[Q] LTE/WCDMA/GSM Problem "Not registered on network"

Dear Senior Member,
Please help me as I am stuck with the problem of mobile network in my Galaxy S6 Dual (SM-G920F). My mobile is upgraded recently with 5.1.1 ((PDA: G920FXXU2BOFL CSC: G920FOJV2BOEE CHANGELIST: 5012324 BUILD DATE: 22.06.2015) ). Main problem of my Galaxy S6 now is, when I select WCDMA/GSM or LTE/WCDMA/GSM or WCDMA, then my mobile network is not working and it shows error message "Not registered on network" and also it shows "Emergency calls only". But when I choose GSM only, then my call, message and mobile network work but internet speed is so slow. My upgradation is for that reason and now the same problem as earlier. I think so mane experts are here on Galaxy S6, Please help. I think it happens for Modem FIle or Stock firmware. Then which stock firmware is good for this problem. Please suggest.
Before flashing any ROM bring your S6 1st to your telecom provider for check-up since your S6 is still under warranty. Flashing ROM voids your warranty.

Before updating did you have lte? Idk there was the region specific network block that Samsung put on its phone. Meaning if u bought a phone from Dubai and plan to use in US, u have to put a Dubai sim and make 5 minutes call to unlock the region network block to use it in US.

Thank you Fullmetal for your reply. I am using S6 and UK written on backside of the phone. I am using it in Bangladesh. Is there any other way to unlock regional network?

Either find a uk sim or try some guides in youtube on how people unlocked other new samsungs(Note 3, 4) as should be mostly same for s6! Otherwise you'll have to pay and get it unlocked from a Samsung official shop in Bangladesh or your mobile carrier/service centre.

Same problem as before.
Model: GALAXY S6 (SM - G920FD/G920F) DUAL SIM
SIM 1 > GSM ONLY > CALL, Message & Internet (Slow speed as 2G) without problem
SIM 2 > GSM ONLY > CALL, Message & Internet (Slow speed as 2G) without problem
IF CHOOSE
SIM 1 > LTE/WCDMA/GSM(Auto connect) OR WCDMA/GSM OR WCDMA ONLY > SHOW EMERGENCY CALL ONLY
SIM 2 > LTE/WCDMA/GSM(Auto connect) OR WCDMA/GSM OR WCDMA ONLY > SHOW EMERGENCY CALL ONLY
Is it the problem of dual Sim or what?

Galaxy S7 duos 4g/lte mhz???

Hi everybody.
I'm from Italy. In Italy we haven't got galaxy s7 in dual sim version, but i need it.
I can buy it outside Europe, through e-commerce. The problem is that the seller doesn't know the precise code of the model, he only knows that is dual sim and sim free. I would to know if there are different models of galaxy s7 duos sim free, and what are the 4g/lte frequency, to understand if it's compatible with italian sim operators.
Thank you.

There are 2 that i know of.
SM-G930FD - This is the "European" model, u can install Single Sim ROM and Dual sim will work ( faster updates from samsung )
SM-G9300 - Chinese / Vietnam version , no Google Play and some Chinese apps .
About bands, read on those 2 pages
Thank you a lot.
We waiting for other utents if they know other versions.
A question: what means "u can install Single Sim ROM and Dual sim will work"? Is it necessary to change ROM to use the telephone?

No, i just did it because mine came with CSC for Nigeria. I choose an rom for XEU ( UK/Ireland Unbranded ) because they receive updates faster then others, and is closer to me then Nigeria ^^
ok, i understand.
Is this procedure invalidate warranty?

Samsung Pay

Hi,
I purchased my S7 from UK recently but am based in Singapore. Is there anyway to get Samsung Pay on it?
I have a local Singapore Bank account and can use it with the Samsung Pay as I understand the Samsung Pay is tied to local bank accounts. I wish to do so without tripping Knox (no root to do it - as i might utlize warranty when i visit UK occasionally), and apparently getting the Samsung Pay download can be via changing the CSC. How would one go about doing it?
Also, will changing the CSC via Odin trip Knox?
Thanks!

Hi mate
You are right you need the correc CSC in order to get Samsung PAy to work ( as long as is available in you country)
two options flash a stock rom from your country from sammobile
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
Or check this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/how-to/official-stock-firmware-update-odin-t3369431
Flashing stock firmware with odin will not trip knox.

I don't really understand how home country firmware affects the use of SAmsung Pay. I have a duos S7 with United Arab Emirates firmware, which is not part of the list of countries where it is available according to Samsung site, yet I'm able to successfully sideload the apps and use S Pay here in the U.S.A. Maybe that's just a quirk of the duos S7?

Hi
Not so much the firmware but the CSC ( Country Sales Code) may play a role as Samsung Pay is not available in all countries
http://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/samsung-pay/
In your case been in USA and in a USA carrier may had been decisive
In the case of the G930F and G935F seems to play a role

If it write T model in the back, then it is the T model because you can change the model number in about phone, so maybe the owner changed the model number before you bought the phone. Even so If you are undecided, you can hardreset ur phone and after succesfull bootup u can find out what the phone model is in about phone... :fingers-crossed:

if you have a g955F or g955FD (which i believe both the arab emirates and india have) you can flash an indian csc without a problem.

So you just want the symbol in statusbar to say lte instead of 4g? I really wonder why someone would care, but im pretty sure - when rooted - you can change this easily. Don't know if this changes with different CSCs tho.
Thanks
