Hi folks. I have recently bought mentioned phone and after being used half an hour it got stuck in a bootloop. The problem is that after trying to install RUU ( Evita 3.18.502.6 ) I encounter one problem . After clicking all required buttons And ruu is suposed to be installed phone automaticly powers down (error 171 shows up). I have tried many times but an error occures all the time. Please help if You can. Thanks in advance.

I do have the same problem with my RUU flash with the new Rogers RUU. Stuck at 54% when device starts updating at step[4] "system". Phone will show "unzipping" for over an hour and eventually failed with error code [155].
I tried the Magic-RUU_Sapphire_ChungHwa_3.03.751.4_R_release_signed_NoDriver.exe but still the same problem. Can anyone help here?

the loading bar almost finishes when i get and error and the screen on my phone
just show htc logo and "!" in each corner please help i bought phone from telstra

I need to fix this phone for my friend but i am stuck
This is info about phone:
I've tried so far:
1.Unlocking via HTCDev - i got the Unlock code and the unlock screen on my phone,i selected Yes to unlock but when i restarted it is still locked,i tried that two times.
2.RUU - i tried this RUU RUU_K2_UL_ICS_40_HTC_Europe_1.17.401.5_R_Radio_0.12.40.00.14_2_10.49.40.11L_release_301902_signed but it always stuck on verifying phone data.
3.RUU to RUU.zip - I copied the ROM.zip from win TEMP folder to SD Card,renamed it to PL80IMG.zip but it always come to Rom parsing,then stops and return to HBOOT screen and of course nothing happens.
I also tried many other things but also failed to resolve this problem.
Please help
EDIT:I installed HTCSync and manage to get past "verifying phone data." in RUU and began the process of flashing.
BUT another problem appeared.
This is the process of RUU:
1.Rebooting to Bootloader - OK
2.Then my phone of course again run into bootloop and the result is:
3.Waiting for Bootloader and error 171 USB connection problem..
I think that this phone or haunted or hardware defective...
i have this problem too , but ...
i install TWRP version 2.7 (that version offer in xda for htc one sv) and finally i reach to TWRP , then i install ViperSV_1.5.0 , i have that stuck again , i just wait and watch for 1 or 2 minute and BOOM...!!!

Unfortunately it can not help me because I can not unlock the bootloader.
I have a htc one x phone and i have recently downloaded a software update .When i try to install it the phone powers off , restarts and then the screen goes off instead of showing the installation process...what might be the problem and how can i solve it ?...Thanks in advance

Have you tried updating manually ? There is a guide in post 3 of this thread on how to install latest stock firmware

Same here, tried unlock bootloader thru THCdev, fastboot says successful ,OK, but phone does not get the next screen, for unlocking. Tried 100 times.
I have RUU and ZIP, but when device reboot after 20 seconds RUU crashes. In log file says:
The input file() DOES NOT exist
Any other suggestions here ?

i think you need the original firmeware. mine is from Uk. so there is on htcdev.com kernel files but how to upload it on the phone ?
