I have one, and it's rooted, can't seem to find a recovery that works. I'm looking for twrp or cwm if it's out there. I can get a system dump if that will help.
Any help or ideas appreciated.

Well I can't answer your question, but can you please share how you've attained root? Thanks!
Used Kingroot..(says rootool on the package) seems to work fine-isn't causing any crazy problems or anything. Link https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7UA65P6VE4dUjFlTW54RDlfNjQ/view?usp=sharing
Hope it works for you. I like the phone, but they're making it as hard as they can to do anything fun with it, it seems. I'm hoping someone takes it as a challenge and comes up with a working TWRP.

Hmm.... lemme take a look at that again and I'll try and repost if I can fix it.
OK, the way to do this is root with kingroot 4.9 and then reboot and make sure it works (reboot and check it). Then go to google play store and find Supersume, pay for it and run it- it replaces kingroot with SuperSU and cleans out all the kingroot files. Worked like a charm for me. Then you can flash Lopestoms modified CWM with Flashify (also in the Play Store and a good thing to have in any case). Use the modified CWM here-don't use anything else-use this one. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5W...JraE5WeHc/view
Worked like a dream for me. You MUST use Kingroot 4.9 or lower or Supersume won't work. Link for Kingroot I used-it's zipped, you'll have to unzip it first https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7...jF6OFRPc29rZFU
Special thanks to Lopestom for the modified CWM and gatesjunior for Supersume-let'em know they're doing good work!!
Oh, I think the modified cwm displays upside down..and you have to use the buttons to navigate.

So basically, to save time, I will cut the story time and get to the point. Basically, right now my phone is able to boot into the STOCK recovery mode, but has no ROM installed. when powered on with just the power button, the samsung splash screen shows, then the screen goes black, and thats it.
I am limited by the fact that the stock recovery requires a signed update.zip package to execute it, and have tried to get things to "sign" my own packages but it has not been working. I have the CWM ver. 3.2 update.zip and it was working before with a modified stock recovery that did not check for signatures.
So far it seems there is not a single ROM out there for my phone that is signed that I can flash. If someone knows of one that will even let me get rom manager installed and get things sorted that way that would be awesome! That is really my last idea here, not sure how to flash a new recovery from the terminal or using odin or the android SDK or whatever.
any info is appreciated!
EDIT: most all of the links for useful downloads here are to multiupload.com......which just re-direct to a spam site!!
Use the guide in the second link of my signature.

Hi!
I am new to xda. I hope that someone will find time and answer me. I have rooted my nexus s (4.1.2) using this metode from the site of nexusshacks. At first everything seemed to go OK. But no I have superuser installed on my phone and when i update it it says that my phone is not rooted. But i still managed to install custom rom (strawberry) and it works. But every thing that needs root premision i cant use. Not titanium backup nothing. Can somebody help me. At tutorial it's said that i need to do flashing twice and it will be ok but it is not. And now i am afraid to anything. I would like to unroot phone instal stock android (not any rom) and than do it again.
Pleas help me!

You don't need to re-install stock. You probably don't have the binary installed properly and that's why it's giving you trouble.
Simply flash either SuperSU and SuperUser and that should be fine.
You can get either one from here:

I wouldn't know, it would be better for you to ask in the Strawberry thread.
A lot of problems can be fixed simply by reflashing either the rom or the kernel. You could try reflashing Strawberry without wiping anything and also after that fixing permissions. Good luck.
So yeah. Anyone have a stock rom dump I could grab and reflash with? I managed to brick mine doing a merge updates into rom with titanium backup before taking a dump of my rom. It appears that the stock rom hasn't been posted on nvidia's site yet. If not, I can wait
The source is available and I'm currently syncing. If I'm able to make anything useful I will post it up and let you know.

The source compiled. I don't think I have it all together in a nice package (IMG/zip) yet, but I'll dig through it once I get home tonight.
Anyone who want's to give this a try go ahead. I haven't tried it yet. I followed Nvidia's build instructions and built the factory preinstalled build. You need to have your bootloader unlocked, all of the files flash using fastboot. Hopefully this will work for anyone having issues until Nvidia gets a factory image out.

I gave it a try. I also posted in the dev section with a little more info. It will boot just it doesn't have the play store/nvidia apps. So I kinda screwed myself there by trying it since I was fine before hand. Oh well :silly:. I'll push the google stuff and play with it later.

