Hello there, i want to upgrade my HTC First android version, I'm currently running 4.1.2 and i want to get the highest android version possible for my device. I've tried to update it through AT&T System update but that does nothing. Can someone please help me? How do i get Marshmallow? Do i have to use Cyanogen or something? Sorry if i said something noobish, im quite software illiterate.

I can't find anything on XDA regarding your device. You may need to check the manufacturer website to see if an ICS update even exists, and if so, how to update to it.

I have tried to root so I can put a new rom on it. Every file is either corrupt or will not work. I have sdk but just don't know how to get the correct files. Nothing seems to work. It is a verizon phone. Anyone with any help would be greatly appreciated.

its running a stock 5.1.1, i need root, and a custom rom. its meant to be a pre aid, but i want to put my regular verizon service on it. ***Willing to build a rom myself, just need some guidance. on obtaining root and spoofin verizon. The phone is brand new, so i cant find anything for it.
