It's a pretty big (unwritten?) rule around here to not ask for ETAs. They posted recently in the official xposed thread that they're working on it. Let's just be happy and patient with that.

I am not the ROM developer or anything, I'm just a user and a fan so please don't bother asking me anything. I'm just creating this thread here because there isn't one for this ROM and I thought every one here should know it exists because it is the best ROM for our device imo.
You can get it here: http://downloads.aospextended.com/addison
I use Beans Gapps with it (Mini) but I guess you can use Open Gapps as well.
For root I install Magisk beta that can be downloaded from here. Simply flash the zip with TWRP and it'll install everything. Safetynet all green.
It comes with Pixel Launcher by default when you use Beans Gapps mini. I can't tell about other combinations because I haven't tried them.
Also you can find the devs on their official Google Plus page here: https://plus.google.com/communities/106726906578669931141
Im using it with nano gapps and it is also comes with pixel launcher.

You really should have the developer post a thread if they want their work circulated, this way the rom can be supported. otherwise people have no one to turn to if they do have an issue.
thanks for making this thread, i didn't even know AOSP Extended was available for the Z Play, i used it on my X 2014 and i loved it, i will definitely try it.
Nice thread!

I have contacted (PM) the maintainer (according to what it's said in the downloads page) but he didn't responded to me, and as I said, I just wanted people here to know this ROM exists and works great, so the community can benefit from it the same way I do.

The idea is not to report you but to educate. It is not polite to pass along someone else's work without their permission and then refer people to another forum. You could have just mentioned the rom and then asked for direct messaging to then supply the link to whom wanted it. Other wise this is a complete unsupported rom here on XDA. It always seems the simple things slip the mind.
Thank you
I would have never known about this. Thank you!

Wow,, this ROM works very well. Tons of great customization optics.
Kernel is permissive by default, can use terminal "setenforce 1" to change to enforcing.
Couldn't get mAgisk 12 to work, but the latest beta 13 works fine!

Please give us more informations. Who made this version? Is it fully functional and stable?
The last statement to Xposed-development by Rovo89 was this:
It doesn’t make sense at all to publish flashable ZIPs with this, as the port is only intended for recompiling a ROM from scratch.
And as I feared, there is not a single warning that this is an incomplete port that will often fail to fulfill the API contract. ? That’s bad for developers and users, they should at least know it’s incomplete so they can decide whether they want to support/use it. I would never dare to do something like that without a big fat warning. Actually, as I’m rather perfectionist, I wouldn’t publish an incomplete version at all, reliablity is very important for me.

You can also change your xda theme to dark, this is for SM-N9005 (HLTE) (Snapdragon) only. Also the ViPER4Android.7z contains all the presents for ViPER FX so don't forget to download that too.
I use XDA's dark theme so it didn't show up this way, sorry about that, fixing that now, also adding a few things I forgot about.

Are there any other issues you noticed other than gapps?
I'm going to have to start from scratch to fix this, when I flashed gapps to this rom it was the first thing (Before Mods) so I believe that's the issue. But if there's anything you'd like to see added or removed let me know so I can get that done in this next version.

No problem. Dont get afraid. Moderators firstly contact OP to clarify and solve the problem without any noise (I am not a moderator; I just contacted you to see whether there is a need to file a report to moderators) Only if it is not being solved, the thread gets temporarily closed (until the issue is solved). If still not solved, thread will stay inactive.
But you removed the download link, which means there is currently nothing to worry. Next time please be more thoughtful. I know you want to provide best for users, but when you put yourself on shoes of dev, whose apk you provide freely, you will empathise and understand.
Good luck.

Yes! I 100% understand. I'm a work in progress developer. I love what you all do, it just gets my mind going with new release techniques and innovative ideas! I am revamping the thread I try to make it as easy as possible for the user to look through quotes of DEVs work that is included within the final. Thanks must be given at the user level of this thread. I will not provide illegal material nor copy another's work without proper recognition to it's author.
Thanks so much for the shout out! Much changes to come but thank you your very helpful reply!

Flashed both module and kernel successfully. All running well!
Appreciate the kernel and your willingness to always steer people in the right direction - if everyone with your level of knowledge in Android shared it as freely as you do, we wouldn't have so many helplessly noob users.
Even if you're not running this kernel, you'll benefit from the source because that's just the kind of project this is and that's the part of Android that is worth preserving :good:

Yeah that's an issue I encountered with Stag as well. It also crashes when trying to install from Chrome.

Bugs so far:
1. Private dns doesnt seem to save the selected dns.
2. Package installer as reported by fellow users.
Hi, I downloaded it, but flashed the one with March Security update instead because of the security patch that is critical for me. If you'll update the security patch, I'll flashed it. Thanks though for the effort.
