Pyrope browser now are avitable for 4.1+, This browser has the same functions pyrope, but a white graphic that don't use some material desing libs as pyrope.
its based on chromium / swe, directly from the CyanogenMod team
Optimized for Qualcomm® Snapdragon™*- Pyrope works on other devices which don't have a Snapdragon™ chip (Web Refiner Module not included)
This app is based on chromium / swe and Cyanogemod, and it needs a proper build env to be compiled is like 40GB download and it takes a decent amount of time to download and compile. They don't make it that easy.

WebRefiner libraries
1.The libraries listed in src/components/web_refiner/ (downloaded during the 'gclient sync' phase) are built on top of SWE based on Chromium version M42. Attempting to use these libraries in any other version of chromium will result in instability.
2.libswewebrefiner.so is built with dependency on libswe.so. If you are changing the chromium library name to something else in your project, then libswewebrefiner.so library loading will simply fail at runtime.
3.Libraries support ARM and ARM64 architecture only.

this user's comments...
I take it you're not planning any updates to this, right? It's a shame cause I like it too much. I only discovered it recently and have been using it for a short while on my S3 Neo. I suppose I might as well give you my feedback since you never know...
* Some random crashes are mildly annoying. It's more common during multitasking when I'm juggling between different open apps.
* Open tabs are automatically refreshed (reloaded) almost every time I switch to them, after having been kept in the background for any amount of time. This is something of an issue for me.
* It would be nice if it had an option to close all other tabs simultaneously. Doing it one by one is kind of irksome.
* The video player leaves much to be desired. To be fair though, that's the case with the vast majority of browsers. My absolute favorite one in this department is UC Video. It would be terrific if you could implement something like that video player in this app.
* The bright white color of the interface is not to my taste at all. An AMOLED black theme would be awesome.
* Finally, it would be very useful to add a whitelist feature for that night mode. I don't know if you're aware of this or not but most porn sites nowadays already have a native black background..

Why don't you check out the other thread that somebody started:

You speak English a hell of a lot better than I speak Chinese, but it's kinda hard to understand what you're talking about. That's probably one reason why the other thread is actually getting replies.
Good luck,

I like this browser, its very fast (probably a bit faster than Opera Mini), and I do like the home screen quicklinks in there. If you like basic browsing, then this is a best option.

updated to v1.009, some optimisations.
i will try your manga reader i now use mango for downloading but i think that the Reader is to Sloppy (static) so i use Perfect viewer insteed to Read the Manga but both mango is no longer on Google play and Perfect viewer have bad updates that Ruined the Reading Experince and i Really hope thta this app don't crash becasue i have a Giant Manga collection on my phone Around 25GB
it Works good but you have some things that needs to be fixed more Options i really like to have a clean screen when i read so make an option which hides the header and footer after Lets say 2 seconds so you can catch the number of the page you are viewing
and an option to set Root folder were the file browser takes you on Start.
show battery % in Header whould be usefull to.
have Lists in file browser insteed of pages .
don't have ads while you read the Manga (if you don't want to annoy the **** out of People).
make the App auto detect if you are in horizontal/vertical mode
i will buy this App and hope you make some of the changes i listed above

Hi and thanks for using my APP
You can already hide the header and footer while reading, just tap the screen quickly and it will toggle the UI (works only when reading a collection, not when browsing between collections).
I personally don't like auto-detection of portrait / landscape mode, because most of the time I read in portrait mode on my Nexus 7 and puts the tablet in a landscape position... You can force the orientation in the options screen.
The ads are only on the free version, you can upgrade to remove them completely

Hi guys,
It is my opinion that mobile browsers on Android suck because most of them are focused on feature count over ACTUAL mobile usability -- With most mobile browsers to be just a desktop browser squeezed into a small screen.
So I built Javelin Browser, extending from the very great code-base of Lightning Browser. Like Lightning Browser, Javelin is light-weight, and super-fast.
But that is nowhere enough. To get the mobile part right, here’s what I did.
MINIMAL DESIGN to be minimalistic, intuitive, and beautiful.
ADDED ADBLOCK natively, using the implementation of Adblock Plus with Easylist.
ONE-TOUCH gesture per action
READ EASILY with a reading mode just like Pocket app, Instapaper, Readability, etc.

This is an on-going project. As of April 2014, this is my second month into this. I’m commited to the Javelin project for at least the next 2 years. Let me know what you think!
Next release:
Fully featured Omnibox (It'll resemble that more of Firefox rather than Chrome - The suggestions will will lean slightly towards web-history/bookmarks over than web-search)
Bookmarks.. Chrome Bookmarks import for one. (I personally want this)
In the pipeline:
* Javelin on Android Wear
* Link Bubble: Oh man, I love the idea. But it is really just chatheads + preloading of URLs and showing an overlay of a webview. It lacks a full browser backend. So yes. I plan to implement some sort of Chathead + Preloading feature in the very near future.
----
Addendum (full disclosure):
- Javelin is a forked project of Lightning Browser, under Apache License 2.0. Here's the link to the repo: https://github.com/anthonycr/Lightning-Browser
- As is with the app permissions, the app does register your email addresses to identify you as a user, and from time-to-time, you might receive a newsletter that you can opt-out anytime.
Going to download :good:
Looks great! Gonna give it a whirl right away :good:

A little bug
I'm using the browser right now and there is a bug when Full-screen Mode it's activated the navigation bar cuts a piece of screen, the bug is "fixed" when you open a website but everytime when the navigation bar appears this happens. By the way, great browser! :good:
A couple of screenshots and a direct link to the Play Store would probably raise the interest around here. I bet a mod can do it for you if you can't yourself.

