Ok so yesterday morning I woke up to my phone being dead of charge. I plugged in the charger and proceeded to powering it on. This is where the problem begins. The HTC logo with red text would appear and then the screen would go black. So basically it was in a bootloop. I waited for like 5 minutes and it was still in the loop. So, I went into recovery and wiped the cache and dalvik cache. I rebooted the phone, still in a bootloop. I did a factory reset from TWRP recovery, rebooted, and still bootlooping. Then, I took out the SD Card, did another factory reset, still BOOTLOOPING! Lastly, this is what caused me to be where I am now. I wiped system, data, dalvik cache, and cache. So now, everytime I want to reboot or turn off the phone, TWRP tells me there is NO OS Installed. NOW I AM DESPERATE FOR ANY HELP ON THIS SITUATION! PLEASE REPLY WITH ANY SOLUTION YOU HAVE!
Can u go into TWRP mode? If u can, then pull your stock rom from pc to sd card and flash it with TWRP

My phone is a HTC One M9 Sprint with bootloader unlocked and S-On

So i started by downloading the new gingeritis 3d beta 5. I rebooted into recovery, wiped data, cache, and dalvik cache. installed the rom just fine. I rebooted the phone and it just kept showing the splash screen and going black then splash again. I did a battery pull and went to bootloader then to recovery. When i try to install a different rom or do a restore the phone reboots right in the middle of the install/restore.
What do you think the problem is. Can i flash a different rom from the bootloader? is the recovery bad?
Or as a last resort do I have to flash the "Custom upgrade PG05IMG_MR1_upgrade.zip" from the "root your thunderbolt" thread in the bootloader?
Thanks

Try going back into recovery and wipe the three you've stated again, also "format /system" in mounts and storage. It could be something's not getting wiped properly and creating your problem. Then try installing a ROM. If that doesn't fix your problem then replace your recovery with the one I've attached. Copy it to the root of your SD card and install it from the bootloader. If your recovery is the problem that should fix it. Once you've done that try installing a standard ROM like one of the rooted OTA http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1161251
Thanks for the help and the attachment. I will try it whe n i Get home since im at work. Whenever i try to wipe anything its like im on a time limit where it will restart ofter like 30 seconds no matter what i do.

I just remembered that another person had the same problem as you and it turned out that the Micro SD card was the problem. It makes sense since your installing the ROM from the Micro SD card and then the card craps out causing the reboot. If you don't have another Micro SD card you could format the one you have and that might fix it. Of course you would lose any data on the card.
I tried the new recovery, a new sd card, still same problem. Is there something i can flash in bootloader? like the PG05IMG_MR1_Upgrade? or something else?

You could download an RUU http://dougpiston.com/ThunderBolt/R..._NV_8k_1.41_9k_1.64_release_182727_signed.zip and rename it to PG05IMG.zip. That will do a factory restore from the bootloader. You would then need to root the phone again. It's possible the memory on your phone is damaged creating the reboots, Lets hope that's not the case.
Thanks! at least that worked.

Awesome, glad you're up and running again. Remember to delete or rename the PG05IMG.zip on your SD card or next time you go into your bootloader it will try to install the restore RUU again. I've done that before.
i was installing one one of the kernel and i freezes at the gx2 logo, so tried recovery and it just sits at the gx2 screen. how bad did i mess it up?

After you flash a kernel the first boot does take a couple minutes, but flashing another rom should do it

Just boot into recovery, factory reset it, clear the Dalvik cache, format the system and install the stock GB rom or another rom. If you don't clear the Dalvik cache and wipe the system before installing roms or kernels you get bootloop problems such as this. Your phone is okay. The G2X is virtually unbrickable. It just gets indigestion form operator error when flashing roms.
ok so i factory reseted, cleared the cache and the dalvic. my phone wont read the gb stock rom, i dl unto my external card

Did you do a Nand Backup with CWM before flashing the kernel? If so, restore the phone how it was before you mucked it up.
Ok, So i rooted my T-mobile G2x 2.3.3 and there were difficulties when i flashed the Cyanogen 7mod. The Rom worked but the only default was i didnt get data. Like i couldnt even get Edge. The only way to use internet and stuff was through wifi. SO then i reflashed it thinking it was a bad flash. But when i reflash through rom manager it gives me the option to downoad with google apps. so i clicked that option. It downloaded fine but on the reboot it stayed stuck on the 2nd LG screen. Am i bricked or if anyone can help id appreciate it alot.
U can't do it via rom manager. U have to flash recovery using nv flash, then u can try to flash custom rom. Remeber to wipe data and format system before flashing any rom.
U r not bricked yet
Check here to nv flash the cwm

