Hi Guys,
I tried to avoid third party App for LED control (saving resources) but it just doesn't work. Any recommendations for good LED control App with minimum battery use?
Thanks
I use Light Manager Pro. It's work very well.
I'm very happy with Light Manager Pro too.

I use Light Manager too - although it's far from perfect on the S7E it seems to be the best out there...
I am using Light Flow Legacy with separate Light Flow License. It's working fine for me.

My understanding is that individual android devices need their own app for controlling their camera flash as a flashlight/blinding ray. We need one!
Tiny Flashlight + LED on Android Market works fine to me.
Torch works great. Also has widget. Or you can wait for Skystocketeer's next update.
included in the 12 and 14 panel mod. no app needed.
Brightest flashlight in the market works excellent for skyrocket. You can have the led, screen, or both on. Many great reviews on the app, one of my must haves.

Works great for me too.
Hello! I am looking for the best fliashlight app available. I use the stock one from ICS 4.0 at the moment, but I hate how when I lock the screen, it turns off! Is there a flashlight app out there that stays on until you tell it to turn off? Let me know!

TelsaLED for sure. I used it before CM9 had the built in torch app. It's got a lot of cool features, better than the CM9 one I just downloaded to test, and the light did stay on after I locked the phone.
I do like Tiny Flashlight by Nikolay Ananiev the most, because u can create an homescreen widget for quick start.
Flashlight app of course...
I gave Flashlight LED Genius a try, and I think I like it the most. You can turn the light on from your lock screen by simply shaking your phone, and they make it so the lockscreen doesn't turn off for a set amount of time that you can adjust. Definitely a nice light app.

Flashlight. Plus the widget
yea... Flashlight
Flashlight... As everyone else agrees
The best flashlight app I have used is this simple sucker right here. It turns on automatic, plus it has an option where you can just tap the light icon whenever you need the light so it doesn't have to stay on the entire time. No Bells and Whistles - just a simple flashlight app.
Actually, I can't post the link so just go to Google Play - type in 831 media and the app is called SIMPLE LED FLASHLIGHT.
My 2 cents....

Maybe there are any direct links to your Flashlight apps?
The only link here is the TeslaLED and please try to enter just "Flashlight" in the Playstore... you will not find exactly what you want
So it would be VERY helpfull if you guys can link the app's directly, thanks
I find the flashlight in Pie Control is quite easy to use.
Built-in quick settings toggle in 6.0.1/ Battery Widget Reborn (had the free one, but i upgraded to the paid variant)

They have been giving you the names of the apps, you just have to search for the app they mentioned rather than "flashlight". You have to have 10 posts to post links.

I downloaded this app mainly because you said it was highly customizable and stayed on when your screen was off and I like it.
Very customizable, has modes for On/Off, Off after x minutes, On while holding toggle, Text to Morse code with option to repeat continuously, and a couple of others.
Even the widget is customizable and it also stayed on for me when I turned my screen off.
Hello Everybody,
I am new member of this forum and new android developer.
Here is my very first and very simple application already available in Google Play: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.techcraft.simpleflashlight (copy this link to your browser or search in google play for phrase pl.techcraft.simpleflashlight)
Simple Flashlight use camera LED if available (screen is dark with minimum brightness to reduce battery consumption) or white screen with maximum brightness. No additional features, minimal user interface, no unnecessary permissions, no ads.
I have only one android device (LG L9) so I will be very happy for tests and comments how it works on other devices.
Simple and handy.
Nexus 5, working good.
Installed it on my nexus 5 , works good. Just would like to see the app a little different. If you open the app, make a switch available for turning on and off the light, and create a widget for fast turning on and off the ligt.

My idea was to keep gui (and whole app) as simple as possible, but maybe add one switch isn't a bad idea.
I have got widget in my plans for near future

I think the same! Exactly! So just make it with switch for on/off once you open the apk and one widget.

you can try this for flashing dot...( don't expect it will serve the purpose of an actual LED notification not sure why google got rid of it... meh )
free version - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ledblinker
paid version - if you think the free version gives you the comfort then... mostly you can add more apps to be included in notification

I don't get this as well! Thx for the hint. Will have a look.
It works alright, but coming out of the notification screen can be a bit glitchy. Also, after a few seconds the screen dims and the notification light can be a little hard to see.
Also I find the payed version quite expensive - but overall it seems to be what I was looking for.

Apps like these keep your phone awake and drain the battery. Just use the Pixel Pulse app in the mods and themes sub forum.

If you use AOD it is awake. This app is using that. If you turned AOD then yes, battery. I am most disappointed by glitches when I try to open the phone.

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing. The AOD function is not the same as what most 3rd party apps use to keep the phone awake.
Pixel pulse, is the way to go, and the customized colors makes it even better at 2 AM work email notifications, so i know wtf i need to fix in the morning hahahaha
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-8-pro/themes/app-aodnotify-notification-light-led-t4103187
This app gives edge lighting notifications or Led dot type that stays on in intervals until phone unlocked or notifications dismissed. Works well on the 7 Pro, center glow edge light very similar to OP horizon lighting on ambient display.
How did you get it installed? Play Store listing mentions compatibility with 7 Pro, but the store itself says incompatible and won't allow dowliad/installation.
I can confirm it is working on the OnePlus 7 pro 5g, and Google assistant still works. :victory:

It installed for me. I didn't go to the Play Store. I installed it from the link. Try this https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/jawom...neplus-8-aodnotify-3-10-android-apk-download/

Led blinker app works just fine.
How's the battery consumption with this app?
From developer post:
BATTERY USAGE PER HOUR ~:
• LED - 7.5%
• LED & INTERVAL - 5.5%
• LED & ECO ANIMATION - 3.5%
• LED & ECO ANIMATION & INTERVAL - 2.5%
