Anyone able to change splash screen for Mi 4i?
I check the list in /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/ but there is no splash block.
I presume it is logo so i tried dd that and it comes with logo.img (exactly 8mb in size).
Anyone have succeeded in changing splash screen for mi 4i please tell. Thanks

I flashed my ROM with a flash that included a full screen boot screen, now I try what I read somewhere to create my own boot screen but it does not work, I have my custom boot screen but with the 100 pixel below beeing the ones of the old boot screen. That is weird.

After I re-flashed the stock ROM using Odin I no longer get see a splash screen, only the Samsung "built-in" splash screen.
Anyone know how to activate the Sprint Spark splash screen??
So, I just changed the bootanimation but am eager to change the boot logo..
Like, when I installed thunderzap, it shows the thunderzap splash screen instead of the regular sony splash screen.

You must touch the kernel, need kernel unpacker (bootimg tools) and graphic software for the bootlogo itself.

Well, i fuc**d up my Mi Mix 3, and then I had to replace the screen.
After installation, the device was in bootloop.
When I try normal booting it will switch from "Mi" to "MIX" and the animation at the bottom of the screen will freeze after a couple clicks and it will loop back to restarting (but twice it has just ended with an all black screen). Rebooting from Mi Recovery mode results in the same.
I reinstalled the ROM and the process was OK. But the problem continued. Can anyone help me resuscitate my device?
