I see this option under "phone info" called "turn on LTE Ram dump." Any idea what this is?

On Moto G XT1032 GB Retail is working with this code. Does anyone know that is Phone info -> Set preffered network type: GSM Auto (PRL) ??

My G is from german amazon (XT1032) and the code works on the original stock and also after its update. Today I have flashed Global GSM US retail ROM just to try if I wouldn't be lucky enough to catch the Kitkat update. Well I wasn't but as a side-effect I confirmed that everything works (there was a debate on it in another thread) AND the code does not, even if the US version is also XT1032. So it depends on what exact version is it. Nevermind, there are still other options how to get to that settings, just wanted to add info.

Works fine on my Retail XT1032.

Has anyone tried setting it to lte only mode on the off chance it might work?

tested this key combination and it works fine here, XT1032 bought from Amazon.de (8GB version)

and I see some people's phone can show their carrier on notification bar, how cando that? although I do not that design

I don't have these apk's. I put the code but I can't open anything. Someone can share these apk´s?

I bought G Flex 2 H959 and failed to connect 4G network.

I want to use hidden menu but I couldn't fid right number.
(I tried 959 but failed)
Anyone please tell me how to get into hidden menu?

This code working on G2/G3 it should work on Flex also.

Yes, exactly. Network is restricted to WCDMA only

I'm looking at buying the H959 32gb version to use in the UK. Does anyone know if it will work on Vodafone UK 4G?
About 12 months ago I purchased a 32gb LG G2 from overseas and initially it didn't work on UK 4G networks. I managed to temporarily get it to connect to 4G using the hidden menu although it would reset if I ever rebooted the phone. I eventually flashed The Germany open software onto it and it worked on 4G perfectly.
I can't seem to find any answers on this, any help would be appreciated.

I'm bumping this thread in hope that somebody discovered what is the hidden menu on lg g flex 2. I got one from ATT and i want to disable KnockON/KnockOFF feature. On G3 it was possible with 3845#*modelnumber, but not on ATT G Flex 2.

I ended up using shortcut master

Since update to 5.1.1 works this code in dialer 277634#*#

I got the same problem as OP
anybody know how i can get it working, its supposed to be a unlocked version but it just doesn't want to connect to lte at all (even tho it should have the bands needed for my provider)

Hey bro sorry for bothering... But can u tell me did u generated a code for jio sim on custom rom or stock?
I m using RR and i downloaded myjio app but cant see any option to generate a code?

U need to download v3.2.05 of myjio app then open it and install all 10 apps. Then turn your data off. Fcthe myjio app then open it and it will say no connection. U will get a button syaing get jio sim. Just turn on your net quickly and then press that button. Fill your details and viola u will get thw code. Then u know what to do.
I generated the code in cm13. After activating sim i will revert to stock for volte. I cant revert now because i have downloaded all the apps and got the code. It will be erased and i will not be able to show anything to the store.

Well u need to uninstall all the apps first then download myjio v3.2.05 for gplay. Then install all the apps. U can do this in any rom. Then follow the steps i told u. But i have accidentally done this on cm13 so i do t wanna take risk losing my code?. After getting and activating the sim i will revert. U can revert to stock first and do the steps too. It's your wish. On other roms u will not able to use volte thats it.

When you activate the sim gets locked to the IMEI on which it was activated....
So if you change phones, or even the sim slot, you will lose the UNLIMITED offers...
Yes, technically you will be able to use it,, but practically that will not happen as you cannot
make calls using the sim in any other phone or other sim slot..... and since reliance jio have not
launced commercially you cannot make calls using NORMAL 4 g also in any other phone / sim slot...
It has to be done through the sim slot that it was activated in.....
After they launch commercially then you can use it in other phones /....

Ohk... Thanks but i asked about the ROM. I am going to use same Moto g3. I have dual sim model. So how can i know which sim imei is detected while generating a code and sim activation?

If you put in 1st sim, then imei of that sim will be detected... i am using Turbo Edition of G3 so i know i can use in both sims, and whichever sim i use that sim would be locked... don't know if G3 has volte in 2nd sim...

i got a jio sim which cover is orange, i heard in some sites that sims issued in orange cover only work on selected devices by reliance jio and sims issued in white cover work in any devices. so please tell me anyone who got jio sim in orange packed cover working in their moto g3 handsets or not??

All Jio sims are having orange cover which contains sim card and documents etc etc... The sim itself is red colour like airtel sim...
And there is NO WHITE sim...

You dont know about ahmedabad bro... Here peoples have to wait for 6-7 hrs... Everyday they only give 20 sims saying that they only get 20 sims daily. and i cant stay in line... :silly:

volte calling is not going aftr nougat update

After updating to nougat on bln-l22 volte calling on jio sim is not connecting no calls could be made wheras am able to use internet without any issue any folks out there facing same kindly help me out

Check with jio if nougat update is volte enabled from their side

Ya it helped but another issue is app its always asking me to. Connected on 4g to place call or recieve call that's like when I connect the WiFi and tried to call its not getting through

while using jio app you should always enable mobile data inorder to receive and make calls.
this is because currently your device has only LTE/4G support as per app detection but not Volte support.

I phone 6 works only with lte without app for 4g am using it technically band width are same so its not logical to conclude volte needed to function for the device
If lte is sufficient then it should work so did it functioned well when it was on emui 4

even you consider technically the functioning of IOS and Android are way different while handling applications.And both has different hardware.
In EMUI you might have Volte support but after update it might have locked Indian LTE band frequencies or app has compatability issues or try to reset apn settings and assign them manually.
By the way are you able to make calls after enabling mobile data?
did you install other region ROM?

what is the build number do you have?
I doubt you installed different region ROM which dont have volte support.

How do you enable VoLTE in OnePlus 7?

My first phone, I'm not able to get that VoLTE symbol when using mobile data.
Is there a way to activate it

Maybe edit your post and say which network/country you're on. Can't help much otherwise. In the US, ATT doesn't provision it.

Settings>wifi and internet>sim and network >select your sim >volte
