It works great to me, the case and email updates. I wasn't sure how much I would like the case with it being open at the top and bottom, but it is surprisingly made really well, especially for how cheap it was. I would buy another very quickly.
As far as email updates, I get them the moment they hit my computer most of the time so I don't have the same issue.
We got the "AG Findings Purple Ballistic Smooth Gell Case" they were selling at the USA AT&T store. Its a nylon rubbery thing with 4 sets of different coloured drop-protection corners you can swap out. It has cutouts in all the right spots and seems to work well. At $30 list its way overpriced, but for the $15 we paid, its not that bad. Likely better quality than the $5 amazon/ebay stuff out there.

Ordered my SM-910C Note 4 on Friday. Bought overnight shipping. It will arrive sometime today. Looked hard at dozens of cases on eBay and a few on YouTube on Saturday. Even though this case looks chunky, the phone itself will probably feel huge in lady hands, so I bought it. The case shipped from Maryland and believe it or not, it arrived in my morning mail. Love this case. My fingers will have to stretch but it looks and feels like a tank ... I won't have to worry about whether or not it will protect my Note. Besides the size, just know, this case os HEAVY even without the phone in it. I don't care though. diane

do you have a Verizon phone? The pictures they posted online only show one hole position and with the change in Verizon Note 4 microphones I am curious if they support that.

I don't have the Verizon phone.
I'm also have two love mei cases from 2014,yeah it surely heavy even without the Note.Firstly have one from eBay,disappoint that the glass comes broken and wait the replacement glass from seller and it never comes until now,if someone of a same experience from eBay seller? Again ordered from lovemeicases.com and get the case shortly as order confirmed and have it for protection all the way, firstly I'm hanging between love mei and lunatik and now come to a conclusion that the love mei case is a reliable one indeed if you don't care too much the bulky,for the case don't effect the operation experience as expected,let alone the extreme protection performance,the only thing you may care is going to buy from verified seller,anyway,purchase from eBay seller is not a pretty experience indeed....good luck!

Looks really nice imo. Love the minimalism and branding moved to the side. Wish the fingerprint cutout was more precise like the Verus case, the cutout is right around the beveled ring. Regardless will be getting this case, Diztronic has always made awesome simple cases. Thought I'd post incase people were waiting or about to buy another.

Hopefully @OneStepAhead might confirm the USB-C port opening is as large as the thin device and case will allow. Seems like we're going to have some hit or miss stuff going on with some cables and cases, heh. Obviously with such a thin device and case, it can only be so big, though.

i pre-ordered the black one last week since ive had it on my note 3 previously, and absolutely loved it. I can post pics if anyone wants them once i have it.
Hopefully it will be available soon for non US/Canada based buyers. Very happy with my previous Diztronic cases.

I'm curious... what colour did everyone get? I went with Charcoal Grey for my Aluminium N6P. But I was thinking I'd like to customize it a bit with a rainbow "X" logo from DBrand or Slickwraps (just for the heck of it) and was thinking maybe the Black version would make the logo "pop" a bit more...

I'm not much of a fan of cases but I would love to put on a wrap on my 6p. Does anyone one of a company that might make a rubbery type wrap kind of like the feel of the back of the Nexus 5?
Don't know much about wraps, but the Diztronic TPU case feels just like the N5. It's a bit bulky and I take it on and off depending on the situation, but I've gotten more than one complement on what is a very basic black case.
Not to hijack your post, but on Slickwraps website, there are some wraps that show the fingerprint sensor covered as well, has anyone done this? Does it work ok?

Dbrand > Slickwraps
I use the Spigen's Thin Fit cover and I feels slightly rubbery, very similar to the back of the nexus 5.
Check both Dbrands and Slickwraps. I recently got the concrete skin from Dbrands but I am not to happy with them. When I order something from Slickwraps, it normally comes in a pretty timely fashion. DBrands took almost a week to just release my order. I got an email saying it was released from their Toronto facility, but when it arrived, it was sent from New York?
I wanted exactly the same thing, slickwraps didn't work, but dbrand natural series leather is working really nicely for me. Not quite the same as the Nexus 5,but adds softness and grip.

Yeah I agree. They shipped mine to a wrong address, blamed me, then took several emails to get them to resend it. The product itself is really nice though.

Go ahead and look at a map for once in your life. Tell me where Toronto is and where New York is. I'll wait.
They're Canadian. It's obvious to anyone who has ever opened a book that they use the USPS in NY to ship to their American customers.
I also had a package lost in transit, but they not only sent another one out within a couple days, they added an extra skin to the original order. I wasn't happy that it got lost, but they definitely made up for it with good CS.
Well that was a nice little volatile response. It just seemed odd to me that it took them almost a week to release my order. So the central office is in Toronto, and the warehouses are in New York? And crap..Toronto is in Canada? I could have sworn it was a suburb in New Zealand!

