the camera works perfectly but without camera sphere, or smart capture, till nowi dont have anu solution only changing the rom waiting for a fix for omnirom camera

In regards to camera problem
Ok, so i'm in exactly the same situation you are in as the recording feature of the stock camera app or any app failed to work for me (froze and crashed app). So far I have found two fixes, the first one thanks to a user called "RambJoe", so thank him if it works (it didn't work for me )
Fix 1-
1. Install/Open a file explorer on your device (I used ESFileExplorer)
2.Enable "Root Explorer" (Under Menu>Tools>Scroll to bottom on ES)
3.Navigate to system/etc/init.d/80cfw (This file seems to be missing on my phone, and I have found other people who have not got it as well. I believe it is because this guide isn't compatible with the International version of the SII i9100, so if you do not have it, skip to Fix 2)
4.Change the permission of the 80cfw file to rwx r-x r-x (Select the file, tap on "More" and scroll down to "Properties" and change the permissions from there)
5. Save and reboot, that should do the trick!
The next fix requires you to have Titanium Backup (FREE) to be installed or another such app that can delete/modify system apps. You can thank me for this one
Fix 2-
1. Download this apk *DO NOT INSTALL YET* - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2340858 (Thanks nexūs0 for upload)
2. Open up Titanium and back up, then delete your stock Gallery app
3.Find and install the apk you downloaded in step one
4.Open up the Gallery app and you should find the camer ON THE GALLERY APP ONLY working correctly (it did for me, anyway). The other camera apps still do not work

Need help with my mtk6589 device

Hey all, I was updating the system apps of my mtk6589 device (infinix X451 - RBoltQ, android 4.2.1) device ie calender, email , deskclock, launcher etc to that of the android 4.4Kkat . Thay all worked perfectly it felt cool. I then updated my camera to that android 4.2.2 (all done with root explorer and link2SD ). Later on I came across the google camera. It always FC so I thought maybe making it a system app (using Link2SD) & deleting my other camera apps will resolve the issue. This didn't work . I even changed some lib files like I saw on a blog (libjn...mosaic,liblightcycle, lib..google.. - backed them all manually 1st though) still no avail. Now I restored the normal camera and the lib files, with their required permissions (root explorer) but ALL CAMERA apps installed FC ..even with a hard reset, the camera icon is NO LONGER there , only the gallery (for the stock camera). Apps like Antutu BM and Dx toolbox can't detect the camera (front and rear) or say Not supported. Same with apps that use Cam or flash or both. Flashlight too is no longer available while I noticed that the Glauncher now FC when I want to change wallpaper and the STOCK RECOVERY now shows an android with a red exclamaition mark. Gone 3 weeks without the camera, FL and now going through blogs and forums & I just don't know what to do.. Please any help will be appreciated as I don't want to loose my mtk device or its camera - even as my joy of getting my first android smartphone last year (dec 29) is turning into a nightmare. Thanks in advance.

Did you make backup before? I don't think so. Try to flash stock recovery and then install stock ROM (or custom ROM).

[Q] Some bugs on CM11 GT-S7270 Galaxy Ace 3

I have cust rom CM11 for my GT-S7270, this stable but some bug I cant fix. for example :
1. Camcorder cannot recorded well, I try to install some app 3rd example snap camera, but still cannot recorded...
2. Some app 3rd example path and path talk have force closed for 1-2 minute after opening thats app...
3. I can't find drive/driving mode on thats rom,
somebody can fix thats?

If you could ensure first that you have the latest version of cyanogenmod, you can do this by: settings > about phone > cyanogenMod updates.
1 + 2. to try fixing force close and the camera issues, go to settings > apps > the app that has the issue > clear defaults.
This should help with a lot of force close issues and hopefully the camera. Then if you could restart the device and let me know how that goes for you we can take things from there
3. car home has not been included in Cyanogenmod since CM7 I'm afraid, however there are some excellent 3rd party apps that do the same job You can see them here

my advice would be to:
A) ensure you have the latest update for CM it could be rectified in a recent update, this can be done by going to Settings>about phone>CM updates
and if that does not work
B) perform a Nandroid back up through recovery mode and then try reflashing CM11 it is very possible that it was just a bug that occurred during flashing let us know how it goes

Whatsapp voice note/message stopped working on 32.2.A.0.244(6.0.1)

Hi guys, I've just updated to the new 6.0.1 on my Z5 yesterday and today while using Whatsapp I noticed the voice message playback stopped working. Has this occurred to anyone else as well?
Even the audio recorder playback is fudged.
I have tried :
1. clearing cache and dalvik from recovery
2. clearing data and cache in Apps for Whatsapp
3. clean reinstall of Whatsapp (uninstall then installing from play store)
4. Uninstalled Xposed
5. Installing latest xposed
I'm kinda stumped here.
I updated using Xperifirm and rooted and patched the kernel with rootkernel(I also have TA restored and flashed)
and I've installed Xposed from here(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811)
Using version > xposed-v84-sdk23-arm64.zip
If anyone knows the answer to this problem please chime in.

Same problem here, but I'm still on .185

Same problem. Not only whatsapp.
It happened if other apps using the voice note too.
Once the voice notes used, the speaker just become no sound, and cannot use the voice note and make call any more.
Anyone have solution?

Hi, did you try if your microphone works? e.g. Phone call or Test microphone after trying service code i.e. *#*#7378423#*#*
And happens to me too time to time and always helps to restart phone and everything works
