theme got updated to support nougat, now with S8 influence.
PLEASE REMOVE COMPLETELY OLD VERSION IF YOU HAVE ANY BEFORE INSTALLING THIS. The newest version is "0terpsichora_N_RC3. apk" and "0terpsichora_N_RC3_lightnotif"
PLEASE INSTALL ONLY ONE, you cannot install both at the same time. If your rooted and have means to change title text color on notification or just can bear with the dark one use the ..RC3.apk, if you're not rooted and want a bugless theme use the ..RC3_lightnotif.apk one.

Still bugged (dark colored on 3rd party apps) notification title text (need help on this, or ask rom developers to support dark notification template on their ROMs) please report any miscolored, bugs or give bright ideas to improve this. thanks for using, enjoy and please atleast let me know if you kang any part of this theme.
INSTALLATION for rooted devices (you should do all this before 5min trial ends) :
-install and apply theme
-go fast to your root file manager and navigate:
-root/data/overlays/preferences folder
-delete all its contents (7files) not the actual preferences folder.
-then navigate to:
-root/data/overlays/jsonfiles
-from there, CUT and paste the contents (1file) of trialjson folder to inside of userjson folder.
-restart phone and reapply theme.
reserve for Q/A

Very well made theme, liked everything especially the tinted backdrop in settings and keyboard. Just had a question of the icon size. They ate too big and look very old style or Android Kitkat style. Wish they were a bit smaller and sleek. Thank you

those icons are Grace UX icons mate, I just reduced the roundness of the original. as for the sizes yeah I think it's kinda big if you use 4x4 grid on homescreen try to use 5x5 and see.. (thanks for input, I will try with smaller icons for system apps and the rest and make an update )

Can you fix the bugs and make more themes like these? Btw i think the blue sym, smiley, enter and back button on the keyboard isn't that nice. Can you make it grey. And the keyboard swipe color too

nope there is a way for non rooted devices, but I won't tell how to do it, there's a lot of tutorials on this forum already.

mate i do not need to tell me how, thanks for your hard work.....you will be great if you can save the theme in wqhd and not fhd resolution!!!!!
Great theme but it is a shame to have to use a 3rd party unknown chinese app that needs to have total control of your device just to run the theme. I really liked the theme but any app like package disabler asking for such permissions is beyond my security concerns. Thank you a lot for the theme, truly a great piece.
I'm having an issue with theme being in trial mode, can only use it for 5 minutes.
By the way, really nice theme, I love it!

I made the Theme even before the Theme Editor is released so I just used the Olympic theme as my base, that one having a fhd resolution only. I tried to migrate my work to the Theme editor and try the wqhd resolution but it looks weird, so I just go with the fhd again sorry.

that's also a bummer, I got rejected as a theme designer @samsung So no chance that you will see this theme on the Store. unless you root your device you have to go with that disabler app if you like to use this.

root guys root. you'll never turning back once rooted. there's also a perk if you manage to install this properly with root method as I also kinda theme the Theme Store app.

cant do it on the theme editor so unpack/decompile the theme apk bro, look on assests folder, the one apk with ..aodservice in it, also unpack it. compare yours with mine to modify to your liking, then on your aodservice apk look to the values folder and edit your public.xml delete all id's. just repack/recompile your aodservice apk and put it again on your theme package. then recompile your theme package and sign it. (seems complicated if your not familiar with old school themeing, but if you know what I'm talking about, its very easy )

I totally forgot about that,Ö I think there's a bug on the editor that you released because on the output apk, when I inspect it there is no ..inCallui on the asset folder.. I'll fix it, give me time, I'll make it great with note7 icons also on the next update with smaller icons and camera Ala note 7.
*and I think we are really getting near on receiving Grace UX, because that theme editor has so much stuff from Grace UX. little by little they're removing stuff from old touchwiz.

I'm just curious l can you post a screenshot with big icons you're talking about? because it's just the default sizes. I just reduced the roundness of the original grace icons (even with the 3rd party apps)

Edit: moving files from trialson to userson doesn't seem to work for this theme, it remains trial and after 5 minutes I can't use it. Someone with a solution to this maybe? TIA

Hey,got a quick question: I'm trying to install the red icons with better cut - There's a few that won't let me change them, like messages, people,and camera...says "the linked program is no longer installed on your phone" Any ideas of how I can get them to change? It will create the icon,but when I press it, that's the message I get. It's not the red icons, because it'll do it with any icon or pic I try. It has something to do with the particular app itself... any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Try using Folder Organizer Lite from the Market and see if it can change the icons.

File organizer works awesome, still can't change the messages icon tho... it changes for a sec,bet immediately switches back to default...all the others worked - needed full version of the app to add them to my homescreen,but no biggie,only $1.25,and worth it. Any ideas why the messages app can't be changed? Does it need to be renamed or something of the sort? Sorry to hijack your thread JB... Thanks a lot!

The more red thread is more of a mix and match smorgasbord... plus this theme is pretty much completely my own work. I literally redrew a few hundred .9 pngs...
I like cubanaso's red theme but i wanted something that blended with stock sense a little bit more. The other thread will remain open for parts and this one will be maintained for Sense builds.

