Oneplus One won't boot - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I have a big problem,
i have flashed yesterday a new rom with the ADB- Sideload after that still the Gapps.
Now i reboot them and in the Display of TWRP show that no firmware is installed.
I have still reboot the Smartphone and they works but it hasn't any google apps (wtf).
Now i want go back into the Recovery and then was an error:
"unknown command
support API 3
E: failed to mount /cache (invalid argument)
E: cant mount /cache /recovery (last_locale)
in a loop every 5 Seconds"
and now i can't go to the Recovery and into the Bootloader.
I don't know what to do.
PS: sorry for my bad englisch

What do you mean you can't go into bootloader?? No matter how bricked a device is, you should still be able to boot into the fastboot menu.
By the way, which ROM did you flash? If that was a custom ROM, did you flash gapps right after the ROM?

E: failed to mount /data (no such file or directory)

So not eaxctly sure how this happened.
...currently on TWRP 2.2.1.4, and was trying to update bootloader and recovery.
Somehow in the process of trying to fix it, everything got wiped (yey)
On TWRP, under mount, I can only select Mount System
Then when I try to do anything, i get this:
E: failed to mount /data (no such file or directory)
also
E: tw_format: failed to locate device "/dev/block/mmcblk0p2"
E: Unable to mount '/data' (tw_mount)
E: Unable to mount '/cache' (tw_mount)
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated
You need to give us more info!
What bootloader and rom were you on?
What bootloader and recovery are you on now?
What and how did you try to flash?

Your TWRP is too old and incompatible with your current bootloader. Can you still get to the bootloader menu? DO NOT "WIPE DATA" FROM THE BOOTLOADER MENU. Then use fastboot from a PC to install a more recent TWRP.

Yessir.
Bootloader, not sure. I forgot what part in time I bricked it (months ago). Is there any way to tell via TWRP?
Recovery: TWRP 2.2.1.4
I believe it was CM 10.1. I was attempting to update the bootloader in order to install the new ROM. this was without updating recovery, which is where I think this problem originates.
Thanks!

Power+Volume right? The device will vibrate once, but screen will remain off. Just power boots into the ASUS screen with unlock message, then TWRP 2.2.1.4. No matter what combination or timeing I try I cant get it into the bootloader. (gone right)
I have tried clicking all the possible buttons in TWRP in my desperate attempts to fix.
Will not mount a system.
Nvflash? nope. Dont have the og backup.
Any ideas on what else to try?
Thanks!

HELP!! Half-Bricked Phone

I did something stupid and installed rom manager, it corrupted my recovery. I restored to stock rom i found online using odin but it says you need to wipe factory settings to make it boot. The recovery is now the stock one but it displays error messages and when I choosed a command it does nothing. What should I do?
EDIT: I flashed another stock rom this time i could boot into the phone. Some of my apps went missing and superuser went missing. It was a little weird. The recovery still shows errors and no command. It says
"can't access to '/system/csc/VAU/system". I don't think I can root it again and install a custom rom. I dont know what is the right thing to do now. I just want to root it and install a rom
EDIT2: I installed another recovery called Amon-RA recovery and I still get errors. I am thinking maybe the recovery partition is corrupted. I get these errors.
E: Can't mount CACHE:recovery/command
E: Can't mount /dev/block/stl14
(invalid argument)
E: Can't mount CACHE:recovery/log
E: Can't open CACHE:recovery/log
E: Can't mount /dev/block/stl14
(invalid argument)

ME301T stuck in TWRP

I have an ASUS me301t. Was using the OmniRom 4.4 Nightlies (omni-4.4.2-20140531-me301t-NIGHTLY). The TWRP is version 2.6.3.1.
I unplugged the tablet normally, as I always do at night and the next day was looped in the ASUS logo.
I couldn't do anything else, he kept giving the message: unable to mount /system and /cache.
Choose the Format Data option (after having done the unmounts data partition) and was even worse. Now when I enter in TWRP appears a request for password???
I can cancel but I don't know what to do next.
If i choose Data Format again, appears the following:
Updating partition details…
E: Unable to mount '/system'
E: Unable to mount '/cache'
E: Unable to mount '/data'
Full SELinux support is present.
E: Unable to mount '/cache'
E: Unable to mount '/cache'
Formatting data using make_ext4fs function.
E: Unable to mount '/data'
E: Unable to recreate /data/media folder.
You may need to reboot recovery to be able to use /data again.
Updating partition details…
E: Unable to mount '/system'
E: Unable to mount '/cache'
E: Unable to mount '/data'
E: Unable to mount internal storage
My device is unlocked and i have fastboot on my PC, the tablet is recognized, but I don't know what to do
I see the menssage: You may need to reboot recovery to be able to use /data again. The problem is how? What files and how?
Thank you any help to be provided because at this point I really don't know what to do.
Can i use the recovery image from this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2691886) to try to fix my tablet? Using fastboot?

