You mean you're trying to use a selfie stick but it won't work?
Typically you'd have to compile a new kernel for your device that supports the feature.

[Q] ROM w/ HDMI & Sixaxis support

Hi everyone,
I'm can't seem to find a ROM which supports HDMI and bluetooth support for my PS3 sixaxis controller, the only ROMs I've tested either have HDMI output or bluetooth support, but not both, does anyone know a ROM which has both?
I'd really like to play games on my TV via my phone.
The ROMs I've tested so far are:
ARHD, v 3.0.4 v 6.0.3
MIUI v1.12.30
HyperSensation v1.6
Trips Android 4.0.1 w/ stripped down sense
RCMix v7.1
RCMix ICS v1.1
Reverted AOSP v1.1.0
Does anyone know such a ROM?
isn't there anyone that can help me?
You didn't seem to specifically mention whether you wanted/needed the ROM to be a Sense ICS ROM.
Have you found support in the GB ROMs?
It doesnt matter what version of android it is.
what exactly do you mean by found support?
This support is not rom related, but kernel related! You need to ask to a kernel developer to have a chance..!
But I'm just wondering if someone is using a ROM with support for a sixaxis controller and is able to connect this rom to an HD tv. I've tried a lot of ROMs but I haven't found one unfortunately.

CyanogenMOD MTK6516, MTK65*3

Hello, somebody know about running CyanogenMOD(or other light mod) on chinesse smartphones based on MediaTek chips MTK6516(prefered variant), MTK6513 or MTK6573?
Hope somebody can help with it, thanks.
P.S:sorry for my English
Today I found the sources for MTK6516, so it will make possible to make the CM for this phones
http://letitbit.net/download/94615.9f8cad5f7ca9188d82c5adea8f2a/OT_890_20120110.tar.xz.html
I am interested in this too. My stock Mediatek 65xx ROM does NOT support Bluetooth well, and the audio volume is soft. I am looking for a custom ROM (such as CM) for the device.
UPDATE (23 April 2012) - My phone is a Hero H4300 (Mediatek chip MT6573). The HD7 ROM by Bruno Martins does NOT work on it. The stock ROM found on MobileUncle Forums (Chinese language) is defective also. But there is a stock ROM somewhere on the internet and that will restore the phone PLUS improve on the Bluetooth A2DP/RDP/Volume etc. So far, even the 3G-Wifi changeover works OK. I am hoping we could have a CyanogenMod ROM for this phone because it is quite speedy but lacking in internal storage space!

[rom] CyanogenMod 10.1 for Allwinner A31 (SDK 3.2) devices - 2013-07-15 update

If you appreciate my work and would like to support me with a small donation you can click on
button.
If every happy user of this rom would just donate something I could invest more time in all these Android projects.
Issues and possible workarounds
* Accelerated video playback is supported by MX Player in HW+/HW mode and pretty much every file will play, try both playback method because it depends on the video codec; I noticed that HD videos plays better in HW+ mode while SD (XviD for example) play better in HW mode. For a better audio support (included DTS playback) have a look here.
* HDMI shows a picture but it doesn't fill the TV screen entirely.
* Probably other things...
Features
* USB GPS support (cp210x and pl2303)
* Xbox 360 gamepad support (xpad)
* PS3 USB gamepad support (hid-sony)
* Generic / chinese (Pantherlord / GreenAsia) gamepads support (hid-pl and hid-gaff)
* OpenVPN support (tun)
* Veno congestion control algorithm
* USB audio
* USB bluetooth (It supports only CSR devices, they can be identified typing "lsusb" from an app like "terminal emulator": the supported device will be present with an entry like "Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0a12:0001" ("0a12:0001" is the supported VIDID). Do not boot with the bluetooth plugged in; plug it once you booted to android.)
Instructions
* You need TWRP to be able to flash this rom. Read the linked thread for instructions.
* Put rom (cm-10.1-$DATE-UNOFFICIAL-spark.zip) and gapps (gapps-jb-$DATE-signed.zip) files inside internal or external sdcard.
* Turn on the tablet in recovery mode as explained in TWRP thread.
* If this is your first install select "Factory reset" from "Wipe" menu.
* Flash rom (cm-10.1-$DATE-UNOFFICIAL-spark.zip), gapps (gapps-jb-$DATE-signed.zip) and, if you're installing this rom on a device that is not the Spark, the required compatibility zip.
* Now select "Reboot".
* Enjoy CyanogenMod 10.1!

