[Q] modem disabled

hello im from mexico and i have a problem...
i bought my xoom from ebay after i brought it to mexico and try to active it in Iusacell but they cant unlock it because the modem is off or disabled. so they told me that can be possible to go to USA and active with verizon and go back to mexico to active it with they
i need your help... i dont know if exist another way... if isnt i guess i will sell it... thanks

A okk. Si yo quise comorarme una con 3g pero la verdad tenia esa duda y pues la verdad que te puedo decir que estoy feliz con la z604. Estate pendiente aqui en los foros o en google de ver como puedes prender de nuevo el modem(me imagino que para hacer cualquier actualizacion de este tipo necesitas root) y al parecer el dia de mañana liberan una actualizacion, aunque he estado leyendo y dicen que quizas no pase. Pero checalo y comentas de todas formas. Un saludo paisano

ya la puse con iusacell pero solo a 1x aun no puedo ponerle el 3G x.x y no quiero comprar el CDMA workshop 100 dolares es mucho para una sola vez k lo voy a usar :S

Hello I'm from Argentina and I want to help me with my Samasung Galaxy Pro
Load the version 2.3.6 of European android, but I live in Latin America and the 3g gps I stop working.
I wonder if you can modify the modem to work properly.
I load the modem s5830lmodem.tar.md5 but samsung Galaxy Ace and I run out of lighting on the keyboard, but works perfectly. But instead, when I load the modem Gingerbread European version I run out of 3G and GPS.
If you could be so kind as to change the configuration of this modem or this B7510DXKP8_B7510OLBKP8_B7510DXKP8_HOME.tar MODEM_B7510JPKP5_CL773503_REV00.tar.md5 the same as the modem s5830lmodem.tar.md5 but with the lighting on the keyboard would be great.

Hola soy de argentina y quiero que me ayuden con mi Samasung Galaxy Pro.
Cargue la version 2.3.6 de android europea, pero como vivo en latinoamerica el 3g y el gps me dejan de funcionar.
Quisiera saber si puede modificar el archivo modem para que funcione correctamente.
Yo le cargue el modem s5830lmodem.tar.md5 pero es para samsung Galaxy Ace y me quedo sin iluminacion en el teclado, pero anda perfecto. Pero en cambio, cuando cargo el modem Europeo de la version Gingerbread me quedo sin 3G y GPS.
Si podrían ser tan amables de cambiar la configuracion de este modem MODEM_B7510JPKP5_CL773503_REV00.tar.md5 o de este B7510DXKP8_B7510OLBKP8_B7510DXKP8_HOME.tar por la misma que la del modem s5830lmodem.tar.md5 pero con la iluminacion en el teclado seria fabuloso.
Las Roms para el Samsung Galaxy Pro las bajo de sammobile.com/firmware/
Quisiera saber si es posible modificar esos dos Modems o alguno de los dos para tener la configuracion del Galaxy Ace, pero con la iluminacion en el teclado.

I heard that the asian version of the gingerbread update works with the latin networks, but it has no spanish lenguage support maybe you could use those modem files from the asian version in the european version to make it work properly

Hola que tal, tengo el mismo telefono pero no he querido actualizarlo a gingerbread por los problemas con la transmision de datos, buscando respuestas y soluciones me encontre con tu tema y creo que hay una manera de resolverlo, no se mucho de esto, simplemente estoy usando un poco de logica.
Se supone que hay una actualizacion de gingerbread para este telefono en la zona asiatica que sirve con las redes de latinoamerica, pero el problema son los lenguages, no trae español y lo mas cercano es ingles, o peor, chino y algunos parecidos. Segun entiendo tu copiaste los archivos del modem de otro telefono que si trae las bandas usadas en latinoamerica, pero perdiste la luz de fondo del teclado por que los archivos son un poco diferentes, si copias los archivos del modem de la version asiatica de gingerbread para este telefono crees que corrija el problema?.
Y aprovechando que tienes idea de esto, crees que se puedan obtener funciones multitouch tocando los archivos de la misma manera?

Eliminar animación de operador

Hola queria saber si alguien sabe como eliminar la animacion de la operadora al iniciar el telefono..

yes, the easiest thing to do would be go to the section here for your phone and see if they have bootanimations. if they do you can flash one and it will change it.
sí, la cosa más fácil que hacer que se vaya a la sección de aquí para el teléfono y ver si tienen bootanimations. si lo hacen se puede flashear una y va a cambiar.

Hola gente del foro, tengo un Samsung SM-900F y vivo en la Argentina y dicen que este modelo no sirve para funcionar en 4G porque no tiene la banda 4 AWS, la consulta es la siguiente, hay alguna manera de poder modificar y agregar bandas de LTE a este modelo.