Hi @aNNjo
I use the TWRP mentioned in your post from this forum:
TWRP 2.7.0.1
without problems. Install via fastboot and you should not have issues.
Only time you will, is if you attempt to install CM11 from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2761757
as this post/build has its own TWRP and CWM specifially for that ROM only.
Try it out and post back or PM me, let us know.

Hi @DrBeaker
Thank you for your reply to my post. Is very annoying to have the sensation that nobody whant to know about our request for help, either because they do not know answer, either because they do not have time, or do not mind because they do not know us within the forum users.
Unfortunately I had a very busy weekend at work, and only now I will give some attention to the problem of my tablet. I hope that it have salvation. I will try to use the fastboot with the rom referred to see what happens.
I have to first try to know how this is done, because I'm not have the smallest idea of the procedure to be carried out. A little more research.
Thank you once again.
This way i think:
flasboot flash recovery recovery.img
After fastboot flash recovery recovery.img i get the fowling info:
sending 'recovery' <7048 KB>...
OKAY [10.085s]
writing 'recovery'...
and it is there for 1 hour and 15 minutes, it is normal so many time do do the writing?

no that is not normal. should reboot within like 10 - 15 seconds back to rom.
try booting to recovery (hold power and vol - down at same time) and see if recovery boots. If not try an odin flashable recovery for TWRP and flash via latest version of odin.
Device is unlocked, i can see the tablet using fastboot devices.
Recovery boots, but is in old TWRP 2.6.3.1. whit the same errors, asking for a pass and unable to mount partitions
What is an odin flashable recovery for TWRP
Try for u help

[Q] N8010 Stuck on Boot. Problem with Recovery

Hi guys, I really hope u can help me, cause i admit i did my share of research and got no solution
My N8010 was using GNABO 6.5 and Boeffla Kernel. While using it the other morning, the tablet suddenly rebooted and got stuck on the Galaxy Note screen. It stays on it a few seconds then reboot to the same screen in a loop.
I can access the recovery menu (CWM 6.0.3.6 ) but my options there are pretty limited, cant wipe and cant install zip files. At the botton of the recovery i have the following logs:
Warning: no file_contexts
E: Can´t open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can´t open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can´t open /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can´t open /cache/recovery/last_log
I read somewhere that the problem should be solved if i could install a new recovery through Fastboot. Problem is fastboot cant find my device when on bootloader (but i can find it through ADB).
Using ADB sideload to install new recovery or new ROM gave me error on CWM.
Please, save my Tabye. :crying:

failed to mount /system (invalid argument), Patching system image unconditionally

Hello,
first of all i want to apologize for my bad understanding, i am kind of a noob.
A few months ago i had an stock android 5.1 retail on my moto g XT1032, and i had problems using gapps because i couldnt made a connection to the google servers.
So yesterday i decided to flash a some new custom ROMs , i tried Resurrection Remix, CM12.1, PAC-ROM and Paranoid Android .
Then i got an "Patching system image unconditionally" error and i was stuck on it, so I tried to flash the newest TWRP recovery via fastboot . That worked out fine, but i still got that error Message, so I tried to flash my old Android 5.1 EU Retail. I were able to flash it but i got a bootloop.
Later i found out that when i factory reset my phone, i get an "failed to mount /system (invalid argument)" error.
After hours of chaos i just did random things in my recovery and wiped my internal storage, so I couldnt find my storage folder anymore.
To sum up: I cant flash any rom(stuck at patching system unconditionally...) except the android 5.1 retail but i get an bootloop and i get that "failed to mount /system (invalid argument)" error everytime.
Some Help would be nice.
PS: Sorry for my bad English, I know i messed up hard with my phone.
