Based on GSMArena the 3G bands are HSDPA 850/900/2100, so it will work in 850 with AT&T, but there are areas where you'll need 1900 to get 3G and you would only get Edge.
I'm not sure if GSMArena info is accurate but I understand that there should be a HTC One S for T-Mobile and that would require 1700/2100 so there's another coming with different bands or GSMArena is wrong...
There were posts on a number of blogs such as engadget that the t-mobile variant had AWS bands plus 850/1900 for AT&T. That would be great if it did. Wondering if the band specification was determined before the merger fell apart.

[Q] Do I have the Global Version of the Moto G.

Baseband MSM8626BP_1032.355.66.00R
System Version 174.44.1.falcon_umts.Retail.en.US
Build Number KXB20.9-1.10-1.24-1.1
I'm supposed to have the Global GSM version but I can't find out how to confirm this. Can someone please confimr hif it's the US version or the Global Version. It's unlocked and I'd rooted it.
Thank you.
You've got the Global version.
The "1032" in your baseband
System version, since the XT1034 would read AWS somewhere in there. (Although this can be changed by cross-flashing firmwares.)
If you're in an urban area and have decent coverage with XT Mobile NZ, you've got the Global version, as it has 2100 MHz band support, which the US version doesn't. (It uses 2100 MHz + 1700 MHz for the AWS band, which a different thing. Got the info about the XT Mobile network off Wikipedia.)
Just a side-note, but baseband on all models states '1032' - so it's not an indicator of which handset you have.

Uk version in us?

Would the version on sale now in the UK at carphonewarehouse work in the US?
Depends on your carrier
I don't see why not but Funk2641 makes a good point. Check which bands your carrier utilizes to see if they match what's offered.
You can also check willmyphonework.net and put in the phone's info there.

T-Mobile and band 71?

Can anyone help me understand the new frequency, and whether or not the U.S. unlocked (SM-A515U1) works with it. I'm rocking a day-old A51 on Google Fi and the level of detail about this is a bit over my head. Thanks!!
According to Samsung's website the US version has band 71.

Question Work 8n Kuwait?

I'm about to take a contract to work in Kuwait for the next year. If I got the USA version, would it work in Kuwait? Is there a different version that would be better to get?
Thank you in advance!
Determine the service provider you will be using, find out what bands they support, and then check the Asus site or the posts about bands to find which version will work best.
