Hi mate
What phone model do you have?
When you say " to restart it" what you mean factory reset or just reboot it with power key + volume down?
Does it boots at all at any time?
Try the basics......go recovery and clear dalvick and cache
If does not work and if you can boot , backup anything important , go to recovery and do a factory reset....
If still does not work you may have to go to download mod and flash (odin) firmware again......

I had the same problem once, too - I wanted the XDA Devs logo font. Tried it, got a bootloop.
The only way I was able to fix it was by restoring my Nandroid backup, which I so wisely made before trying to mod the fonts!
By the way, I have attached a font-installing app that finally enabled my tablet to have the font I wanted - I'm using it right now!
DISCLAIMER - Font Installer.apk is not mine.

Yu yuphoria got stuck in Cyanogen Logo after doing factory rest

Hi,
I was doing factory reset of yu yuphoria by rebooting it in recovery mode. First i wiped the user data, after this when I was wiping cache partition then phone's battery dies and phone gets switched off. After charging it agian, when i tried to turn it on, it got stuck in cyanogen logo. I tried to open it again in recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume up, down and power key till YU logo on scree, but even then phone is getting stuck on cyanogen logo.
I didn't turned on USB debugging in phone while activating Advanced/Developer options by tapping 7-8 times on Build number because I was just about to reset it, not to root it, and reset can be done with phone itself. so I haven't turned on USB debugging.
Please help me, how can I resolve this problem.
Thanks in advance.

[Completed] Gionee p52 Bootloop

I bought my phone about 3 months ago (Gionee p5w) and i had no custom roms installed. Yesterday i saw that there is a system update available. I think i rooted my phone using king root(not sure of version). Update on my phone wouldnt install... so i factory reset without clearing the phone memory thats when problem arised, nothing was reset except the text size setting. So i thought of going into factory mode to reset my phone and started phone with vol up and power key pressed . Factory mode didnt show up and now i am stuck in a bootloop. It shows bootloader logo and restarts again and again. I cant even go to normal mode and start my phone. I remember booting into factory mode when i bought it. Please help me fix it

Hello & welcome to xda-assist,
first of, we don't provide technical support here our job is to direct you through the boards here on xda-developers.
When you root your phone system updates will cause serious problems if you don't unroot before and revert all changes on system partition. So bootloop was expected to happen.
Only cure for that would be to reflash your phone's firmware, to find A) the appropriate firmware for your phone model and B) lern how to flash on your phone I would suggest you to visit this forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
and
Do a basic Google search on "your phone model + firmware" and "how to flash stock rom on your phone model"
Good luck

Samsung Galaxy S6 randomly restarting / gets stucked

Hello guys!
I am encountering an issue with my Samsung Galaxy S6 G920I. The phone suddenly started to restart on its own every 30 seconds or so. After some restarts the phone started to get completely stuck in a randomly time matter, and the only way to take it out of there is by doing a hard reset (volume down + power buttons).
I tried everything. Did wipe cache and factory reset in recovery mode, flashed a new stock ROM with Odin several times but it is still doing that.
The stuck issue also happens on screens like "installing update" or "erasing", after doing the ROM flash with Odin.
Any thoughts?

Try device initialization using SamsungSmart Switch. it Should solve the problem. But that method wipes entire internal storage. So backup before you do anything,
Device initialization is something like resetting it to factory setting by clean install of the firmware.
Hi, could you fix it ? The exact same thing happened to me. I was using stock firmware (I never rooted it or anything) and it suddenly began to reboot by itself. It can be stuck in a bootloop for 2 straight days and then suddenly boot normally and use it for a couple hours until it starts bootlooping again. After a month of having this issues I decided to flash stock 7.0 firmware with ODIN and also with Smart Switch but after succesfully applying the update the phone reboots with the "installing system update" screen and then it gets to 32% and it says "erasing" after which it starts the bootloop once again. I'm stuck with a $500 paperweight. I'm afraid it could be something with the motherboard any help is greatly appreciated!
