EFS folder problem - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hi I've got a problem.
Times ago i updated to another rom and i missed the efs folder.
I can't flash anything without a efs folder.
i tryed to follow guides on internet to make a efs folder via adb, but without success.
Can some share to me a EFS s7 IMG file, to flash it via Heimdall or Odin?

No, you can't share EFS images, they contain the phones unique IMEI, radios and so forth
Try flashing stock, but if you not backed up EFS and wiped everything, you might need to take it for repair

[Q] Some questions about the EFS folder

Hey, I'm new to flashing ROMs. I've heard that backing up your efs is important, so I made a backup using TWRP, and copied the efs folder using ES File Manager to my SD card, and then to my computer. Will I be able to restore the imei and other things by either using TWRP or copying the efs folder back to the root of the phone? Just a question.
Unless you specifically selected EFS as part of TWRP backup - no, you won't.
If you did select EFS for backup in TWRP - yes, you will.
Thanks for clearing that up!

[Q] EFS backup

Hello, i performed an EFS folder backup using EFS Professional. My question is, why it needs Busybox to work? I must have Busybox installed if i need to restore the EFS folder? I'm on 4.2 stock and rooted.
PS: the backup went ok, no errors. There is anothe better way to backup EFS on gt-i9105P?
PS2: Restoring a nandroid backup, also restore the EFS folder?
there is very little chance that your efs folder will be blown up .. now that you have a backup , you need not need to worry .. while flashing roms and wiping dat , and restoring roms via cwm backup and restore you only need to restore the rom and not the efs folder backup .. if in case , you do not find your imei no. or your efs folder and stuff , you can at any given time restore it manually .. correct me if i am wrong but that is how it works . all the best and Happy Flashing

[Q] EFS Partition changes or still the same before unlocking and after flashing?

When we are on stock OOS (before unlocking the bootloader also) with no root or any modifications. Then the EFS partition is completely untouched.
Whenever we are flashing anything a mod a rom or whatever some zips can damage the efs partition. Even though it has only happened to me on a Samsung device before never in a OP device. I'm still wondering if after we have flashed things is the Efs partition still untouched?
So if I made a backup of it after flashing a ROM is it the exact same EFS as when I was on STOCK OOS?
The EFS contains the modem and IMEI, the backup will be the same as long as you haven't modified the EFS.

Okey thanks The EFS and modem partitions have different very sizes. So the efs can't contain the modem or am I wrong? There is Bluetooth, dsp and modem files inside the modem backup folder and only efs files in efs backup folder.

Recover efs manually with old Backup

I lost the funcionality Phone in my N8000. I think i lost the imei e someone more else. How can i restore my efs? I have a backup of my efs in format zip and format tar made 5 years ago ( i dont remember what application i used) , but i can not install via Odin or via Twrp, said Invalid Zip format on checking Digest File. I think the problem is checking the md5 generation that is not compatible with Odin and Twrp.

Thanks
It is not solved, when reboot the system, the imei of phone, N8000 is another, is from another file from i used to recover.
Manually from my backup what files and permissions i have to copy to the /efs in root of my N8000? First i copy nv_data.bin, nv_data.bin.md5 and the folder /imei and works. I do not known the original permissions of the files, perhaps now the problem is this.
Someone can help me?
Thanks
With this guide "[GUIDE] Recover your IMEI in 9 steps. " https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/guide-recover-imei-9-steps-t1264021 , i resolved my problem with imei, no problems with reboot, but now i did not have access to Wifi, i can not connect to my Wifi Network.
Someone can help me, how can activate wifi? What files i need to copy from my backup? Before clean the /efs i made a backup the old efs.
Thanks