Did you flash CWM via NV Flash. If not, do that. Then boot into recovery by holding down the power + volume down keys until you get the second boot logo. Then wipe the dalvik cache and the regular cache. That is usually why a phone refuses to boot.
Also, if your phone turns on it is not bricked. Bricked means when you press the power button nothing happens at all. You can be soft-bricked like you are, but it can be easily fixed. Nothing to panic about.
I did all of that im sorry if i gave you info wrong. Like i cant do anything it turns on but goes to the first LG screen then goes to the new LG screen with the blue streaks and it stays there. Then when i try to go into CWR it shows the LG with a blue and black loading bar below then shows as if its loading something then it just goes back to the blue LG screen and im stuck there.

You have stock recovery on the recovery partition, not CWM. You MUST flash CWM onto the physical recovery partition using NVFlash with the One Click flasher. You used Rom Manager and that doesn't install CWM onto the recovery partition. Once you have CWM properly installed you can enter recovery and revive your phone.

@OP, this is is correct. Use tga gunmann's nvflash tool from the development section. The process is super easy. Just make sure to follow his instructions closely. Just fyi, most people get errors during the nvflash process because they don't install the apx drivers appropriately, so take your time and read the instructions carefully.

Start off by wiping cache and then go to Advanced and wipe dalvik cache. If you still can't boot after that then try a full factory reset.
Just remember the first boot after wiping dalvik cache can take several minutes as android rebuilds the dalvik cache. All subsequent reboots will be MUCH faster.

Did you do as phburks said and go into advanced and wipe the Dalvik Cache. Most issues of not booting are related to the Dalvik Cache not being wiped after flashing a new rom. That is essential to getting your phone to boot again. A factory reset DOES NOT clear the Dalvik Cache.

The reason I ask is that with cm7 you have to flash 2 separate zip files. First you flash the actual cm7 zip which installs the rom and then you flash the gapps zip which installs the Google apps (market, gmail, etc). Make sure you have both on your sdcard and then flash the rom first and gapps second.

Im glad you brought that up because when i first flashed Cyanogen i did also flash gapps but after i flashed gapps thats when i wouldnt get data. Do you know the reason for this? or was it could have been another bad flash?

Not sure. I'd just play it safe, re-download both, wipe data, and reflash both. Sometimes its hard to determine which step went wrong and its best and quicker to just start with a clean slate and redo everything.
I wont be able to post for a while so good luck.
Today I tried doing the box.net trick to get 50gb free, so I editted my build.prop, then I rebooted. But it got stuck at the Galaxy Tab plus screen. So I tried reflashing via Odin. Now it booted, but now it is stuck at the Samsung boot screen.
So now I am running out of options, I tried mounting USB, but errors keep showing up. Please help. Thanks.
EDIT: Just to add on, using P6200.
Enters into recovery mode performs a wipe date , factory reset ,wipe dalvilk ,reboot..

I did attempt that as well, now waiting for boot in the past 15 minutes.
EDIT: Tried 3 firmwares, and all didn't work out.
Anyway maybe I had some useful information. Apparently I could not mount my internal SD card for some reason. So does wiping my internal SD help?
OK managed to salvage the situations. Thanks anyway. :victory:

Why create a new thread?
Full wipe/factory reset, then flash the entire factory image set.
Look here if you don't know what to do:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/goo...urce-guides-info-threads-linked-read-t2784527
I've done it more than 10 times the full wipe and still not working. Same with factory flashes...

Are you trying to flash the lollipop or kitkat factory image?
Anyway, after flashing when you get the bootloop, go to fastboot and flash a custom recovery and then do a factory reset, cache and delvik cache wipe. This should do the trick.

Try flashing a kitkat rom by the "Ncry" tool. Click the Restore menu button and select device and rom.

Flash the whole image (radio, image, bootloader) in fastboot by typing in cmd: flash-all. This will wipe the device but will not cause problems.

Looks like a hardware problem. Either Google RMA or LG Repair.
I bought it in Amazon
May i have rma if I bought on Amazon?
LG Chile doesnt has official repair...
So I had to buy another cell, a moto x 2014.. Bye nexus
it looks like hardware is at fault, can you relock the bootloader?, do that if so, i dont know if amazon do rma, contact them and find out,
strange if you get no issues while flashing,
I think so. I will check about invoce and RMA.
Thank all of you
