Clock App Has Disappeared - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

My Clock app has disappeared. It's not in my app drawer, it's not listed in Nova Settings when I click on 'hide apps'. It's listed in Titanium Backup, and I can run it from there, but that's the only way and it's kind of a pain. Any way I can get it back?

is it just a widget?

I'm talking about the default Clock app that comes pre-installed. With the stopwatch, timer, etc.

App that changes App names?

is there an app that changes app names? I found "App name editor" but that only changes app names on your "home screen" or "desktop(s)" as i call it. I'd like to change the name in the app screen. for instance "hide my sms" doesnt do me much good if the name implies exactly what its doing. any such app?
I don't know of any app like that, but I would imagine you're going to have to use a 3rd party launcher to be able to edit app names in the app drawer. You may want to check out LauncherPro - it looks very similar to the stock launcher, but lets you customize all sorts of things. One feature is the ability to hide certain apps from showing up in your app drawer at all. Would this solve your problem, and you could still put a link to the app on your homescreen (with a changed name or even without the name, just the icon).

ADW Launcher EX has a edit option which can rename app name & change icon.
Maybe try that.

in the app drawer, or just on the homescreen? I know LauncherPro can do both on the homescreen, don't know about the app drawer.

Haven't found the solution for the app drawer :/

[Q] Arrange apps in App Drawer??

Is there a way to organise apps in the app drawer? It is now just a collection of apps, but I like the idea of a totally clean homescreen (only widgets and dock), and an organised App Drawer.
It doesn't matter how the apps are organised. It can be with folders, different pages, whatever. But it has to be in the App Drawer. Is there an app/launcher/custom ROM that can do that?
Anyone? I know not many people want this, because they organise their apps on the homescreens, and the App Drawer is just a collection of all apps, but as I said, I really like the idea of a homescreen with widgets only, and an organised App Drawer with folders or different pages or whatever.
ADW Launcher has an option to create a catalog to group apps, but everytime you need to change catalogs, you have to press menu, then "choose group".
It´s nice, but it should have a better way to choose between the groups.
All apps organizer is what I use. If you use adw or launcher pro you can make it your app drawer. Works really well.

So..., that just replaces the App Drawer? That's fine to me, but I hope you can hide the 'real' App Drawer then. I still want my app drawer button in the middle + 2 icons on either side in the dockbar, but then the app drawer icon should link to that All Apps Organizer program.

You can set the option in ADW.Launcher so that there are arrows on the left and side of the bottom of the screen when you open the app drawer, then pressing those arrows you can switch the catalogs.
Just found out that Go Launcher EX has folder support. I'm starting to like this launcher more and more! Nobody knows it though, so I couldn't find much information about the folder support in app drawer.

[Q] Does anyone know how to hide app icons in the Drawer?

Hello fellow N5 users~! I am hoping that someone out there knows the solution to my frustration.
Coming from TouchWiz and 3rd party launchers such as Apex and Hololauncher, I'm very used to having the ability to hide app icons inside the app drawer. If I have the apps as shortcuts on my homescreens, dock, and folders, I like hiding the reduntant app icons inside the drawer so that when I do enter the drawer, I don't have to filter through the apps (I have 120 apps installed).
I found some apps that promise to hide apps inside the drawer but they seem to only work by disabling the apps, which leads to app icons in the homescreens, dock, and folders to disappear as well.
So is there a way to hide apps inside the app drawer like we can with Apex?

There is no way to do this with the stock launcher.

[Q] clicking on clock in notification panel

I've just installed Timely, a nice looking clock app.
When clicking on the clock in the navigation panel the default clock app opens.
How can I change that / reset the default app so that it asks me for which app to open?
So far I've tried to clear "default" of the clock app in settings->apps but it is passive. Have tried a few "default cleaner" apps from market as well but with no luck.
Any help is appreciated.

Anyway to bulk move apps from the app drawer to home screen?

Just restored all my apps to a new phone using Titanium but the only drawback to that manoeuvre is all 150 apps are in the app drawer now and I need to drag each shortcut individually to the home screen. Is there a setting to tell Titanium to put shortcuts on the home screen?
Is there anyway now for me to bulk move apps from the app drawer to home screen?
There must be an app, an exposed or play store app that can do this, my phone is rooted - its a Galaxy Note 2 touch wiz 4.42.
For future reference is there anyway to backup my home screen folders and app shortcut setup when moving to a different phone/hardware?
No one?
Did a good search on play store but the only thing I could find was app drawer replacements
Is there any exposed app that can do this?
I have discovered a way using Nova launcher, install nova before restoring apps from titanium and in the settings tell nova to put a shortcut on the home page for newly installed apps. Then when titanium restores the apps a shortcut will be placed on the homescreen for each app, remember that is Novas homescreen not the vanilla launcher of your phone.
I use Nova now so all the homescreen app placements are restored with the app but maybe this may help someone.
