[Q] help with jenkins????????????

I am new to this .i installed jenkins on windows so i can build me a cm stable build from stable branch but.i dont even know where to start
like how to add code what i need
please help
i added a new item and named it cyanogenmod
but where i add source code and that all stuff
i followed this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2467004
but i got stuck where should i add device name and git things all
i am a really noob any type of help appreciated

Hello need pointers

Hello all,
I have decided to start learning development process and begin compiling kernels for our device A110 but as this is the beginning im clueless as to where to begin and what all is necessary therefore id reqquest you members to please advice me the steps,links to setup and compile kernel to our device also as there are many aources for Mtk6577 id request you people to please twll me the good source, use of github as well.
It is not necessary that I start off qith compiling a kernel right away!! If theres aomething a basic beginning step like compiling recovery or other thing or either compiling a kernel for other Soc as beginning learnin step all are welcome to do ao.
Ao please let me contribute to development and help the community....
Please provide guides,links etc so that I can begin my learning journey!!
Please don't consider me as lazy coz of this post, its just that I dont hace much time after my 13hr job n studies (currently my exams are also going on!! ) to sit and research...

have you compiled a kernel, arm or arm64? Can you please share your findings.
I tried to compile arm64 but without luck. Arm is being compiled but don't know how to put it inside kernel, cause no zimage inside it.

Hello everyone,
I hope to find some help from the Gurus out there.
I have a decent amount of knowledge so i decided to compile a ROM from my unsupported device.
What is not clear to me is how do i compile a ROM with different android_device, android_vendor and android_kernel sources
I'm currently following this guide http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Doc:_porting_intro so it it enough to copy the content of my the directories as per the point "Set up three new directories" ??
I would love to have a mentor to help me out, anyone?

Building a Rom

Hi, i'm trying to build a Rom from sources for S8+. Could someone please point me to the sources and help me out in finding the correct Device Tree,Vendor, and kernel sources. Any help will be appreciated as i'm new to this, but it's a start!