FAQs
* If your devices doesn't have a volume rocker you can install one of these apps to control volume from the notifications: Volume in notification, TrayVolume
* WiFi now can stay enabled with display turned off. Note that if WiFi is enabled the tablet won't enter deep sleep so if you're more interestead in battery life instead of an always on WiFi change policy (on "Advanced" WiFi settings) from "Always" to "Never" and select your preferred WiFi timeout.
* Internal memory is mounted at /storage/sdcard0, external sdcard is mounted at /storage/sdcard1. If you wanna swap them (and make primary your real microsd) just edit "persist.sys.vold.switchexternal=0" to "persist.sys.vold.switchexternal=1" in "/system/build.prop" file

Hi!
U are awesome!
I have a Allview alldro 3 speed quad (http://allview.ro/shop/tablete-si-tv-box/alldro-3-speed-quad.html) after the last official update with 4.2.2, it is very similar with Onda V972, someones who have this tablet tried to install the official Onda firmware with success, someones say the camera work, someones say not working, but the wifi not work for all..
(I fount in this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42058719&postcount=1108) hi has maybe samsung swl-n20 wireless... )
It is possible to port the CyanogenMod from Onda V972 to this tablet, with wifi driver modification to work with him? Can u help me? (if I can help U, i help with pleasure, i'm programmer, with knowledge in Android)
I have the official firmware file, i downloaded it because the tablet come from the factory with 4.1 It is a very successfull and best selled model, with good price, but with a very lazy lagging firmware.. i don't feel it quad core, my samsung galaxy s i9000 with cyanogenmod is more fast sometimes, without lags...
My tablet is with stock, and not rooted, and I have only the default loader, because i dont find a rooting, or a CWM install tutorial...
Thank U!
update:
Allview released a new 3.2.1.4 firmware (i think it is a clone of Onda 3.2.1 firmware) this is a very good, fast, lagfree update More fast than previous 3.0 version.
I successfully rooted with Root_Onda_4.2.2_V3.2_LZ.zip and i think, with the CWM or TWRP for Onda will works fine. (i think this is the clone for 972 V1)
Only the compatibility with Cyanogenmod port for Onda is the big question....
I found why this tablet has different wireless module, because the 972 had no bluetooth, and the Allview has working Bluetooth....

Hi mate here is a link to the firmware h**p://d-h.st/wXo[/url]
It a nova 10.1 a31 and its version 2 not version 1. Pretty scant any info online for it, any help getting something for this other than stock rom would be mightily appreciated.
Hey folks, does anyone try and compared this ROM with the one that comes with the tablet? Does it make any improvements in terms of performance? Since the original one is very very slow.

Ciao Christian troy
I'm surfing the internet in search of a good ROM for my A31 tablet: Hamlet Zelig Pad 410 more info here:http://www.hamletcom.com/products/xzpad410.aspx
It's running Android 4.1.1 right now
I think the work you've made for this SOC is amazing and I really want to try it out but I don't know what stock SDK 3.2 means and how to check it on my tablet...
thanks

Maybe is the SDK problem but the camera is kind of weird.
Hi Christian or anyone could help with this momo20 compatibility.zip that you have attached in pg 1 of this section?

Hello Christian! Is this your github account? I implemented your ubifs solution for mtk phones, and I want to add your xda account in credits instead of github, but I didn't found a link between those two. I don't have a phone with ubifs partitions, but there are many mtk models, and maybe some users will want to donate to you. To be honest I don't have great expectations, because I receive something like 1 euro on a month, and I made first touch recovery for MTK phones, which is used by a lot of people, but I understand that these people who buy MTK phones don't have much money, so I'm OK with it. Still, if you are the same person, tell me and I will add this user link for mtk ubifs users.
Best regards!
Later edit: Ok, sorry for this, I found your link to github under screenshots, and it is clear that you are the same person from github account I mentioned. So, thank you for your great work.
Hello,

Any hope for CM11 update?

