Samsung Galaxy S6 E: failed to mount /efs (invalid argument) - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I bought my S6 with this error. I tried to flash it many times with Odin and many different roms, but after turning on my device it got stuck at the Samsung Galxy S6 powerd by Android screen. I then tried to Boot into the stock recovery and it shows e: failed to Mount /efs (invalid argument).
I then tried many diffent roms, but still the same Problem. Then i tried to flash a custom Rom (ozop) with twrp, but it showed "-mounting /system (or somethig simmilar)". I looked up on the Internet and found a fix witch needed root. So i tried to get root premmisson with supersu and Cf auto root, but it didn't work. In ADB shell it just shows "/ su not found in /sbin". Has anyone got a solution for this. Please help me.
Thanks in advance

HELP!! Half-Bricked Phone

I did something stupid and installed rom manager, it corrupted my recovery. I restored to stock rom i found online using odin but it says you need to wipe factory settings to make it boot. The recovery is now the stock one but it displays error messages and when I choosed a command it does nothing. What should I do?
EDIT: I flashed another stock rom this time i could boot into the phone. Some of my apps went missing and superuser went missing. It was a little weird. The recovery still shows errors and no command. It says
"can't access to '/system/csc/VAU/system". I don't think I can root it again and install a custom rom. I dont know what is the right thing to do now. I just want to root it and install a rom
EDIT2: I installed another recovery called Amon-RA recovery and I still get errors. I am thinking maybe the recovery partition is corrupted. I get these errors.
E: Can't mount CACHE:recovery/command
E: Can't mount /dev/block/stl14
(invalid argument)
E: Can't mount CACHE:recovery/log
E: Can't open CACHE:recovery/log
E: Can't mount /dev/block/stl14
(invalid argument)

Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930P: Failed to Mount /system (Invalid argument)

Help! I cannot use my phone. I have access to recovery and bootloader but neither can accomplish anything because 1). Odin fails every time 2). My phone cannot find /system. I have tried restoring my phone to stock, but Odin fails. Are there any options left for me?
The bottom of my recover screen says "dm-verity verification failed ... " And "E: failed to mount /system (Invalid argument)".
Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I hope it's that easy. I'll try it tonight and post my success or failure.
I fixed mine by opening odin/prince comey version, then with phone connected choosing the option from the recovery that takes u straight into download mode, then flashing stock rom with odin

Galaxy s7 edge: E: failed to mount "efs" (invalid argument)

Hi, I really need help to fix my s7 edge.
Try to update and bricke, then try to put a few stock roms, all gave me error until one gave the pass in odin, to restart, I send to the recovery showing the error of E: failed to mount "efs" (invalid argument) (3 times) , I need help to fix it.
I managed to place TWRP and I put the supersu and the no verity. but when trying to use the adb it does not recognize the SU.
It stays in the samsung logo.
I CAN NOT TURN IT ON. I'm desperate, what can I do?
(I've already seen several forum posts and tried but nothing works)

e: failed to mount /efs (invalid argument) on Samsung Galaxy NOTE 4 MODEL: N910H

Hi Geniuses!
Please save a soul!
At first, i was trying to fix my Samsung sm-N910H imei and baseband version.
I downloaded and flashed all sort of Samsung official firmwares of N910H of different versions including 5.0.1, 5.1.1 and latest 6.0.1 still to no avail.
I came across efs repair file online flashed it to my rom BOOM!!! that is the beginning of the end.
Now i try installing official ROM it fails on hidden.img.
I sorted it out by extract and removing the hidden.img file.
It flashed successfully. But guess what? it stocks on samsung boot logo before then, see attached d recovery mode log before attempting to boot.
DOWNLOAD MODE, samsung firmware: official, system status: custom
e: failed to mount /efs (invalid argument)
have installed CWM Custom recovery tried all sort nothing positive.
Please i need help as i want to boot to my system even without the imei and baseband saga, i would just use the phone as phablet with just wifi connection.
Your response is anticipated with much thanks!!
Seems /EFS partition where IMEI and all network related stuff is stored, doesn't no longer exist or got corruped.
Because original Android OS got tampered DM-Verity check must fail.
