Today I need some help with my poppy's/mine (I use it way more then him) Bauhn 9.7" AT-HK97 Tablet. I would like some help with compiling PhilZ Touch Recovery. I was able to successfully download and install CWM Recovery with touch screen controls but PhilZ Touch feels much nicer and i feel it would work better on this device (since its got no volume up or down hardware buttons).
Second Thing... I would like help with making a Android 6.0.1 (or 7) Rom for this device. Please help me with this since im a newbie to building Android from source code (and making Recoveries too). All help would be greatly appreciated.

Also...
For people coming to this thread to learn how to root this device. The working method i used is KingoRoot it has worked for me numerous times.
Greetings @rejm0901
First of all, kudos for the excellect write up It's a breath of fresh air to see this much thought go into a question.
To compile your recovery check out this thread: [DEV]How to compile TWRP touch recovery. As far as I know Philz is no longer supported so you'll have to make do with twrp.
When you're ready to build your rom see this thread: [GUIDE][COMPLETE] Android ROM Development From Source To End
Since your device isn't that common here cyanogenmod might not yet be available. If that's the case then you might have to port CM from a device with similar specs. You can find those instructions on the cyanogenmod wiki if you need them.
Good luck

Money will be put down if this can be ported to the Evo.
Yeah, I'd love it on my Nexus, but I really have no idea about porting or extracting things. I would be happy enough with just the MMS app or the Lockscreen app from this rom, I love that lockscreen.

Also, if you want to add market to the tablet, put the files attached to this forum in the system/apps folder. The tablet comes pre-rooted.
Also, you are going to want to install busybox also attached to this forum.
A friend of mind had brought some for their kids and wanted to see Market could be added. After a few hours of playing with it, it was a success. I'm actually considering buying some for my youngest daughter and grand kids. They're like 60 bucks you can find at Wally World (Wal-mart), Biglots, and Sears

I decided to share some thoughts on a rather new tablet that has been recently introduced on the European market - the GOCLEVER Aries 785.
It comes from a Polish company and is made in China BUT the built quality is on a high level and the features it sports are very decent. And when you add the price - ca. 180 USD excl. taxes - it really is a great bang-for-the-buck device.
So take a look and the unboxing video here:
