How to access apps/home screen during phone call? - T-Mobile LG G5 Questions & Answers

I'm on Autoprime's 10i rooted ROM, Xposed installed with gravitybox and g4 tweaksbox. When I am on an active phone call, the nav bar is grayed out and I can't access my home screen or apps. As soon as the other person answers my call, the only way I can get to app access while still on active call is to hit menu button, select contacts, and then the nav bar buttons are illuminated and accessible again. I never had this issue before on my g3, g4, or v10. Anyone have a fix or did I screw something up with the xposed settings? Thanks for the help! :good:
Forgot to mention that I it won't even let me drag down my notification status bar, just does nothing at all when I drag down on it. Included a screen shot showing the inaccessible nav bar when the call is dialing.

How to disable the Tap Notification Bar to Lock Screen/Open Task Manager ?

EDIT: Tap on the left do open Recently Apps. Sorry!
Hi im the user of Samsung Galaxy S3 Korea LTE (E210L) using DA Rom V3 (Note 4 UI).
I just flashed my new rom, so im having this problem.
How to Disable the Tap on the Right of Notification to Lock Screen and on the left to open Recently Apps ?
Hold on the Right also open Phone Options (Power Off / Restart menu)
I tap on the right of the notification bar, and that area is fade on, more Fade-White color than other area, its a small rectangle area. Then, it lock the screen.
I don't know if it has been scripted to my rom or not, i haven't found any app in my phone can do that, even Hidden App.
I have searched Google, with any possible word, haven't found anything.
Tap Notification to Turn Off Screen, Fade, there is something and someway to make it could be added!
Anyone can disable this ? My Power Button haven't broken and i don't want tap to lock screen.
Thank you!
Help me please

[PX5] [Mayalysk] Notification bar icons

Hi. Recently i have installed the PX5 firmare from Mayalysk.
Everything runs perfect as it should.
The only think that is annoyning are the notification icons (download arrows etc) that apear rundom on the top of the Screen.
Is there anyway to make then disappear? I've searched evrywhere in the settings but i couldnt find anything.
That's not buttons. It's notifications, slide down from the top and remove them by swiping them left or right
I didnt mention buttons. I talk about icons. Notifications.
Sliding down the top of the screen shows the menu (Wifi, airplane mode, Brifgtness etc )and no the notifications...
I cant find a way to get rid of them.
Any application perhaps?

SINGLE TAP to Answer Calls help???? How to REMOVE assistant menu completly?

Looking for HELP with a feature. Im comming from the s10 plus. I always used the function TAP to Swipe feature which is used for tapping to answer phone calls instead of sliding to answer. Its an option in the assistant menu. If you go to settings> accessibility> interaction and dexterity> assistant menu on> single tap to swipe… it can be turned on. But the problem is you cant get rid of the menu completly. On the s10 plus we was able to do this and hide it. Only option to hide it is slightly as an edge option.
Anyone know how to get rid of it completly while still allowing tap to swipe for answering phone calls?
I read your question over and over and looked at your screenshots and I really cannot work out what you mean.

Instead of swiping to answer phone calls you can just tap the answer button. Its activated thru the assisted menu. But when you activate it… it leaves a circle menu on the screen that you can put anywhere on the screen. There is an option to move it to the edge panel. You can see it on the picturr here i have it in the top right corner. On my s10 plus you can completly hide it while still being able to tap amd answer phone calls instead of sliding it to answer. Its called SINGLE TAP TO SWIPE.
OK, I am with you now.
I just checked on my Note 10+ and it's the same.
You can however hide the panel by dragging it to the top of the screen to the X that appears, this places the menu in the notification area, so although it cannot be hidden completely at least it no longer blocks your screen.
Once in the notification area, if you tap and hold the notification and then the gear icon, you can minimise it further there.
Hope this helps somewhat!

Its the same on the s10 plus which is what i am comming from. Youll get a accessability notification in the pull down bar but that can also be illiminated. On the note 20 ultra however when you hold down on the panel… there is no hide option. The only option im seeing is to put it on the edge panel… which is better but you can still see it.
I have the Note 10+ and use the Assistant Menu button to use single tap to answer calls. I could hide the button by holding and dragging it to the top of the home screen and releasing it when I see the X. Worked great. I recently updated my phone and it now has One UI 2.5. I cannot now hide the Assistant Menu button when I drag it to the top. Looks like the hide function has been removed. I don't like this at all. I don't like having to move the button around the screen to avoid interference with text, graphics, games, etc. Samsung needs to correct this ASAP!
You can either purchase "package disabler pro" and disable the accessibility app. Or you can go to settings>apps>all apps> scroll to accessibility then force stop the app and clear cache. It will stay hidden until you restart the phone. Make sure you have the single tap setting enabled first before you do this

Question Gestures are "enabled" during calls picked up without unlocking, can't unlock and I need to bring down the notification shade to use the phone.

I'm on 12.0.6.0 Global, I don't really know if it happened on 12.0.4.0.
I have Nova installed and wanted to use gesture navigation, but it defaults to 3 button navigation. So I installed FNG and have borders which respond to gestures even while having 3 button navigation. Up to that point, everything seems normal.
But I've noticed that while receiving calls with a locked phone, if I swipe to answer the 3 button navigation is not there and the gesture navigation bar shows up. No gesture works, and unlocking with fingerprint doesn't work. What I had to do was pull down the notification shade, press the settings gest and then unlock.
Has anyone gone through something similar?

Multitouch issue/disable with the status/notification bar?

Hello. So i made the switch to the S10e and i've been running into this issue where if i accidentally hold my phone with my finger just touching the selfie camera (or any part of the status/notification bar at the top of the screen), any and all other touch inputs just get disabled.
Any solutions to this? I assume Android thinks i'm going to pull it down and disables every other touch or something, but is there an option not to do that but still keep the draggable status bar? This also happens in all apps and the home screen/apps etc. no matter the screen.
Activating Show Taps in developer shows that the OS DOES see both my taps, the status bar and anything else, just that the software-side blocks other inputs once that initial status bar touch is seen and still active. It does NOT happen with the back/home/apps bar or generally anywhere else. I have tried making sure Nova launcher isn't doing anything. Tried Accidental touch protection On and Off and a host of other settings. Confirmed this is a status bar issue with hiding it in Samsung Internet and repeating the test.
Tried EdgeTouch with NiceLock but it only really helps for the sides which aren't really my issue.
Rarely this sometimes happens with stuff on screen too in the OS itself and in apps. Usually it's with triggering a function like holding the phone with touching the left hand of the screen and accidentally 'dragging' a menu' into view a few pixels, and then that disables all other input until it's gone. But that's fine since it's very rare. It's more more often than the status/notification bar is my main issue.

Do you use a case? That's what help'd me with accidental screen touches. An "ultra slim" case was all it took for me. Hope you find what works for you.
I am really against cases, as i really want a compact fone, and there are extremely few which get launched with AMOLED nowdays. I'd rather solve this via software.
