For those of your who are looking for an alternative to the cm14 rom, here is the link to the AICP 12 rom for clark:
Oh wait, so XDA does not allow new users to post external links, alrighty then. Just google AICP downloads and from there select Clark. You should also be able to find the GAPPS there. If you have any difficulties finding said pages, drop me a message and I will send you the links.
Everything is working fine, no sim issues or any other bugs up till now. It's not pre rooted though. Couldn't get Google Assistant to work If anyone has any luck using the Google Assistant hack on this rom, Please let me know. Big Up to @Hashbang173 for all the hard work and maintaining this device.

Useless post. Just go on AICP thread, clic on the download link and you'll have both android 6 and 7 rom links.
And no everthing is not working fine, phone froze several times and still no GPS

The post isn't as useless as you though cause my GPS works fine and I'm not facing any freezing issues. So know your role and shut your mouth you candy ass jabroni.

Whats the point of calling it a prerelease without the camera
Prerelease/release candidates are those versions which have everything fully functional and are only updated for bug fixes/minor issues.
Calling it a beta or maybe post beta would be a little more appropriate

Search in Google if you want to know about OMX, HDMI etc. The Dev is not a wikipedia .

The keyboard is awkwardly small.
We now have SlimLP, CM12 and Dhollmen. All the developers are doing an awesome job. Let's see which flavour is found to be more usable by members here.

Unfortunetly Android-Andi will not update his roms anymore because of rude behavior of other devs so it's very sad... Big thanks to him for his work!

strangely my cm12 also cant transmit sound over bluetooth.I was hoping a dev would provide a file to paset with root access somewhere..

As he says, some dev has taken his SE policy github work without giving proper credits. So as of now, Unfortunately, Android-Andi has stopped his contribution to Tab2.

Shame, ya i feel him there because he has done loads of work for the tab 2 which i feel his contribution for the tab 2 was not respected by others.
And the dev that did this?
But that is going to happen. Should the open source community suffer for this? I personally feel it takes strongwill to forgive. Everyone knows Andi has great skills and talents and that's what matters. His respect is not going anywhere if somebody does not credit his work properly.

Doesn't really matter at this point.
Now i remember that even in his own cm-12 thread i think someone was posting patched kernels and roms that he built from Andi's commits.
It is huge loss for Tab 2 community if @Android-Andi decides to abandon from this device development. He is great developer and his Lollipop based ROMs generally look promising. Moreover his previous work is outstanding.
What is going on with hero of the tab2 Android_Andi?
I hope Android_Andi not go from our old device....

Edit: well the report is:
Install Rom--OK
Gapps--OK
Bootlogo--OK
Optimizing apps--OK(maybe you have to remove SD CARD for avoid bootloop like resurrectionremix rom)
Boot--OK
Camera--DOWN--same bug as gearcm
SIM--OK(even RR have problem with sim right now)
DeepSleep--OK
Kernel auditor--OK
Sd card have to be formated as in RR..with gearcm this is not needed(maybe this is causing the bootloop)
BUG:
maybe is gapps but i dont know..play store is not downloading ..i will test with older gapps that worked with gearcm
Ok i reinstalled gearcm and sd is working without format and play store is working well(same gapps)
btw im using open gapps pico "arm 6.0 pico 5 January 2016"

As a "recognized developer" this is the poorest way to advertise for a Rom. This is not a help wanted advertising firm. Not giving details on what it is you want people to test, not saying what phone is required on the subject line, and posting this in the general section lead me to believe you are NOT a respected or educated developer on xda. I suggest you put more details and move this thread or it'll be reported, and I'll jump on my other account and personally move it.

I personally don't mind them as it brings to my attention new roms without me having to go looking. Not an issue at all.

I'm glad he shared. May not have followed whatever courtesy guidelines, but you weren't sharing ti with us, and I can't be bothered to scroll through the jumbled mess of google+. I have only been running it a day, so can't really review it, but I haven't have a single real problem with it. Every thing works, and runs smoothly. Hey man, I'm sorry for causing a little cluster in the forums. As much as I want to post on a different thread regarding this method, I'm sure not everyone from this subforum would see my reply there if I were to post this on a Feb update thread. I get what you mean, it's just that its easier to make a thread to ensure visibility for users who have yet to receive the update. I've yet to see someone post instructions such as this and took it into my own hands. I hope you understand my reason for sharing as well.