Hey! First off, love your theme's! Second I had been using the old red framework theme, and currently just loaded your new red one from here. My question is why didn't you add in the same "phone bar" (not sure the technical term for it) from the old red one to the new one? Just curious cause I thought it looked cooler

Something i noticed in the pmf theme
the Mail icon, the word "mail" is lower than the rest of the other icons text, so if its on the bottom row of a screen the word mail bottom half is cut off

Ok, so I'm rockin' the PMF 1.1 ROM,with your awesome red theme for it - I love it! The one thing I noticed,the google search widget isn't skinned. Wondering if you plan on skinning that out? Also, I have pandora,and wondering if it's possible if you could skin that widget out as well? No biggie-just curious. Thanks a lot!
i took help from dark lestat's modified framework-res.apk
and created a really cool theme.
nexus one look.
though more customization coming, and a new theme for gingerbread coming.
bugs: 1. extar space ahead of some boxes.,
2. the download strip bug of dark lestat has also been solved
just try it....
the status bar is absolutely like nexus one with all those icons.
i dont know how to take screenshot.

i havent made these icons.. and these are default ones from htc. i guess.
i am changing many things right now. it had bugs.. lol
the background had to be black coz the icons are white, and in the white statusbar they wont be visible then...

the reason why it is trial is because i'm doing in unofficially
samsung rejected my request for 3 times
so i started making themes unofficially.
you can make it permanent by using methods mentioned in the OP

The above idea at the Op doesnt work for me do you have alternative ways for it to work for me... Package disabler says my phone is rooted so it cant work and galaxyxmod is comaptible with s7 only i am on note 7 port on Note 3

it's just that i made it unofficially so it appears in themes as trial.
It constantly switches back to normal touchwiz theme, what should I do.
What I did was that, i installed the given apk and then went to the theme store and clicked on free trial, it then changed my theme to samoled dark green theme, and then, after few minutes, it switched back to the stock touchwiz theme.
What should I do???

I was wondering if there was a way to change the plugin charging animation (while the phone is on)? Does anyone know where in the root directory it is? Are there premade animations in a thread that I have missed?

I was wondering if there was a way to change the plugin charging animation (while the phone is on)? Does anyone know where in the root directory it is? Are there premade animations in a thread that I have missed?

Animation for when you plug device in and when using wireless charging can be changed via Samsung theme. Custom made obviously, not anything that can be obtained from the theme store.

Sorry, if i'm missing something here, but what do you mean by "can be changed via Samsung theme" even though nothing can be obtained from the theme store? So where can I find custom animations (directory in phone and XDA thread?)?

Themes obtained through Samsung theme store do not modify any of those types of elements, you will only find custom themes do this. Of which you can find with a little searching here in xda and other sites. BoCaTRoM, Eladios, Venom, and many others have great themes.
Now to more directly answer your original question, if you have an animation in qmg format or all png images you want to use for charging animation then you can take a theme you like and add it to drawable folder inside lock.apk within theme container file. Yoblue theme here on xda has a similar effect you might like for charging animations.
O if you have a theme you're using and want to add this then send it to me and I can modify for you.

Yeah, the themes are nice, but I like my theme to be simpler than alot of them. The one I currently use is [minu] Baby Red from the theme store and I'm very happy with it. I literally just want to make the charging animation red instead of blue. How would I find the apk file to send if its from the theme store?
While I'm on the topic of themes, is there a way to make the icons that come with a theme become the icons of an icon pack that I use (both form theme store - I use the "pixel matte" theme with frames version)? Simply to save time when I test other themes.

At one time you could extract themes via apk extractor but that is no longer possible. There is a tool that will allow you to use specific elements of a theme but that's only for rooted devices. If it is from theme store you can likely find that icon pack itself there but if not you'd have to find someone who can get the theme apk itself and extract app icons apk.
I wasn't able to find that theme online like many others but I'll look a few other places an see what I can do. Just to clarify are you are talking about battery icon at top right or the animation that comes up briefly when you first plug device in/set on wireless charger?
If it's the first then that's super easy and that overlay already exists. If it's not then I'll put together something you can install that might work for you.

I just checked the theme store to make sure they were there:
Theme: [MINU] Baby RedBlack
Icons: Pixel Matte w/ backgrounds (w/BG in some labels) - It's a paid one - but I'm sure you would know how to get round that
(having the icons that I use as part of the theme would be convenient for me too)
To clarify, I'm talking about the ripple/ shockwave that comes out of the bottom of the phone when I plug in. I wanted to make it red. Maybe a solid material red expanding semicircle could be cool? (dont know how much one can actually change this)
If you could put something together for me that would be awesome. . But no rush or stress if you dont have time, too much effort etc. we both know its something quite minor haha. Just thought it would be a cool touch to my red and black theme on my phone. Just attached a few screenshots of my theming so you can see why I think a red animation would be cool, also to help find shade of red.

does any one know what apk it is located in used to be in systum ui but i cant find it on samsung S9+ 9pie trying to change it in my substratum theme thanks
