Hey folks,
is there any possibility to extract the google security patches from the A9 US-Version to the Europe device?
Here is a link to the website from HTC with the ROM-Download.

No Updates yet for 2016/7 and 2016/8. HTC Support doesnt know a ETA for them.
So the last one is 1.57.617.41 for the unlocked US.
And 1.56.401.70 for my German Device. (Which is way older btw (Dec2015 Patch-Level).

This is false because today is the 16th and there's nothing available for my US Unlocked A9
We'll see.
As they do not roll out all at once...It is not always exact date... HTC 10 update came out,Im assuming A9 will start shortly...so wouldnt say it was "false"

Do you know anything about other versions? I'm stuck on 2015. december security level and wondreing if I get any update ever again for this phone.

So it was clear, that only Security fixes are coming, and nothing more.
For Sense8 : Android N Update, and not before...maybe. Nobody knows.
One CVE to fix left for Quadroot.

Hey guys, the version of 1.57.617.52 is for just US? I have Europe version and I haven't received any update? THX
My phone is an HTC One E8 running Android 6.0.1 with an Android security patch level of June 1, 2016 so I suspect I am vulnerable to Blueborne and possibly other security issues. Since HTC and/or Sprint do not seem to have any interest in releasing a patch I am hoping to be able to figure out how to build an Android release and then add the security patches. When I contacted HTC about the patch their suggestion was that I just turn off Bluetooth whenever I wasn't using it.
It looks like CyanogenMod is now LineageOS and it seems that LineageOS supports the M8.
Is the E8 similar enough to the M8 that I can use the instructions for building M8 and have it work on the E8?
I am happy enough with the phone on Marshmallow that I don't really want to move to a later version of Android; I just want this version to be update to date on it's security patches. If I get to remove some of the unwanted apps that Sprint forces into the phone then that's just all that much better.
Any pointers to how to make a ROM for the E8 would be great. It seems that there are hardware specific pieces I need and HTC is refusing to provide any support for finding them to build a custom ROM.

Essential is on April, even Samsung (S7, S7E) have March.
The S7 had to go through carrier approval, and HTC is behind them for an unlocked carrier free phone? Pathetic.
Not to mention Essential has pushed two 8.1 builds already.

I'm on December 17 with an EU model. I contacted live chat who confirmed my phone is on the latest version. Unfortunately HTC are very poor at releasing updates.
