It will cause battery drain as it uses the proximity sensor when you lock the screen

It doesn't charge the battery, it is just like like an extended battery which we already have. I know this because I had this type of case for my Ipod touch.

Shall I also turn off my handset?

I never turned them on to begin with... now what?
I appreciate your effort but without showing your SOT we won't know how good is your battery life.
Plus your screen shot obviously shown that your phone has been recharged to a certain amount. Good effort but this is not really a genuine battery test.

I keep all of the above on aswell as Bluetooth and manage the following

thankss... yeah i forgot to take a screen shot of screen time.. the reason i uploaded this is because i usually get 1 day max of usage... but since i turned all theses features off. and kept same usage it lasted longer...
for the charging times its not really a charging as it was only some time spent for transferring some files between my pct and handset.
thanks for the info tho...
After all this, turn off the phone as well. You won't believe the battery life

S- bean, smart stay, air gestures, etc are useless in my opinion. They're only functions for showing your friends how many things your phone does and then turn them off and never use them again
Great battery life and performance, great s-pen functions like action note, drawings and S- Note, those are real functions of the Note 3
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Me too, they've been off since I got the handset. I'd CM11 this thing if it was 100% stable. I keep TouchWiz for the s-pen - but I find I rarely/never use it.
Best advice here:
Remove the battery after a couple of hours use wait 3 days with battery removed.
Repeat.
This way it could last an entire month

Du battery saver. I used it last
Change your charger and see.. And uninstall du battery saver and see if it works... Beacause unsupported battery savers may cause calibration problems...

One more thing i want to tell you is that my battery is thickened from the middle. Can this be the reason of sudden drop.

Ya .. It also a reason for the drain .. The thickening is due to overloading and overcharging... Only way is to replace your battery with a new one...

my thoughts exactly. there's a lot in here that doesn't belong..
Hi all!
I would like to know if other users have a high wakelock of s-health. On my end, using BetterBatteryStats, com.sec.android.app.shealth has about 1 wakelock per minute! I think it's to track the steps, but it's waaaaay too much! What I did before is sync every night and that's it, I don't need to sync all the time, except ofc the notifications.
These wakelocks reduces the deep sleep of the phone, hence battery drain.
Anyone has a method to reduce this wakelock? I'm on a OP3 running LAOS 7 rooted.
Thanks!
Yes i have that problem a couple days a go when i got my watch. Greenify took care of it for me.

Just standard root option. And greenify the Samsung health app. Then i "cut" the wakeups when they pop up.

How do you cut the wakeups? Did you activate the aggressive doze with the wake-up tracking and cut-off?
