[Q] Phone not recognized by PC, still charging

Recently I found out that my PC is not recognizing my Nexus S, the usb mass storage notification is missing too. I tried to update the PC drivers in the Device Manager but not working.

As far as I remember I avoided using fast charge. Right now I am unable to find the fast charge option, maybe the Gummy ROM is not offering it.

Fast Charge is a kernel rather than a ROM feature I think. If it's enabled it won't allow you to connect via usb.
Try rebooting with USB cable connected and see if your device is detected.
Another possibility would be a faulty USB cable.

Hi I have a nexus 4 and I use my phone to download torrents and movies daily but am worried about the battery life so should I download with the charger connected or empty the battery and recharge again thanks alot

Touchscreen not as responsive when charging.

Whenever I charge my phone, my touchscreen isn't very responsive, its very noticable when trying to type or swiping, letters won't press and the swiped item is choppy or doesn't work at all. Only happens when it's charging, as soon as I unplug it works fine. Is that normal or something wrong?

Are you chatge your phone from pc or laptop?

Had the same problem on an old tablet, a new charger and cable fixed it for me. No trouble on my N5 however.

Trying to charge my phone

Hi,
I'm trying to charge my phone by connecting it to my tablet but the tablet cuts the power to the USB port when its locked
Is there a fix for this?

So i connect my phone to.computer and it just says slow charge i unistall usb software then reinstall..... Npthing just slow charge i plug into xbox to charge and it gives me software option
