[Completed] Sony Xperia - Kingroot lost after restart - XDA Assist

Hi all,
I have a query and I hope you can help me. If this is a wrong forum please direct me to the correct one.
I have a Sony Xperia Z3 (D6653) on Android 5.5.1. I have done following -
I installed kingroot from their website and ran it. I got root access which was checked by root checker.
When I restarted, I lost my root access.
Having done some reasearch, I proceeded to unlock the boot loader. It has now been unlocked successfully but the phone was reset to factory setting.
I have then tried the king root method. Again I got the root access, but lost it after reboot. I thought unlocking the boot loader will fix this but it hasnt.
Please help and advise what options I have now ?
Regards

I have got a very quick question to ask and hope somebody can help me. I have got an Xperia play R800i. I used a program called SuperOneClick to root my phone. After using this program I got superuser access so that means my phone is rooted. But how do i unlock the bootloader.
Because according to the sony erricsson website when i type in that code *#*#7378423#*#* into my phone it says that i can not unlock my bootloader. I dont understand if i have rooted my phone my bootloader should be unlock write. Please correct me if i am wrong.

What I would do is a clean re-install via PCC/SUS to the latest firmware-that way the the root files are cleaned up, then root via the method faizalotai has linked to.
Also you may want to refrain from using VRoot. Apparently it was deemed risky on XDA recently, I can't find the post saying so but am sure I've read it somewhere.
rooting and bootloaders have nothing to do with each other.
you can root and not unlock the bootloaders
or
you can unlock your bootloaders and not root
Rooting gives you admin level access on the phone, to change system files and access stuff a normal android phone can't unless rights for applications can be elevated to root.
Unlocking the bootloaders allows custom kernels that are flashed to the phone to boot.

[Completed] Xperia M2 Aqua D2403 Kingo Root

Hello people of XDA, I don't know if this is the right place for the post, I'm sorry if it isn't. I have a problem with Kingo Root, I used it to root my BL locked M2 Aqua (D2403), root checker confirms root, but whenever I try to use anything with root, even if I grant access it says I don't have root (Xposed, BusyBox, Root browser, ROM Toolkit). Now I'm guessing it just pasted the files and my guess is that root checker works only by seeing if the SuperUser program grants it permission. As I've seen a lot of people have had problems with rooting the device, so I just want to give up and restore unroot. The problem is, I can't remove the SuperUser app from Kingo Root, I've tried substituting it with SuperSU via the Terminal, but as it is not rooted properly, it cannot be done, aswell as trying to unroot with Kingo Root, but failed, so I want to ask you if there is a way for me to remove this, and maybe possibly root the device with the bootloader locked? Thanks in advance!
Hi there
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. There definitely isn't a dedicated section for your device on XDA, however a quick search uncovered the following thread:
[Q] Root Xperia M2 Aqua(D2403)
It doesn't seem very positive at first but take a look at post #9, he links to a root method that he says works. So I'd start there.
Good luck

[Completed] ZTE MAX DUO LTE (Z963vl) ROOT HELP.

Hello everyone I have managed to root the ZTE MAX DUO LTE (Z963vl) with KingRoot but the root is not perminate it goes away after you reboot the phone.. I figure that the reason for this is because the bootloader is still locked. I also can not write to /system with lucky patcher which again tells me the bootloader is locked even though the phone is rooted. Does anyone have any way to fix this without a PC? Also I almost forgot to mention that it won't let you update BusyBox either. I waited a very long time for this phone to acquire root but it's almost useless with the bootloader being locked. I can't even flash a recovery like CWM or TWRP. Please help as much as you can thank you.
