incoming call screen - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When the Phone is not in standby but i am logged in and a phonecall comes in it is a notification on top of the screen. Makes no difference when in a app like whatsapp etc. Is it to configure that when a phonecalls comes in when i am busy with a app that a full screen appears from that phonecall in stead of a notification on top?

Can't see who's calling... (?)

Hi,
Do any of you 750 owners have seen this before?
Lately (a week or so ago) I started to get calls and the "notification" popup won't come up. I hear the ring and vibrate and there is a phonecall icon on the top bar next to the data arrows but the notification is missing so I can't see who's calling.
If/when I answer I can finally see the caller information.
This doesn't happen with every call (probably with about half of them per day).
Any idea or did you hear about something similar?
Thanks,
Zax.
Haven't had that particular problem, but I've had other issues when calls come in.
Sometimes (after I've put the device from silent to regular mode using the top slider) the phone doesn't ring and doesn't vibrate although the call notification is showing on screen. This gets fixed after one or more soft resets.
On a fair few other occasions - this is intermittent and extremely annoying - the phone doesn't react at all when someone calls me (no notification, no vibrate, no ring - nothing) but I get a audible and visible missed call notification after the caller has given up / been diverted to voicemail. This problem goes away of its own accord eventually; restarts don't seem to have any effect.
Seriously, if this device wasn't a fairly good PDA as well as a phone, I'd put it in the bin.

Incoming calls in background

So I was typing a message this morning when a call came in. Before I even realized it, the incoming call screen popped up and I hit the Decline button. Is there an app or mod or setting I'm not aware of that will keep the incoming call screen from coming up when another app is in use? I read that CyanogenMod has a setting like that. The phone rings and a notification appears but the Accept/Decline buttons don't pop up immediately. Is there a way to get that functionality on a Sense ROM?

How do you get incoming calls to be full screen and not just a notification?

On new Asus Zenfone 4 Max, my incoming calls go straight to notification bar so I have a small answer and reject button? How do I get the phone to automatically make incoming calls full screen, and then I swipe left or right accordingly?

S10e weird notification with Whatsapp call

So I've been having this problem for a while now. Basically, when someone calls me on Whatsapp, I can hear ringtone but turning locksreen shows nothing. Same thing when I unlock the phone, say for example I am on the home screen, I can hear ringtone, but no pops up notification to tell that a Whatsapp call is taking place.
So, this means: 1) if I'm at the lockscreen and get Whatsapp call, I would have no way to answer or end call. 2) if I unlock and use the phone and the Whatsapp calls come, I also dont know if it is Whatsapp and also cannot swipe down from notification and accept/reject call.
So, I would need to physically open Whatsapp and then it would show a call is coming through and so i can accept/reject call.
Reinstalling whatsapp fixed this problem. However, I believe it is only temporary. My settings: AOD off, Edge Lightning off and does not send notification for Whatsapp.
Does anyone else experience similar problem? Strangely, Whatsapp call is the only thing that causes problem.

Incoming calls should not open telephone app in full screen mode

Whenever I am using my navigation app and a call is coming in, the telephone app is hijacking the screen, and I loose the navigation as long as the call lasts. This can make you miss a turn or two.
Could the phone app be modified to not open in full screen mode when a call is coming in? Could it be set to automatically start a split screen mode, occupying only as much space as it really needs to display the name and/or the number of the caller?
