Camera and Gallery Fix [CyanogenMod 11/12.1/13] Update

All Credits goes to M132 and CyanogenMod
jflte devices Only !
For "Smooth Video Recorder" : please choose "30 fps" in the framerate options.
Now it's super fast on video recording (in low light also !!!).
Update : add missing library (filters) and script modification. Please install from recovery, don't unzip and copy files. The script must remove some files during installation !
Update 1 : "Shutter Button" fixed
Update 2 : old and new shutter button availables
Update 3 : New Build for CM12.1

Just really wish it works on carbon.
It's not exactly a crash.
Picture is taken, but camera force closed,,, so had to open it again to take next picture

I have made a flashable zip with their original apk with some tweaks added in : bools, media_profiles.xml and some HW libs.
May be CyanogenMod team can use this in the future to make "a smooth video recorder" on jf devices (please for this, choose "30 fps" in the framerate options).

I have the same problem. The original camera fix was buggy but better -- it would allow for recording of video but taking a still image would crash the app.
If you want I can post a link to the original somewhere. Of course, a working version of this fix would be best; I've had to revert to a deodexed (sp?) stock rom just to get the camera functionality back. I really miss CM.

It's working here on the the latest nightly (21-08-2014).
Please install from recovery. Don't unzip and copy files, it will not work like this ! There is a script to remove some files during installation.

Actually, I think I need to apologize. I'm pretty sure that I'm using the wrong phone; it's a jfltetmo (t-mobile) device, not jflte. My bad.

Thanks for your work. But I also get the "Can't connect to camera" error. I clean flashed the 08-21 nightly CM11 and 6-6 gapps, then reboot and set up rom. Then flash the camera fix. But no luck.
I'm on jfltetmo device. I use TWRP 2.7.1.0. Wish this would work. The choppy video camera seems to be in all non touchwiz roms. Even in GPE edition. I'd be upset if I bought a GPE and out of the box it produced these poor videos.

Please, can you make a version for GE Rom? Thanks for your work marouane80.

Music player keeps crashing when u go in settings

Camera app also closes if u select hdr and click a pic .

No one facing issues like u.
Try reinstalling the rom from recovery.
Please format system and data chache and delvic chache.

Thanx for the great rom avi .It is very smooth
Tried again installed the rom twice after cleaning still getting the same problems of camera and music and also now the gps isint working tried with sygic and google maps with only gps support

Try with other applications & GPS is working for me...but i must say it is ROYAL ROM so far i tried....Comparing with all the ROM with some bugs (Other then Samsung Octan & HTC M8 KK)

but camera only showing 8mp changed the preview size to fullscreen but in fs it showing only 6mp how to change this to 13mp
and hdr mode is also not working installed google camera and it is also showing only 8mp plz help me with this

Please try using lenovo camera from here

or copy this file in system/app folder using root explorer

[Q] How can i fix camcorder and flash bug after custom rom.

I am using custum rom(galaxy pure based on jelly bean) which i flashed few days back using this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2566113
Few problems i am facing is camcorder is not working and few bugs in flash light not working normally (e:g not working while using camera)
Is there anyway i can get them working again normally.
Also , I can see sometimes that there is problem of screen resolution (dpi) .Like the text and button got overlap in notification of music player.
So .changing the dpi of screen will help me to solve it ? If yes then to which value should I set it. That will enhance the display .
ps: device is galaxy ace plus gt-s7500

for the camcorder you can download videocam illusion from playstore....in fact the native camcorder doesn't work.....whereas to fix flashlight you can use this xposed module http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/xposed-flashlight-fixer-fix-devices-t2867267

i tried what you said. But viceocamillusion does not let you save the videos. Atleast in my case. Whenever i take a video and quit this app then look for that video in my sd card i couldn't found it .
Also the xposed module didnt helped me either. Anywas a used a torch app made by same dev. It helped me for the flash problem but still it doesnot work with my camera.

you could try to install CM11 based on kitkat 4.4.4 by Liam D....at the moment I have installed it and is very good....by installing beta2 and the fix you don't need to install the module xposed to use the flashlight....then you can install videocam illusion to use camcorder....

The only thing is not working is the FM radio, I reboot the phone it workeds but got bugged it means the radio can be heared in speakers and in headphones at the same time.
Other issue is with link2sd, it takes too long when you enter to storage info. And a strange overheathig started from no were, beside that everything is fine.

i cant mout usb is it again for me only

until now the rom is 5 stars

hahaha i m trying all bugs i dont knơw evẻything is working fine for me i have tried that missing app bug after moving to sd card....i have tried otg...i mean everything is working...i have tested this ( as u know) alot buy i will take a look at it again now i tried my best to makw this rom more stable

only problem i face is my vpn is not working :!

if you dont believe i can send you a video proof
and in cm...by default no mount option available in storage for usb in some builds but you can download stick mount app from playstore and it is working

Bro i m having no problem regard your issue...how can i fix it...
hahaha you can remove that keyboard and its not an indian keyborad i use it as it has many got skins and take less resources

I have same problem. if remove and remount sd card the apps will now show again as installed.
Its the only issue so Far.
I believe the problem when we boot the phone is that all initializes before searching apps in Sd card. Maybe some tuning on kernel settings help delaying boot until search sd card??

Just reporting, new Mokee available on the official site, it's an experimental build for now, i've already tried it.
It use an old 3.18.24 kernel, camera rec. doesn't work (only with Footej camera), no other bugs (in my try).

Fingerprint scanner works fine for me (since first EXPERIMENTAL), i can't add this is Bugs.
For me works (FPC), maybe you have issues on Goodix.

My FP working

Great news, will run it tonight.

I had problems with fingerprint too, it stopped working and it disappeared from the security settings.
After a reboot it came back and it is now working fine.

I'm using this rom (09/11 nightly), everything is running very well, no fingerprint problems for me. But battery performance is bad i think. This rom has battery drain i guess, does anybody know about this? And vibration sensitivity is very low, how can i fix it?

Wait for updates, Nightly mokee update every day.

So far so good.
Will report battery tomorrow.
Flashed on a completely clean (formatted) device.

Lost 4% overnight.
