[Completed] SGH-I337 - XDA Assist

So here it is .
I found this phone as i imagine the person heavly droped it cuz of to back cover is quite obvious. So now I'm stuck with it but I can't figure it out how to solve a problem. I can't make any calls , can't receive either.
I'm curently in Spain and this model it's an at&t and I don't know how it's blocked or not because I can't make any normal calls with any carrier sim.
I've tried rooting it install a custom rom i've done many things to it but in the end I updated it back to 5.0.1 from the stock rom that i found that was with android 4.2 .
Nothing that I tried did no good.
Is there any way to make it work on calls . It's the only catch that it has ... nothing else.

you should always backup the imei. (Its on the efs partition)
At this point this is a job for your carrier.
Try this

[Q] Advice plz Re flashed ROM on S4 (baseband problem)

I'd like some advice please on what to do next. I rooted then flashed my Samsung S4 with a new ROM named Imperium v16.1. Everything is fine except the classic issue of having little to no data connectivity. Wireless is fine and when people try to ring me it's fine. I try to ring out though I have to go into and exit airplane mode.
This is the first time I've flashing an android handset so I definitely put myself in the n00b category.
I'm at the stage that I just don't care what ROM I have I just need data connectivity to work again. Yes I was probably stupid it try it but you know what it's like. We all want to experiment!
I guess I have two questions. If I install another ROM will I just have the same problem? Also, from my research, I get the impression that the problem is that my handset's modem drivers/baseband(?) don't match the ROM. Is that accurate/likely?
Any advice or simple background into what's going on would be grand!!
Thanks community!

Your stock firmware was the outdated Jellybean 4.2.2. Flash latest stock firmware from HERE and you'll be able to use newer custom roms. And free user can cload with 300kb/s, don't be scared by the 15kb/s.
Thank you. I've got the download.. I'll give it a go this evening after work.
(wow the copy of Odin I picked up is full of bloatware.. Wonder if the source I got it from was a bit dodge)
That has worked beautifully! Thank you very much.
Gosh, I had forgotten how bloaty and boring the stock ROM is.

[Q] [G900P] Noise Problem with calls

Hi,
I'm having problems with calls.
Since i unlocked my phone (using a Brazil carrier) i can place calls, mms, data, etc. But the calls have noises and i can't hear very well the other person, suddenly the noise pass (i not moved my phone to look for signal). I'm sure that isn't the signal, because all time i have full signal.
I passed by lot of roms (at least 6 - in this moment i'm using the OA6 [MOAR]) and all have the same problem.
Can be the modem? Is possible change by G900M modem? (brazilian S5 phone)
Someone have the same problem?
I think the issue you have it that MOAR is designed for Sprint CDMA/LTE and not GSM.
I know folks have unlocked the 4.4.4 phone for international use, but I am not sure that 5.0 has been fully unlocked.

Thanks for information Vandy.
I don't remember if all roms that i installed was MOAR, but all roms that i installed have the same problem with callings.
I will install another rom (maybe the official) to see if the problem persists.
If someone has the same problem with callings, please, share here.

HTC Desire 620G Dual Sim

I recently came into the possession of a HTC Desire 620G Dual Sim (it was my father's) Android 4.4.2, Kernel 3.4.67, Chipset Mediatek MT6592 (Online is liste as android 4.4.4 but that is a lie). After days of searching the web and reading countless forums I came to the conclusion that this is a very unpopular and abandoned smartphone. I really want to change the android version on this phone, I know how to root, I learned from this forums. The only problem I have is that I can't find any android versions ported for this phone, I need anything newer than 4.4.2, I would like 4.4.4 or lollipop as i heard it runs better. I checked all custom androids none has support for this device, I cant even find this phone on the clockworkmod and TWRP list of devices. What do I do now? If I can't even install a custom recovery on this phone? So to sum this up, I need a custom recovery mode for this phone and a ported android version newer than 4.4.2. I would appreciate any help.

Hi, even if my answer has nothing to do with what you asked, you seem to have the abilities to make a backup copy of your stock rom, that's waiting that you still have your stock rom in that phone and it's european model.
Could you please be so kind to make a backup copy of your rom?
And by the way, there's at least one russian guy that has cooked one rom for this phone, even if it seems to have some issues yet.
Thanks in advance

Hi, I'm very sorry I flashed MIUI v5.8.27 Beta, a rom found on these forums ported by a guy, maybe the same guy you speak of. I regret it now, I need the stock rom back, I liked it better. I did found something over the web a stock rom but I'm to wuss to try it because there is a chance I'll brick my phone and this is the only phone I got. Do you want to try that stock rom? I'll find it again for you.

That's very kind of you. I have in fact found also a stock Rom, but is not the same the version as my phone's, plus is a Rom for phones sold in India and I bought mine at in Europe, so I prefer not to "risk" this time.
There are some sites that really have all the roms, but they want money to let you download anything, is quite "strange" and I will not say anything else about that.
Sadly, HTC doesn't provide free download for any of their devices, like they used to do and I am not sure about what could happen if I download and install one of those branded roms that can ba apparently downloaded.
Finally, what I want is simply recover the "normal" functionality of this phone, because after rooting, I lost the camera function, the whole system became absolutely unstable and getting worst, so now it resets itself without warning just like that and it's not providing any acoustical messages anymore, so I know I will never root again a phone with any of those "tools", I will do it old style, connecting with a command line terminal.
So maybe that Rom you're using may fit the bill for me, but I couldn't find a way to install cwm or twrp on this phone to install any cooked Rom and I've been really out of this chores for quite some time to know enough to find the right way to do this on my own.
So thanks for any help you can provide and I think it would be really nice to provide this Rom here because it's more than one person who needs it and apparently no one really cares about this phone, there are several people with these problems.
