Hi
I have an S7 edge that is suddenly showing the alarm clock icon constantly .
I have no alarms set ... I've cleared cache and data in the clock app but its still there.
If i restart the phone it comes on again after a few seconds .
Im in the UK and the only thing thats changed is the clocks going back an hour but i cant see why that would make the alarm clock icon permenently on ?
Its trivial but really annoying
Got Pandora installed? Seems to have an alarm function in there causing it
And add the clock / alarm widget to the homescreen, see if that is storing any

[SOLVED]
Here's a weird problem. I am NOT using the stock alarm system in Android, I am instead using the Kaloer clock application. I have all of the alarms off and deleted from the stock application, but the icon is still showing at the top. Does Kaloer clock enable the stock alarm icon? It has it's own built in icon so I wouldn't think so, but I'm wondering if I can get it turned off since I'm not using the stock alarm application.
[Solution:]
In the newest update of Kaloer clock, there is now an option to turn off the stock alarm icon as well as the Kaloer icon.
Thanks!
was wondering the samething?
I use Alarm Clock Plus & there's an option in settings to hide the alarm icon. You could try that, but I don't know how to do it with the app you use.
Turned off
The weird part is I have it turned off in the Kaloer clock app too. But I still get the icon at the top. If I reboot the phone, the icon goes away until the next time I run the Kaloer clock app. So I know it's linked to that app and not a general glitch. There's just no other way for me to turn it off and I find it kind of irritating since I'm anal retentive and don't want excess icons at the top of my screen.
Hoping someone can help me with this issue:
One of the "voice command" apps I was using set an alarm, and now I can't get the alarm icon to go away from the notification bar. I'm using a TouchWiz-based ROM (Synergy), but the clock app doesn't show any alarms set/active. In fact, I deleted every alarm and the icon is still there. I'm sure it's something that one of the "voice command" apps set, but can't figure out how to remove it. I even uninstalled all the voice command apps I use, and it's still there.
Is there a way to see all active clock alarms outside of the TouchWiz Clock app?
Thanks much.
##Edit: Figured it out. Alarm had been set using a desk clock app while in dock that is different from normal alarm.
How do I get rid of my alarm icon. I don't have any alarm set never did it just came on the other day and I can't get rid of it I go into my clock app and there are no alarms set
I fixed it
The icon was lit up because I have a schedule recording on TuneIn Radio. Never had it before guess it's a new thing since I updated the app last week
Got the update yesterday. Alarm Clock Extreme quit working (sounds and notifications, the app shows the alarm working and can be disabled, but unless you are looking at the app you wouldn't know). Installed Alarm Clock Plus, same thing. Google Clock works but the volume keeps going to ZERO. Do Not Disturb is not enabled.
Any ideas? This is a Verizon Pixel 2. Thanks!

I use "Sleep as Android" and have not had any issues.
Thanks, John. I'll check that out now. Alarm Clock Extreme started working this morning, which is strange, it didn't have any recent updates.
yesterday after updating some apps from the playstore (but maybe it had nothing to do with it), an alarm clock icon appeared under the clock widget and another icon was on the bar, next to the battery and the wifi signal. The one on the desk was indicating a time.. but I had not programmed anything!! .. I couldn't remove these, also cleaning up everything from Clock, cleaning up the cache ... I had to do the hard reset.
Has anyone else experienced this bug? Maybe was there another way to solve it?
Believe me or not.. today the clock icon reappeared but I just discovered the cause.
The News suite app!! It's the news generator from Sony mobile. I use it on every phone I buy, is not bad. I just delete it from the phone and the alarm icon definely disappeared.
Crazy stuff...
