hi all
Am new here ,and made some miskates with the Xda...sorry for that....
i have a swipe halo tab x74s tab running 4.0.3 and baseband ver M1190_V1.0.3 , kernel ver 3.0.8 [email protected] #1...
is it possible to take a backup of ma rom (firmware) ,the tab is prerooted...
Thought of installing CWM ,which version i have to install and plz tell me the procedure ...thanku ,

You could use online nanodroid backup application or Rom manager pro version...
I personally prefer titanium backup...
Easy to use and you could et procedure on play store and video on YouTube...

[Completed] [Q] CWM or TWRP for Exynos Note 3 running Lollipop

I've recently upgraded my exynos Note 3 to the lollipop Russian firmware, currently rooted but I can't find a custom recovery that works with the updated 5.0 android version. There are some links but they all lead to Mega which isn't accessible on my network. It says webpage not available or something. Can I get a link to the newest custom recovery that works on my device and isn't hosted by Mega

You have to do a clean install, first stock lollipop > recovery >Space X.Good luck

May I ask if your planning to port s6 rom to s5 prime? I mean the whole rom. Someone from choimobile made a port for note 4 only. I think it's easy for you.

using space X rom from more than a month. its a stable ROM and everything is working fine.

no need to, this rom is perfectly fine for me. i think you should Factory reset your phone to avoid bootloop. Same thing happen for me then i factory reset my phone and wolaaaah !

Go to note 3 android development or search for multiboot.Follow the instructions and everything will work great.I currently have 5 roms,primary and 4 other.

I managed to have aryamod and CyanogenMod v7.2 12.1 on my n9005 note 3 in multiboot with dualbootpatcher, except I do not know at all how the update cm12.1 (ROM SECONDARY) an idea?
I can not find discution on the update of the secondary or primary ROM

you have to patch the update zip same as you have done with the rom zip then flash it in recovery.

I did not need to go through the recovery, you DUALBOOTPATCHER passes by, I will give my setup and I zip flash for those spineless try dualbootpatcher:

when i installed the firmwarw using odin mobile was stuck on logo .
tham some how i installed that firmwarw using z3x tool ,firmware installed but only playstore found without playservices. i installed playservices manualy but thsese are not working

Will flashing a different ROM solve compatibility issues?
I have a T-mobile Samsung On5 (G550T) that I've carrier unlocked. I brought it to Taiwan to use on the T-star network (which uses 900, 2100 and 2600 MHz frequencies), but it doesn't work. Will flashing to a different ROM let me use my On5 on the T-star network?
I saw on frequencycheck.com that
Samsung SM-G550F/DS Galaxy On5 2017 Duos TD-LTE
and
Samsung SM-G5500 Galaxy On5 LTE
are compatible with T-star, but don't know if it's a simple ROM flash, or whether the hardware itself is different.

it was awhile ago, but it was pretty standard. install rom, install magisk
you probably want to ask a more specific question

That is just the label on the download site. check that the filename contains G550FY and you'll be sure its the right file

You link for G5500 is not for G5500. It for G550T and it is not 6.1 Android, instead 5.1. I know this is an older post but thought you might want to know.

While I am here looking at this. Does anyone know what the latest Android OS version you can find and install on On5 G5500? Would like anthing 8.0 or higher and don't care if it is stock or custom firmware. I can't seem to find anything above 5.1 and 6.1 doesn't seem available on the sites they say there are. A lot of dead links. I appreciate any help. Thanks
