Hi all,
there's something strange or some I'm missing about this simple function. I'm used to my old Gear Fit functionality that turn off watch screen and vibration if I refuse an incoming call by pressing any phisical button... with GS2 smartwatch is not the same: pressing home button just stop vibrating on incoming call, but screen still remains lit , is it intended and there's any way to let it turn off when incoming call is manually refused?
Thanks all for support.

Is it possible to disable the "hold" feature on the call status screen? I'm left handed and every time I pick up a call my face touches the screen and puts the call on hold.
Or can i change the HOLD button's position on the keypad?
Call Status Features (When i make a call):
Speaker On Mute Hold
Note Contatcs End
Thanks!
Haha, funny, but I want to find the answer to this too. I sometimes End the call or press Speaker On when it touches my face.
try to find caller from forum Development and Hacking with somethig like a slide locking features off caller... i think it's from opal but i dont relly sure
Easiest, since it's a built-in feature, is to press the power button before raising the phone to (and touching) your face. This will turn off the screen, making it impossible to touch any of the on-screen buttons AND will NOT disconnect your phone call. Using the red end-call button to hang up will cause the screen to automatically come back on so you can continue using your device. If you need to use something on the device (contacts, calendar, etc) while still on the call, press the power button again and the screen will light back up - all without messing up your call.

The dude has the answer. Nice!
Does anyone know how to activate the keypad (e.g. the four buttons on the bottom of the HD) during the screen is off.
If the screen is off:
They only work during a call is active.
Otherwise they do not work.
Any idea how to change this?
if you mean when you press the on button on the pda then
it don't just turn the screen off it susped the whole device
stopping all activities apart from being able to recieve calls, sms's emails
and react to notifications

No I mean screen off. On HD. power, vol up and down still work.
BUT the 4 keys under the screen do not unless
a call is active...
Hi
During a call if you press the power button once it mutes the ringing but if you press it again in rejects the call.
How can I make it so that it can only mute during call but not reject the call ?
The reason is that I have my phone in my pocket upside down and when I get a call I sometimes reject a call.

Anybody ?
Usually my power buttons just turns the screen off or ends call.. it doesn't mute ? Are you on stock ?
Sent From My Sexy Sensation.
Use the volume buttons to mute the call.
What I want is for the power button to not end the call.
same question here...
Not sure if this setting is the solution:
Settings -> Accessibility -> Power button ends call
You could try unchecking it
I dont have that option in accessibility.
Doesnt it give you the option to reject the call when it comes in. Im asking because I have the option to accept or reject a call when it comes in from home screen ? If you don't have that option, you can simply use the volume key to reject by turning off or down volume. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Yes it gives me the option but twice pressing the power button causes reject call. This happens every time when i try to pull the phone from my pocket. So i want to disable this feature, twice pressing power button rejection.... :banghead:
I was wondering if there is any possible way to have to camera button end a call while on a call, and work regularly as the camera button usually does when not on a call. I know there is an option to have to power button end the call, but I prefer to power button to turn the screen of during a call so I don't accidentally hit mute / hangup / dialpad with my face.
So, is it possible?
Hello!
My s10e has Android 9.
My phone was turned OFF before the meeting. But it is a 2-hour one, so I want to check my messages. But when I do Power On, then message(s) notification sound would be heard :-(
No time to swipe down and click on a speaker icon - are there any BUTTONS combination? I've read that Android 9 has a short-cut:
simultaneously press volume-up and power button to silence both ringer and notification, but for some reason it does not work on my s10e.
Any other buttons-based solution? Can it be done before I swipe to see my home screen?
Don't know any kind of key combination, but instead of turning it off prior the meeting, use DND or mute to avoid this kind of situation.
