People @ XDA need help
i updated my Gear s2 with a Samsung android phone
Model number SM-R732
Software version R732XXU2DPFB
when i even upair it with the previous samsung mobile and when search for the gear s2 through the iphone 7 bluetooth search option the gear s2 wont appear :C kindly help out guys ... why wont the device show on my iphone 7
There is no fix avaible yet. We are waiting the solution. I sent 2 mail to samsung and explained what happened but They havent reply. They work very slow.
Both Leaked Gear manager and Beta Gear manager doesnt work.
it works iphone 6s and under. Probably iphone 7 has 4 cores and different chipset system thats why it doesnt work. I hope Samsung is going to fix it as soon as possible.
Works with mine on 10.0.2....
Beta and Lite edition doesnt work iphone 7 plus edition. Other İphone models are working.
İf yours is iphone 7, How did you make it work?

I know it. When I first restore my personal settings My iphone 6 + to iphone 7 + fist time Gear Manager has run but it never connects Gear S2. Also it didnt connect Gear or see in bluetooth. So I deleted app and re install it but than it gives Simulator error. Thats the issue.

When you upgraded to iphone 7 - did you do a "restore phone" or you "set up your phone as new"?

Yes if you had Gear S2 already connected to iphone 6 and do a restore when you upgrade to iphone 7 - it seems to work.
But if you do a CLEAN setup as new phone for iphone 7 - Gear S2 cannot be paired. At least that's what I gathered from the information here.

I would buy pro 2 right now if this is fact, but i remember the time when i bought Motorola Atrix which was suppose to have ICS update (confirmed by motorola) and turns out never arrived. pro 2 is not very popular phone and i will be very surprised if it ever get android 5 or G3 UI...

i wonder why this phone unpopular since it's better than g2.
they even said g2 will surely get android l and g3 ui...
i also will be pretty surprised if this phone get a new update since they're not promised to send an update to this device nor new ui.
I also wish they release an L version. So that I can keep using this phone.

I am a big fan of IGo primo navigation sw, I've used it perfectly until my previous S7 edge, but now the kit is not functioning since the new resolution 1440x2960 seems not to be included in any existent kit....
I don't want to discuss about other apps, just about the possibility of getting a functional IGo kit for S8/ S8+.
Anyone knows a solution?

Is your display set to FHD or WQHD?
I've personally not used this app, but I know with Whatsapp for example, the in-app camera doesn't work well when the device is at WQHD resolution.
I think OP is using the device at WQHD.

Try changing to FHD and see if you still have issues with it.

Dour, you are using NextGen.

Just watching Google IO and on the android p beta screen they had Nokia. Fair to assume that the Nokia 8 would be in the program but I can't seem to get mine to enroll.

I cant see it working, swipe up for recent apps, slide up further for app draw, the sensor is way too thin.

I am hoping the buttons remain as an option, i cant stand gesture control.
Thats why I preferred Nokia 8 as my phone over the other flagships like S8/1+1 and so on with infinite displays.
I think it came to N7+ because it's one of Android One mobiles. I don't think the beta program will reach N8 or another none-Android one mobile.

I have Nokia 8 too. Their website says it's not eligible to enroll in beta. It seems that as of now (6.8.2018.) sadly only Google phones can enroll in beta.

You understand wrong, the Nokia 8 is neither One or Go, it is just vanilla'ish android.

If the chipset is same & 5G hardware is there, which can be enabled by some software patch, maybe.

According to the answer below from Samsung, we should be able to. However, a local customer service rep told me it only applies for S-pen in Note 10 and Note 10 plus. Can anybody with a Galaxy Tab (any model) help me check if it works?

To work, screen have specific hardware (wacom ?) to detect spen, so it will only work on "galaxy NOTE Series" (tablet or smartphone).