Hi,
Could you please post or send me the 3.2.1.4 firmware for Allview alldro 3 speed quad?
I looked everywhere on the internet for it.
Thank you very much!
Looks like I have this ROM on recently bought Archos 97 Platinum HD.
edit. sorry it is for CM 10.2
- important issue - battery sometimes gets to 0% and tablet turns off. Reboot needed then.
I have some issues with Google Play app, some timeouts, stucks.
I have unistalled updates, deleted cache/data Google Play, and GP services, and then readed account in case of RH1 server connection error.
And there were also some shortcomings in smoothness of the menu which I knew before from Cortex A9 Quad Core device.
Then just to finish work with costumizing whole tablet, after installing 20+ aps, I went to recovery (hold two buttons when device is off) and then adv wipe->clean dalvik and clean cache. Then it will optimize all aps again. I think it helps in such a situations.
System in overall works rather good, maybe not so responsively as with my previous experience with Cortex A9, slower, but allright. Just I see that how apps was launching faster before, it's worse CPU, but still not so bad. But as I mentioned, I liked that responsively/instant lanuching.
Then I wen to safe mode by long hold reboot. After getting back to normal mode, there is a smoothness of 2D UI again. It is probably connected with these steps described in TPWRC. Now tablet runs fine.
Antutu score is 15169, when stock rom was sth like 11k, but I'm not sure.
Camera, wifi works.
Stock browser doesn't work. Others works fine.
Now I'll trying to install CM11 from Christian Troy's (author) signature (below his posts) - for Allwinner A31.
http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/978...inner-a31-by-christiantroy-update-2014-04-19/
Or maybe not, cos HDMI dooesn't work there, and this one neither:
http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/102...inner-a31-by-christiantroy-update-2014-04-19/
I'm curious whether Onda 972 4.4.2 ROM ( I heard it's V1 ROM ables to run without camera issues, V1 corresponds with this Archos specification) will run better than this CM10, and maybe without issues from his CM11.
edit. Looks like not:
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/?search=1&new=1&forum=onda-v972&value=hdmi&type=1&include=1
but for sound issues are some solutions
not for 1080p issues.
Altough I found this:
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum...tom-firmware-v3-2-1-2013-07-26/page-2/#p29985
but i don't know with exactly which problem with HDMI it corresponds to.
Maybe for absolutely no signal of adapter, not FHD support. i don't know
or this one somebody gave http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/onda-v812/hdmi-cable-issues-v813/
onda v972 v1 for Archos 97 Platinum HD Android Kitkat 4.4.2 ROM s
V1 it's the same device, we can flash every rom
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum...-bean-root-custom-firmware-v3-3-1-2013-11-22/
I prefer this 4.4.2 - HDMI may work properly, newer SDK based.
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum...oted-final-release-28-12-2013/page-7/#p37333]
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum...oted-final-release-28-12-2013/page-12/#p41991
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/?search=1&new=1&forum=onda-v972&value=platinum&type=1&include=1
Remember, no mandatory format needed, or checking any options in Phoenix needed.
I didn't do anything with that 10.2 before just flashing in Phoenix. Though I had this custom recovery etc.
Turn off Wifi optimization in options to avoid lags of connection during downloading e.g. in Store.
Anyway, thank you very much for a nice work, Christian Troy!
What tablet have I got?
Hello everyone,
I wanted to install cyanogenmod. I figured out that I don't know which company it is and the model number is not known by google.

Hello
I'm using droid kang rom and bricked kernel, i would like to know i have to install jishnu' caméra mod to have better picture or not ?
Bests regards
Hi,
Which one you are referring? Because there is two mods...
On is not (fully) compatible with CM based rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2516061, so since you use a rom based on CM, maybe avoid it if don't want some problems...
The other is compatible with CM based rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2598999 (it's a port of the LG camera)..
The best is to read the OP, try to read the last pages for feedbacks then make a Nandroid backup and test by yourself to see if there is an improvement or not...

[Q] CyanogenMod 12.1 (Android 5.1) for Doogee Dagger DG550

Hello fellas,
I have just found out that you can port any ROM to your own device (with some effort of course).
So, I would like to find out how to port CyanogenMod 12.1 (Android 5.1) to my Doogee Dagger DG550 device (it currently has the latest ROM available for it - Android KitKat 4.4.2).
It is a MTK6592 device (8-core CPU) - just in case.
Total noob here - need some help on the slightest things.
Thanks!

Would look at cms official guide http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Doc:_porting_intro (remember it isn't that easy to port the ROM to another device but it is doable with some effort)
There are CM12; 12,1 and 13 for DG550 already, I'm just having trouble with network on the CM13
I didn't know