I believe the nvidia apps are all on the playstore. I saw the link for nvidia hub showing up on my nexus 7. That'd be pretty nice to be honest (assuming there aren't any special drivers needed) having a super clean device.

Found an odd issue. When I let my tablet idle to sleep, the touch screen stops responding. If I lock it with the button it doesn't do that. Do you have the same issue? Thanks again for all your help with the build! It's nice just having a useful device again
I'm getting some odd things on reboot too. The screen looks all messed up for a minute then it corrects itself. I'll try the OTA0 build nvidia has listed too and see if that's any better. Won't be until tomorrow night at least.

Hey guys, so I just found out about this site and am a super noob but managed to Root my ATT S7 last night. I have been trying to install the Xposed framework but it looks like I cant get a custom recovery program onto my S7. Does anyone know how to get TWRP or CWM or any custom recovery onto the 930A? Or for that matter, Xposed install without a custom recovery?

Sure, I'll start from the beginning in case any other new people are wondering.
Basically, back up your files and restore your phone to factory so the root goes smoother.
Then proceed to this thread for the root. Oh yeah, install adb if you don't have it. They dont mention it and assume you know what it is, which noobs like me don't.
After a clean root, install Flashfire (you may need to disable samsung updates and reset the phones clock back to 2012 or something if Flashfire doesn't want to start). I used 0.31, maybe the newest will work? Easy to find in google.
On page 8 of the Root thread, there is a dropbox link to the Xposed apk and zip (Here). Move them to your phone and install the apk, then use Flashfire to boot the zip.
I think that's pretty much it, Xposed should be running after the Flashfire reboot (which can take a long time as it will Optimize apps).
psouza4 has an awesome thread on what to do after Root and Xposed to make the phone run smoother.
If you do something wrong and absolutely can't fix it, see here for re-flashing back to stock.
Hope this helps someone, took me about 2 days to search all of this out. The AT&T S7 is such a pain in the ass with it's locked bootloader, but this place is > AT&T!

So i was finally able to install TWRP after rooting using this guide from @Casey Campanile
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/alcatel-onetouch-flint-root-t3440088
**You must have ROOT first**
So it is actually pretty simple,
*Download the file i uploaded
*Unzip the TWRP file
*Download FlashFire
Now I did have OEM Unlock in Developer Settings and BusyBox installed when I did this, not sure if it makes a difference.
*Make sure BusyBox is up to date
1. I suggest doing a backup
2. Flash the TWRP file that you unzipped as Firmware Package
3. Done
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WIPE DEVICE THROUGH THE OPTION IN SETTINGS!!!
P.S. all this is done at your own risk. im not responsible for any bricked devices.
Thanks for the edit suggestions @Casey Campanile

I can't believe no one has thanked you or at least said good going on this.I've had my Flint for about 6 months and used it as a backup mostly.I was sitting at work tonight waiting on the boss and I decided to look up and see if anyone had did anything with the Flint yet.I was floored when I came across your post. Everything is working great with TWRP but if I let it timeout and screen go dark it won't allow me to swipe to unlock. Not a big deal to me but I wanted to report it to you since no one else seems to be commenting on this.I appreciate your hard work and taking the time to do it. Great job!!! ? ??

I've got an issue with TWRP I can't seem to find anything on.Wanted to see if you could help me figure it out.Initially after installing all was well.Made a backup and rebooted.Today,a month later I wanted to do a factory reset and Initially tried via settings/backup/device reset. It just rebooted back to home screen.I then rebooted into TWRP and tried via wipe but nothing will mount. My SD card won't even mount and everything shows all 0's.Any ideas?I'm not a noob by any means but I can't figure this one out.

No it didn't.I couldn't get anything to mount in recovery to complete a wipe.I think perhaps that we should do a warning about trying to wipe from backup/reset in settings. At least until we figure this out.I was finally able to do a reset via Flash fire but nothing will mount in recovery still.

That's pretty impressive I'm gonna look into that one, one thought just crossed my mind you try flashing your recovery through the fastboot commands on the bootloader?
I tried reflashing every way possible.Still nothing will mount.I think you may want to add a warning to the OP not to try and factory reset via settings.Maybe we can figure it out.
I added it to the OP. Something that might help is when I was digging thru this phone I found out it's the same as the Alcatel pop 3 5.5 looks like they just renamed it