Is Javelin open source like lightning?
I really like Javelin's UI! I would like to see the app icon get changed because it looks a bit odd.
I just tried it and here is what I think.
One gesture is all I see atm, that's not enough. Check the many naked browser offers, that's what I wanna see, similar for the bookmark panel access. Also performance has drastically to improve, it's way to laggy on my NEXUS 5.
But it seems like a solid start so far, I like the design, what I don't like os the heavy emphasize on going pro, seems like it wants you to buy something on almost any click, this should get toned down or it will turn people away too fast and easily.
I will keep an eye on this, I would really like this to become something like a nicer designed version of naked browser which is still unrivaled for me even though I doubt this browser will turn into something similar.
Just have a try... really class design someone compares to naked browser ... The size difference is due to adblock?

Beautiful, smooth and fast! Bro where have you been my entire life!
The only problem I have with the browser is the icon it looks out of place and odd compared to other icons, maybe a redesign would be nice also keep it circle cause circle icons are beautiful.

How come it says "Jerky is the first browser to fully integrate..." under AdBlock settings?
Homepage defaults to javelinbrowser.com - no matter if it's set to 'blank' or another site.
Every time I go to alter the size of an image I get a popup asking "what would you like to do with this image?" Can this be turned off somehow? I just want to zoom in or out. The other options should be accessed by a long press or something.

DESCRIPTIONLucid Browser is a free and open source web browser designed to be small, light, fast, and simple. The app itself is as small as about 4 MB, and the Donate version is only about 2 MB. The browser uses a custom homepage that loads locally for quick start-ups. Although it is small in size, it packs a punch with all the features you would normally see in a mobile browser. For example, you can import bookmarks from other browsers that use file formats of HTML or JSON. The browser also allows for complete management of bookmarks with folder categorization. By default, Lucid Browser uses Ecosia, a project designed to help plant trees. Lucid Browser also comes with many settings and ways to personalize the look. It is easy to use, very handy, and allows you to surf the net with speed.

It's light-weight so it means:
-it won't consume as much RAM as bigger browsers does
-work fast because there are not many elements to load so that CPU can focus on page loading
needs to handle revoked certs
It should not show this page
https://revoked.grc.com.
But it does. You could be among the first to offer secure browser for Android.
Awesome browser man, keep it up.
I'd like to ask if it's possible to add an option to autohide the action bar during navigaton as well as adding the option to display the most visited sites when typing an adress?
A few in the play store have mentioned it in reviews, but the ability to close the browser would be optimal. Currently the only way to get back to the home screen is the home button on my phone. I assume this is intentional, but for full browser replacement on android for me I need a way to exit the program even if it becomes an advanced option in the settings menu. Otherwise very lightweight and intuitive to use and I really like it.
ability to close the app, would be necessary for me too. Otherwise definitely what I need in a browser ???

Amazing... Keep it up.
I would prefer holding the back button to close the browser - or ideally options for making holding do this of course.
I realise this is probably a big ask but Lastpass integration would be nice as well. It pains me and my phone battery that Dolphin (and possibly Firefox ...?) are the only browsers to offer this.
Lovely app BTW, thanks for all the hard work.
Looks good but a couple of feature request.
-Ability to close the app.
-Setting a blank home page
-clearing cache, browsing history, cookies etc when exiting.
Also, swype(keyboard) doesn't show a ".com" on the keyboard which usually works with all browsers. Please check that.
Thanks
Great Browser!

After about ten to fifteen min of reading the images failed to load on all threads. I had to force close the app, clear cache and restart it. Afterwards the images appeared as they should. It only happend once but it may be something to look into. Thanks for a excellent reader.

I've added this to clear cache programatically when onDestroy the listactivity, so when You click on a feed it will start with new cache this should be enough to avoid crashes related to the cache garbage collection
it will included the next update
New version 6.2 is up
Changes:
Fix immersive mode on window focus change
Add right titles to toolbar
Fix toolbar not themed when dark theme is applied
Navigation drawer revision
Disabled glide's disk caching to avoid cache garbage collection
Added a button to clear app cache
Looks promising! Will it be possible to add Feedly integration?
The app is really smooth and nicely designed.
That said, Feedly support would be greatly appreciated!
Also a way to mark what has been read and what hasn't would make it easier to use long term.

Yes, will see what we can do
wow. I love the UI. much smooth. are you planning to add feature/function that will enable users add/remove feed manually not from feedly(I see a request above)? would love to keep this app.
homescreen widget would be the best. i will switch to this app as soon as i can customize the feeds. thanks.
Add feedbin support please
My vision is not good. Could you please kindly consider support for larger fonts.

gonna include this change on next update
you can choose from very small to very large in articles views
and from small to large for listview home items
this is cool, lightweight and it does the job pretty well.
To those asking for 3rd party plugin support, I guess you should hold on.
As this is early development, I believe Ivan will add all those features.
The most important thing is getting stable first,
- Dynamic feeds list (still a super Wip)
- Options for the font size
