Hi all, I am analyzing to buy the Gear S2 (non 3g) as smartwatch and a fitness tracker, the first question is if after the last update has Auto sleep tracking and if also could be compared with a fitness device?
Thanks a lot.

Hi people!
The fact is that I'm using a lot these last days my smartwatch 2 with endomondo and a geonaute band to control pulse but endomondo extension needs an update.
It seems it has been the same since smartwatch 1, and it's a bit ugly and doesn't support low battery mode. So if I want to see my pulse I have to press the button twice to turn on the screen while running! And that's annoying!
If they add low battery mode the screen would be on all the time! And it would be easier to run.
If you are endomondo users please vote for this feature in the next link, where they get ideas for the future
Thank you!

Hi people! I hope endomondo will update their poor extension for our smartwatch.
In the meanwhile, I've realised that we can use the new widget endomondo 10 brings to show info on the screen al the time combining it with the ap remote widget with low battery mode on
The bad thing is that we'll be able to see just one of the three infos available of the widget due to the small screen of our watch. So you should choose the most important for you, in my case heart rate monitor
A small solution that doesn't fix the full problem, but at least it's more comfortable than having to press the button

Awsome, cant wait. Currently extension look so poor.
I mailed them about that a week ago (even with photos from Endomondo and Runtastic running on my SW2) and got this answer:

Hi Markus,
Thanks for your email.
At the moment, we don't have any plans for a new smart watch integration. I'm sorry.
Best regards,

I really didn't expect them to do anything about it, but confirming it is really bad news!
Maybe runtastic has the exclusive with this model or something but it's a nonsense they don't provide the ap to someone else to do it for them, as I saw in the other forum, where one user offered himself to update it...
At least we can use remote widget with endomondo now ?

Any of You have this extension on their phone (or somewhere else)?
I don't care how it looks, but would love to just have it.
Hi!
I'm using Sony Smartwatch 2 with my Samsung Galaxy SIII (int)(rooted). I want to use my smartwatch 2 with a bluetooth headset together. Is it possible? Replying calls direcly from my watch and talking with headset is my plan.
Thank you.

Hello,
I've been doing precisely that since day 1 when i purchased my SW2, last year.
Besides call handling i can also start/stop/change the music from either the watch or the BT headset.
I use a Jabra Street 2 stereo BT headset with dedicated buttons for play&pause/volume +/-/next/previous track/call and i can do the same actions from my watch as well (which is awesome for motorcycle rides)
Regards.

Its been reported that some BT system in cars talking with the phone, interfere with the BT connection between the phone and the watch.
Making it almost impossible to make a phone call in the car without turning off the watch.
Accordning to experts this is due to limitations in the BT protocol.

I have the same problem with my bt car system. So, is there any way to automatically stop the connection between phone and watch when my car try to connect with my phone?

I have tried to uninstall all call handlings apps. That helps but takes away the possibility of looking at the watch who is calling. In the car that does not matter but it matters in all other cases.
So far I have to ask the person that are calling to wait while I turn of the phone and then it takes about 20 long seconds before the BT in the car works. BTW I have a Chrysler car with Ves system.
stefan
Another way that is working for me is to switch off the watch, switch on the car system and then, when the connection betwen phone and car is done I can switch on again the watch but all this is not confortable.

Hello to all,
As the title suggests, I am looking for an app that limits the input current when reloading the phone.
For example, I use one Xiaomi redmi Notes 2 that charge 1500mah ... I would set it to half (about 800mah).
Can I find a little program like this? Exists ?
Thanks and greetings to all.

Will there be Galileo satellite navigation for the z5 in the future?
No

SD810 supports it but Qualcomm will probably never provide drivers for it.
Quite sad.

Hi, z5c owner here.
Can anybody chime in with some more info?
All recent Snapdragon SoCs that have gps capabilities, including the z5 series carry the same positioning chipset called "iZat Gen8C".
That applies even for the newest socs released last October and at least these have got to support Galileo.
So, can we hope for developers to backport the needed drivers or is it impossible due to some other kind of proprietary software?
It will never be done, it's useless to think about
