No Root for LB
Enviado desde mi E6653 mediante Tapatalk
due to dm-varity enabled since android 6x its hard to find Xploits withing running system of android. where sony itself has SONY RIC running old times, thats makes two securities guarding android in Z5.
so in short NO there is no known way of gaining root access for xperia z5 on LB

I updated my XPeria Z3 (D6603) to the latest android 5.1.1 (Version 23.4.A.0.546) and now i am unable to root my device. Is there a way of getting root access without unlocking the bootloader? I do not want to lose my DRM keys.
Buddy any luck with rooting your Z3 with 5.1.1 on ?
Thanks

No need rooting auch a brilleant device.
You will disrespect that great device by rooting it.
What do you expect from it further than what it provides

Nope and it's looking like there probably never will be a stable fully working mm rom whether it be asop or cm,omni ect, looking at the amount of action in here and everywhere else for the m2 just lately I'm glad I'm moving on to a new device. kinda sad really seeing how popular the m2 is/was
Which custom recovery did you install for xperia M2 dual? BTW I am on 5.1.1

I'm using NUTS xzdr t2u recovery for locked Bootloader on my M2 since 5.1 was released last year works superbly with no modifications there's also multi-recovery 0.9 specially for the m2 but I much prefer nuts
Can u give me the link to guide for flashing recovery?BTW I had unlocked the boot loader.

I heared that the camera will affect and may not work or something else?
Do you recommend me to install Lineage OS14.1?

Rather install Resurrection Remix. If you like customization on your rom.
If you want perfomrnce and themes (substratum) install OmniRom 7.1.2

Hello mohtabbaa
If you are worried you may lose DRM then you should root with this https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m2/general/rootxperia-toolkit-2015-09-26-how-to-t3217541 here and then backup your TA partition here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598 before unlocking your bootloader.
