Hello,
does anyone else experiences issues when calling over the internal Loudspeaker? The Person I'm calling with very often doesn't understand me clearly (often rather low Volume and a bit choppy).
But this only happens while calling via Loudspeaker (and mostly after few minutes of calling), as the Loudspeaker uses secondary microphone. Even in the test-menü the recordings of the secondary microphone don't sound as clear as the recordings of primary mic.
This Problem also doesn't just affect the Z3 series (tested with 3 different Z3). Even my girlfriend with her Sony Z1 has the same Problem.
Is there a fix for this or a mod, which switches secondary mic with primary mic in Loudspeaker mode?

When doing a phone call the other person only listen me if using LOUDSPEAKER, if I used the normal calling, the microphone is very low for the others...

I have a Sony Xperia Z3 D6603 with Cyanogenmod installed.
I have the problem that my microphone is not working during calls. When I witch to the speaker the microphone works perfect. Also when I use audio recording applications the microphone does work without any issues.
Is there a workaround for this? I already had this issue with the Sony stock ROM.

This is interesting because I have the opposite problem. During a call (in ear) the phone works fine, it is when I place the call on speaker that the person on the other side cannot hear me.
I have tried the OK Google 'fix' unfortunately, this did not work on my handset.
What seemed to "help" (didn't really fix the problem though) is going into Google Music app > Equalizer > Mic sensitivity > High
While the person on the other end can now hear me, it seems my voice is not too crisp and clear. Apparently I sound a bit muffled.
Hello guys.. My Z5 secondary mic is not working properly.. I just realized it when I did video call with myfriend.. He can barely hear me.. Then I tested it by dialing *#*#7378423#*#*, I can't hear my test voice. But when I speak near the secondary mic I can hear it with very low volume.. So I suspect it is damaged. And I am searching for an app or mod that can completely disable secondary mic and use only first/main mic for every call or video call..

Hi, i am facing a weird issue on my mate 8. The microphone works in call but it doesn't works on loudspeaker mode means the recipient doesn't hear my voice with loudspeaker on. Also the microphone doesn't works with any kind of social media calling like whatsapp and imo.

I recently got one problem with my htc u11. My mic just stopped working, im not sure what is the problem, but its seems like its some software mistake..
I have phone for like 1 yr (got it used), never had any problem, but recently my mic stopped working in cellular calls, camera, and any other app that use it
BUT, on a cellular call, when i switch it to loud speaker, it works? but only on loud speaker. I tried capturing video with rear and front cam, didnt work.. i tried voice record, and didnt work
It only works on a cellular loud speaker call.. but there is one interesing thing, when im recording a video, u can hear sound from mic, but just like first 0.5 sec and then it just stop
Anyone got this problem? Anyone got the solution?

Try a factory reset,or clear data cache in boot menu