I have used a Pitaka case in the past on my Note 10+, and the experience was pleasant. It was a little rough around the edges/cutouts but it wasn't so bad. So I decided to order one for my 8 Pro as well. Given the pandemic, shipping hasn't happened despite ordering 4-5 days ago, and I'm considering the Latercase as a result.
Pros of the Pitaka is that it has the ability to connect magnetically to car mounts and what not, but that's about it (vs the Latercase at least). But I'm about to order the Latercase to check it out.
Has anyone had experience with the Latercase? Are they shipping quicker? Any qc issues?
I appreciate any input!
I ended up ordering both too, I'm in the UK still waiting on latercase after 10 days of getting my shipment notice. I chalk it down the covid situation because last time I ordered my latercase for my pixel 4 XL it was super fast and smooth. They can't do much since it's been stuck with DHL and has said "processed at origin".
Pitaka case just arrived yesterday and I have it on the phone.
I'm very happy with the pitaka, it's exactly what I expected, I've had one before on my pixel 2. It's fit and finish is great and the cutouts are perfect. It has a nice lip over the camera too, so you don't need to worry about placing the phone down and damaging the camera.
But since we are talking minimalist cases here, unless you need the magnetic features... I'm going to guess the latercase is what I'll stick with... Since the pitaka is slightly thicker at 0.85 where as the latercase is only 0.6, probably due to not having any magnets inside.
In addition... If the latercase is how it is pictured on the website... It has more precise cutout holes (around the flash module and autofocus) none of the phones colour is shown... On the pitaka I can see the phones colour because the cutouts are slightly too big. You can also see the phones colour show on the front and sides, which doesn't bother me in any way... I wonder how the latercase compares.
I will post an update once my latercase arrives, hopefully soon! I pre-ordered it 6 weeks ago!

How about Air Case from Pitaka?
I'm using the mag case from Pitaka, really enjoy it. I heard about the Latercase but never used it.
Talking about minimalist cases, there's another case from Pitaka that looks minimalist, and it has no magnetic feature. It's called the Air Case. It looks better than the mag case from the picture on the site.
Has anyone had experience with that?
I recieved my latercase around a week ago. Very happy with the product and the shipping (Im Norwegian)
both of these are not designed for drop protection so its a shame

My pre order still has not arrived in the Netherlands. Good to see you are happy with it, makes the waiting worth while...
I would love to use either of the cases but until they close up the buttons and cover those along with the top and bottom on the devices they won't be a fit for me.
I like minimalistic cases like these but want every side, button, etc covered. It's 100% possible as mnml has cases like that and so do other 3rd parties cases.
If and when they do that, then I'll buy. Just feedback. Not meaning to complain.

Using the fathers days' 15 % promotion makes it £34 from pitaka. Quite a margin vs amazon.
I got both cases... Just received the Pitaka today and have been using the Later case for 2 weeks now.. by looks, both are identical.. by feel I like the Pitaka more, you can feel the metirials in the case better than the Later case... also for some reason the camera ridge is a bit higher which will give the cameras slightly extra protection... Also the later case is thinner, I guess the Pitaka has the metal liners inside the case so it feel more sturdier...
Let me know if you like to see pics of both on and off the device...

Jesus, I don't know why I didn't think to check Amazon first.
I ordered off Pitaka's website at a small discount well over a week ago and have a feeling I'll be waiting a while for the case to get here. Amazon over here has the case at full price but it'll be delivered in 2 days, that's just silly. I have half a mind to buy it and return it when the original one comes.
For anyone wondering about the Later Case, mine just arrived today, I also have one on my S20 Ultra, highly recommend, the quality and feel is absolutely spot on.......?

While I'm no big fan of Lew or Latercase, the fact that it's a rip off of a Pitaka case has been rather disbursed. Yes, they are quintessentially the same in terms of looks - but they aren't identical. There's a different feel to each one and a different build quality. It's not like Lew is literally ordering his case exactly where Pitaka gets theirs from and just brands it as a "Latercase". He uses a different carbon fiber weave, his cases have a different texture/feel, and they also don't possess the magnet that's built into the case.
I have no allegiances with either company, but the Pitaka just makes sense for me because their case has the magnet that allows me to just throw the phone on the magnetic mount on my car. I'm hoping the OnePlus Warp wireless charger works with the case is all, since that's how I primarily charge the phone.
At this point I'm frustrated with the wait time with the Pitaka case. I ordered it on June 5th and it probably won't be here for at least another 4-5 days. I could've just ordered it off Amazon and got it way sooner.
How's the shipping for the Latercase looking?

I hope you have better luck with your order than I am. I ordered on the 1st. Last update was on the 6th. Emailed 3 times and finally got a canned reply yesterday stating my order had been handed off to the carrier and it wasn't their problem.
