Then I decided to use lf flashtool to re-stock with .tot file that already use once ... But with both dll (the model D850 and generic) gives me error, that I leave the logs to download, I hope someone me I can help because it does not do me any good cell like this now ...

Firstly CM does not play well with flashing back to stock. But it seems you've lost recovery so there's no way to flash a stock based rom first.
Have you tried using LGUP yet?
Your also placing your phone into download mode correct?
And using a USB 2.0 port? USB 3.0 will not work.

LG VS840 Help!!

Got a bit of a problem.... I flashed a ROM onto my phone (forgot to back up, that's my big issue) It said it flashed just fine. Went to start up, just ran the lg logo for about 30 mins. Decided to try re-flashing it. Made sure to wipe everything. Nothing, still have the same issue. Tried to get back into CWM, but its gone now. Tried doing emergency download software, now its stuck on the screen "Download is in progress, do not disconnect cable." Im stuck. I dont know what else to do. I've tried the LG Support Tool, but it says to use Verizon Software Upgrade Assistant, which I can't get because I can't find a download for it and I cant get it from my phone.
I have the stock ROM image, but I have no clue how to install it without CWM or something. Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I needs my phone...

they said to use Upgrade Assistant that means you never told them about the truth: phone is not booting....big mistake or let me understand that:Upgrade Assistant works when your phone is in download mode ?!
what is that rom you tried to flash surely was for your phone ?
also you have stock rom this is a .zip file or what format?
can you enter fastboot mode ?

Um... Let's see... The LG Support Tool which in most cases you can use to return your phone to stock comes up with a message saying "Upgrade tool is preinstalled in your phone. Please allow to install "Verizon Wireless Software Upgrade Assistant" when the phone is being connected to the PC". That's what the tool tells me.
The ROM I tried to flash was BrokenOutConnect v1.0. Its for the LG Connect, which is almost the same phone, and some one said it would be ok to flash it.
The stock ROM is in an .img file, so I need to figure out how to install from that
And I have no idea how to enter fast boot (unless your referring to the vol up+down + pwr, in which case, that doesn't work.
Sorry, can't post the original page for the ROM, I'm too new lol

I think was a bad idea to flash that rom because is not exactly made for your phone one can damage a phone in this way never do like that !
about your stock rom...maybe this is a backup made by stock recovery ? do you have a recovery.img file in that update ? there is a single img file in that stock rom or more files ?

No I do not... I actually just found that stock image on another forum. File is called LG_Lucid_VS840_4g_system.img . I realize that was a horrible idea... Google kinda led me astray on that one lol. I just wanna figure out how to return it to stock. Or if anyone has a link for "Verizon Wireless Software Upgrade Assistant", that would be much appreciated.

but do you have a backup of your current rom on your sdcard ? It's made by stock recovery if so search for a file named recovery.img
here is the link to your phone check if this is really your phone also download usb drivers and software to update it from LG site
install USB drivers then download and run LG Mobile Support Tool this will connect to LG site download files and finally will request to connect phone to PC then will make update

How can I unbrick my att D850

I have tried the .tot method using lgflash but i get through the steps and when it starts to flash the rom it errors and says version check failed and underneath it is a row of 0's. The checked info above like phone model and stuff is all correct. Is there some other way of doing this?

Just follow my LG G3 back to stock guide if you wasn't already.
That error usually means your using a USB 3.0 port. Make sure your using a USB 2.0 port only!
The tot method is the ONLY back to stock method for AT&T LG phones.

I'm confused why would you need to change system.img to .bin what's that got to do with going back to stock??
You just flash the file in flashtool

Sounds like you need to place the lg g3 megallock.DLL in the lgflashtool directory.

Wait what? Flash tool won't even open if that's not there. So it's not that. Also it's a generic megalock file. There's no exact model megalock dll.

And after changing USB ports did you change your com port to com41? When you use a different USB port you must change the com port again.

Was hopi that wouldn't be the case. The reason I did that was becasue TWRP was not seeing my 64gb card so I could do a Nandroid(not enough space on internal).
Guess I have to wait until I can get home to find my old 32gb card so I can then download the ROM again and then flash.
Ended up having to reintsall rom and do a complete wipe because even after dirty flashing, I kept getting an error saying Home had stopped.

this is a common problem and its explained in the flash tool thread .

That is a good news and right now I am following it But how much time does that need. Typically it was done in a few minutes.
I have this plugged in 15 minutes and don't feel it's gonna be any better

Yes, I've had my phone plugged on for even 2 hours and nothing happened.
this is the error caused that (I checked out the logs) Model Dll Msg Not Found(1001, 0)

Unable to flash stock firmware due to write error on system.img

I am using the latest stable nightly build for me, the one released in 04-04 of the LineageOS.
The build is working fine, however, I need to go back to stock firmware.
Last time I tried to do it using newest Odin, I was on latest build (the one that has all those crashes) and right at the beginning of the flashing process, the writing of system.img to System partition fails and the device was bricked.
Bricked up to the point where a restore using Samsung Switch was the only apparent solution. So I went for it. I have to say it is a really annoying procedure, you will need your device serial number and a good internet connection. When the download was finished, the software instructed me to go into install mode. The installation started anf seemed to be doing fine, but sadly the process has failed at 67%.
I'm afraid that the same thing could happen again.
Could you please help me out?
Thanks.

Thanks. I just reflashed 10d (my mistake when I said 5d) with LGUP and uppercut. I guess you can't boot to TWRP without having flashed it first or something so I'm as good as I can be for now. Hope your issue clears up.
I realized I used a wrong command to flash boot instead of recovery.
Fortunately, I saved the 10d full ROM and I just flash it with LGUP and use correct command and install Magisk again. However, I had to wipe the machine due to mistake, but I have a backup a month ago so data loss isn't that bad.
10d seems to be a bit faster.
Full ROM + dll + instruction how to copy.

Thank you Soo much. I just got my 3 plus and in less than 24 hrs managed to f it off completely. My girl was talking to me and I was only paying half attention to what I was doing and wiped everything. No OS of course and I had just gotten it flashed with twrp. Needless to say I feel like an idiot because I hadn't gotten a good backup. I have the .lbf from my PC but I couldn't get bridge to recognize my phone. Lg up would but I need .kdZ

DLL says it's invalid. Anyone been able to use it successfully?
Edit: Nvm. I just had to reinstall UP (messing with DLLs from flashing other models screwed it up, I'm guessing). Worked great after
alright I have flashed the kdz file from multiple souces including this one, nothing changes on my end says completed but nothing changes, except an error message everytime I open up any app says App Updates has stopped it's getting annoying, my camera is not as good anymore either its more of a blur than anything, what do I have to do to restore this phone back to original settings and original software where I start completely over, this kdz did not do that it kept my apps, it kept everything and then gave me that error
LGUP I could only do upgrade not refurbish it just does not take it as a refurbish something with the file structure I think but that's the only option it would let me do

plug in your phone, unzip this and you will see 2 lgup icons (red). right click on the developer("D" on it) icon and choose run as administrator. notice i skipped uppercut. if you do it this way it is not needed. you have many more choices. it is even possible to put the os of one model running the same hardware into another effectively changing the model. there is no device check. If lgup refuses to do something, close it and boot it up again. Sometimes it helps.
