[Completed] i need help with I9505 SIM card removed issue - XDA Assist

I bought a used s4 a few months ago and every now and then (approximately two times a day) it says sim card removed and i need to reboot. i installed CM13 thinking it was a software problem, but it didn't work. I read that it has something to do with the SD Card so i went back to stock and removed my SD card, and the problem stopped, for a month the phone worked fine. But i wanted to use a custom rom so i used the "ear plug foam" method (opening the phone and placing a piece of foam above the sd card tray to put pressure on it) and then i installed CM13 again and the problem returned even without the SD card. I really don't want to go back to stock again so can someone please help.

[Q] Curious Flashing (and sdcard?) problem!

Hey guys,
I have a problem, which i couldn't solve using the search. Sorry if i was too stupid to search at all
The thing is this:
I have a Nexus S I9020T which i bought as "broken"
It is stuck at the Google logo with the open lock. I thought i could save that device easily but i can't get that thing to work again.
At first: I still have my first android phone here: a Milestone. I had it for a year now and i would say that i flashed pretty much everything to that device. So i know a thing or two about android and flashing. But i have never had a nexus s in my hands before.
So i did this:
I Opened the Bootloader -> success
I flashed a few different CWM recovery -> also no problem here
I flashed a SU_2.3.6.1 which was already on the sdcard and it flashed without an error
I tried to delete all the files of the previous uswer -> at first I could delete all but as soon as i unmount and mount the usb storage, everything is back to the way it was. Means I can't delete or write anything onto the sdcard
Sometimes i have luck and i can write a .zip file to the card but as soon as I try to flash the ROM CWM says : e:can't open /sdcard/***.zip (bad)
so i know, that sometimes the zip files is just... bad. So i downloaded at least 10 different roms. Always the same problem.
I can'T format the SDcard, at every new mount, everything is back to how it was when i got the phone.
I tried to flash with Odin. But the only thing that changed was that i lost the recovery. So i flashed it new and here i am still stuck with that thing
Odin gets stuck while flashing with som PK[][][] thing -> screenshot. Doesn't seem to get further.. so flashin failed... any ideas?
So my question is:
Is there a problem with the SD card?
Is there just a problem with drivers?
Can My Phone be repaired?
Please you guys help me with your knowledge.
I am living in germany and the nexus is bought in the USW at bestbuy in december 2010. Does someone know how the warranty thing is handled for such a scenario?
Thanks a lot guys for even reading my problem.

[Q] Blu One M Sim issues.

I followed instructions to flash my one m using roms here, through trial and error i found a couple that worked but i ended up just going with cyanogenmod because it was familiar. when i booted it up i had an issue with my camera and micro sd, it said i didn't have storage/sd and the camera would fc, the gallery as well. the file manager seemed to access everything just fine though. i tried second party cameras/galleries to the same effect. so w/e my phone worked it didn't bug me too much at first...
then i noticed there were updates for the rom so i flashed the latest one and suddenly i needed to unlock my sim. that had been referenced in a thread here so based on that thread i entered 12345678 and wham it locked. i tried flashing a kitkat rom and the the stock blu one m rom here and neither helped. i took it to my metro store and they said i needed a new sim so i bought one and no dice. it won't even let me access the sim settings. it also doesn't show my imei anywhere in the phone info anymore.
i'm not really sure what to do at this point. i made a few backups at one point but i think i accidentally deleted them because i am super smart....

[Completed] Need to Flash ROM to Xiaomi Mi5. Every time I get freezing issues

Hello. This looks like the place I can get the best help.
Got a Xiaomi Mi5 last week - cheap and very cheerful. Having read online about possible fake roms and bloatware I thought the safest option would be to load the official stable rom to be safe.
Attempt 1
Following the MIUI guidance I downloaded the ROM, copied it to my phone in Windows explorer and then used the MIUI updater tool within the phone to load the new ROM.
http://en.miui.com/a-232.html
Everything went swimmingly for a couple of hours, but then the phone began crashing.
Attempt 2
By this stage I realised the above method was no longer available to me. So I got unlocking privalidges, unlocked my phone. Then, using MiFlash I flashed the latest ROM to the phone. Now the crashing problems happen within about a minute. It actually froze the screen first time round so I did it again.
Added fun issue - left my phone on overnight to charge. And it had stopped charging at 58%.
Attempt 3
Downloaded the EU MIUI Rom. Accessed TWRP in my phone and tried to use it to wipe and install. Not sure the wipes were fully effective - got a lot of red writing. And when I went to install the new ROM the internal storage was 0MB.
Had a look at guidance, and I forget what I did, but was finally able to see the zip file on my phone through TWRP. I got the "7" error. Have read how to fix this but seems too risky considering whats gone before.
Desired solution
I would just like any ROM on my phone which works. Don't really care which, I have followed each guide religiously. It may well just be a faulty phone but I don't want to send it back to China without ruling out the problem being me screwing with the software. Especially as I assume i've technically voided warranty... (I can reload Global Developer and relock it though so have hidden it pretty well. Only difference I can tell is that I now get a menu in recovery mode when before I got instruction to go to PCsuite).
Also - I seem to remember there originally being a downloaded_rom file in the internal memory which is no longer there. If im sending it back do I need to recreate one to hide my activity?
Appreciate any advice.

Greetings and welcome to assist. Xiaomi phones are encrypted by default so you need to wipe your phone in fastboot to access your storage again and you also need to flash latest su zip to disable dm verity. That should clear you internal memory issues and allow you to flash a zip through twrp
Good Luck

No Sim / Network Detected

Installed a new battery and screen, and since then sim card is not detected on Pixel. Sim works fine in other devices, just not being recognized by the pixel. IMEI number also does not show up in the system.
Any ideas on how I might have jacked something up installing the new battery and/or screen. Other than that phone seems to run fine. I've flashed a few different roms and stock back onto the device, with success, but still Sim is not recognized.
Desperate for any help with this.

I had this error updating to Android Pie. I found and posted an updated fix in the Pixel forums; if you are on the latest Pie, extract the Modem.img file and just reflash that file; fixed it for me. Good luck.

I had this error too, what can I do?

Sim card randomly undetected after installing root on Moto G30.

Had phone for a few days before rooting and my sim card worked flawlessly. I rooted and a about half and hour - an hour later, all of a sudden my sim card stopped working, as in, the phone didn't detect that there was anything in the sim slot, at all. I tried rebooting and then it worked again for a bit. But then I noticed that it stopped working, again. This time the problem wasn't fixed after rebooting, I tried shutting it down, moving it to the secondary sim card slot, etc ,etc. But the problem managed to fix itself after I shut the phone down completely, removed the sim card, put it in my old phone, put it back into the g30 and start up again. Not sure if taking those specific steps caused my sim card to start working again but as I'm writing this now my sim card is working properly (4G, Volte, etc) but I am pretty sure its going to fail again. I'm not sure if this is because of root or just a coincidence but if it happens again ill unroot and see what happens. Weird glitch. I had Viper4android and magiskhide props config installed. but I doubt that's the reason because after disabling both of them and restarting, my phone still didn't detect a sim card. Keep in mind I haven't installed any custom rom I simply rooted my device I'm still on stock firmware, everything's stock.
Any suggestions??
Once you rooted a phone's Stock ROM - by whatever method - this Android OS no longer can be called "Stock ROM" because it got tampered, means it got converted to a Custom ROM.
