I installed cm13 on my htc one a9. Then I recovered to stock installing RUU file. Now my device shows *unlocked* in bootloader mode.
So can I get OTA update safely now?
When I try to boot into recovery, a small triangle logo in a phone appears.
That's the stock recovery. You should be able to take an OTA.

i use the Hypersensation as ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1302969
does anyone have a clue how i ca fix it so that i can boot again.
i have a NAND Backup on my SD card and on my computer.
EDIT: I managed to get CWM working again by flashing the CWM files again via http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1242942
than i coulld restore my old NAND Backup
You rewrote the recovery partition too, when flashing the RUU.
If you are already on 1.17, then download a CWM and
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
and hopefully after the next reboot you will be able to get in to recovery from bootloader
EDIT: oh, I see you already managed to get a CWM on , glad it worked out
Hi,
2 days earlier, my phone became very slow, so I restarted. After the restart, Phone got hang on green color HTC logo. Before restart, I unlocked the boot loader. before turning the S-OFF my phone got stuck. Now boot nothing. only HTC logo. I went to the bootloader, tried to factory reset and recover from backup. but no result.
So I tried to install custom build rom. but can not update radio image. S-ON still showing. I tried for RUU. But no luck.
Can anyone suggest me, how can I do the S-OFF from bootloader and update the Radio as my phone is not booting to OS at all.?
Thank is advance.
Originally, I had a rooted and unlocked Nexus S 4G running android 2.3 with clock work recovery mod. When the ICS update came I updated and lost root. However, my boot loader is still unlocked, and my recovery seems broken. When I boot into recovery I get the red triangle, but if I hold power and down a menu pops up. The menu asks me if I want to flash an update or wipe data, or reboot.
Today my friends Nexus S 4G got the Jelly Bean update over the air. Will I be able to update to it? Or do I need to relock my bootloader and whatnot?
I tried using the method from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1167819
I was able to reboot into fastboot but nothing happened after that. :/
OTA - Stuck on "Patching system image after verification." for more than one hour :-?
Hi all, i have a german o2 a9 and startet to do the ota update with the downloaded OTA file by loading with adb sideload after i flashed the stock recovery.
The a9 is S-OFF and bootloader unlocked.
Now it for more then an hour, is this normal?
I tried to reboot, but the a9 won`t reboot even after holding power button down for more than 10 seconds?
Any one who can help me please?
Thanks
Edit, figured it out, the recovery image I used was broken. I could restart by holding volume up AND down AND power and then get in download mode to flash the right recovery. After that I could update by OTA.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Phone is a UK HTC One XL Evita on Orange
I used the Windroid tool to unlock the bootloader. That worked fine. Then I used it to flash TWRP and SuperSU. But I can't get TWRP to run. When I choose recovery, the phone just displays one of two splash screens (One is a phone with two arrows in a circle. Other is HTC warning- HTC internal development build, not for distribution). Then the phone reboots, so there is no access to recovery.
I tried loading CWM from Rom Manager, but that fails too.
(I'm just trying to root it. Should be easy. It's not)
Edit : relax I'm there. I installed CWM via fastboot, which has allowed me to install SuperSU. So I appear to be rooted at last.
So-do I now need S-Off?
