guys i m finding rom for galaxy sl but i couldn find the right 1 to flash with odin plzz helpo me to choose right 1 and tell the procedure for rooting to..

Bro custom roms have to flash via cwm recovery not odin.
Odin is for flashing stock roms and kernels.
If you do a search in xda for sure you find the way for root every stock rom, all custom roms are rooted.
Just read, theres a lot of treads answering your questions.

Hey guys,i m new to ths site and this stuff. I using galaxy s4 GT-i9505 running stock kitkat 4.4.2 .i am on TWRP recovery..i m trying to flash android L on my phone.it is google play edition [unofficial] ....there are 2 files in the folder, 1. JFLTE-GPE-20150105.zip 2. JFLTE-GPE-20150105.zip.md5 .i know i have to get into recovery [TWRP] then i got no ideo what to do ...HOPE SOME ONE CAN HELP ME i am new so i want to learn this stuff...

Thx for the reply..one more thing, I have backed up nandroid...from my TWRP if somthing goes wrong while flashing or I dont like the new rom..is it posible to get back to stock touchwiz (wich I have backedup using twrp)with the restore functionality in twrp? Plz dont give me a link to reffer...d thx a lot for answer

It should restore. But if there's anything special to know.... That's why I suggested asking further questions on the help thread dedicated to your device in my last link.
And giving links is actually what we do on Assist. ?

HI.. I am currently using a custom ROM, so what should I do to install another ROM
is there any additional procedures...?
any problems with kernel, baseband, android version etc...?
I have galaxy y GT-S5360
now I am using CM7-Android L By TeamNexus_2 ROM.
I want to install hyperion 9 final build ROM.

First, how did you flash your first custom rom ?
Is there a thread here at xda for the rom you wanted to flash?
Usually these instructions are indicated on OP.
You are always asked to do a back up in case something goes wrong.
Check with the developer on what special precautions are needed..
Asking is never a problem, just make sure to read and understand..

I recently bought an s6edge+ from somebody and he has the note7 port running on it (n930f) . I would like to port to s7 edge. If any one could assist me. Would be grateful. I want to know if I should use the original device model number (ie sm-g928c) or sm-930f (rprogressive) which was the note 7 port when trying to port to the s7 edge. Please help and send me the instructions to follow...

Oh ok ..thanks. Another problem ...is a rom the same as a port .the phone doesn't appear to have root as su requests I update binaries .I want to know the best way to root .if I should specify the model number as a note7 model number as that's the port I am using or the original model number g928c. Need i instructions. Sorry if I am sounding a bit silly .Am an apple person and recently got the android .thanks

U have custom rom on ur device so u have custom recovery like twrp ,
Download supersu zip from this thread & flash it

& u can look on ur forum & u will see the rom n7 port thread there & u can keep it up to date & all bugs listed there & the fixed should be there

Ok. Thanks.... but twrp folder has nothing in the folder when I check in the file. Or it's pre-installed

U should check it by boot to twrp mate , check ur forum for more details ok
