Hi ive just compiled a new CM13 rom. However the Camera, Light sensors, Orientation, Gyroscope sensors dont work. Is there something Ive done wrong while compiling this?

I have noticed on any froyo build the Ambient light sensor works great, But on any gingerbread build rom i have tried it only register multiple of 10
1,10,100,1000,10000
Thats it.
Some other forums talk about something being left out of gingerbread build.prop for the sensor but i have failed to find anything for the infuse.
I would appreciate any information pointing me in the right direction.
and as far as i can tell its like that with all roms i have tried and i have tried most.

Not sure if it's hardware or software issue. I tested latest CM11 nightly and CM12 nightly - both the same. While recording with any 3rd party app, I noticed lost focus and zoom every 1-2 seconds.

There is exactly the same effect while recording with CameraNext with autofocus set to continous. Do you have the same effect? If I set autofocus to auto in CameraNext, there is no autofocus at all
as i can see, its trying to focus on the closest point, try an other focus mode(infinity should work i think).
when you touch the screen to focus somewhere else is it working?

Yes, but it's trying it even if there is no any closer point. Seems one of latest CM12 updates solved this effect. However, any other than continous in CameraNext causes autofocus to be not working at all, I think it should not be
did you try to install an other rom? with the 44s i dont have that kind of problem, but i had an other one with the focus, but totally different than yours(mine doesnt focus on very close objects all the times )
I tried cm11 nightly, now I'm on CM12. I like cm12 so far and I don't really want to switch back to 4.4
Ok nothing is fixed, I wonder why nobody else experienced the same... hardware problem??

I had been on CM12 for a while and at some point, not sure exactly when, my accelerometer stopped working, it would not autorotate landscape when holding the phone that way, all my photos were saved in the wrong direction etc. I also noticed that autobrightness completely stopped working.
I recently flashed the new stock based rom that is on the android development section thinking it was a AOSP or CM based bug, but I still am unable to get those things to work. It is very frustrating.
Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I have been wandering around new roms lately, I am using 64gb Sandstone Black Oneplus ONE device and I am in europe region (Turkey).
I have this issue since I am using CM12.1 nightlies and custom roms, My screen was not auto rotating and I was wondered if its a hardware issue or not. I installed Sensors Kinetics application from google play store, There is bunch of sensors listed in that application but I almost only have 2 or 3 sensors which is lights sensor and a non working proximity that always has 0 cm value and never changes. Tested while talking with my friend from the phone, screen not goes off when I have the phone near my ear.
I lately installed a rom from @Sultanxda Unofficial cm12.1 with CAF kernel. in this firmware my every other sensors are working. Accelerometer showing some results, screen is rotating, proximity tells 1-5cm values, gyro is working etc.
But my sensors are broken in every other ROM I have tried until now. I am now using Slimsaber's rom and my sensors are not working.
I wiped cache & dalvik etc. evet formatted every part of my phone to get a clean install of some roms but still my sensors are not working.
And also I my cell is often get no signal, I have to reboot 2-3 times to get a reception.
Halp me please guys. What can I do to get my sensors back online in Slimsaber's or another roms?

Worked fine with the stock ROM, with CM12.1 nightlies proximity and accelerometer do nothing (i.e. not effective).
Strange thing is, in some sensor testing apps the proximity sensor shows some data and seems to function, in others nothing happens. Same with the accelerometer.
Still there's no effect on the phones behaviour. the screen is not locked during calls, no screen rotation, ...
as for reception: unstable but restores quickly (I remember reading something about that...)

[OT: for my own learning process: how come sensors are controlled/defined/whatever in the modem thingy? is there any info or documentaion on "what is where"?]

I'm just bought 2ndhand mi4i and got 3 major prob..
1) backlit button don't have light but still function & vibrate..I ready change setting but nothing happen
2) autofocus/cannot take close pic/macro prob even use other camera at Google play and flash Snapdragon camera
3) all sensor [email protected], light, accelerometer, magnetic, gyroscope..I all ready done this method
I) fastboot persist persist.IMG
II) dev/block/mmcblk0p22
III) flash v6.5.3, china ROM, custom ROM like cm,
RR, aicp etc
but still nothing happen..in hardware test, the perimeter just show NaN.. in sensor box app also disabled..
Can anyone help me? If hardware prob, is it come from single module/part?
This is why i Don't want to buy a second device...
