[Completed] How to add LTE band 13 to ATT Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925A) - XDA Assist

I would like to add LTE Band 13 to my AT&T Galaxy S6 Edge (Model SM-925A) using Samsung Exynos 7420 Octa-Core processor and Android 5.0.2, so I can use it on Verizon. Other posts here refer to adding LTE bands on Qualcomm processors. Is it possible?

If you have root then add this to your csc/other.xml or features.xml
<CscFeature_SystemUI_ConfigOverrideDataIcon>LTE</CscFeature_SystemUI_ConfigOverrideDataIcon>
Thank you for using XDA Assist ,,

No LTE network? - Seems the N900 is the popular one with non LTE carriers.- Also depends on Samsungs mood I reckon! haha
Depends on the market here in the Philippines we have the octa core and the SD edition..

We too in the Middle East have both the variants of the Note 3 (Exynos & Snapdragon). There is 4G LTE here but some areas are still on 3G, that's why Sammy has both models here.
I don't think the SD800 N3 will ever be available in India (Just look at S4) even though there is 4G in Bangalore. You could always import it from somwhere else like Qatar or Kuwait where there is no Region Lock on the N3.

Support for LTE band 4

The Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3(I535) has the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 plus MSM 8960 processor. The Qualcomm MSM 8960 is capable of supporting LTE band 13 and LTE Band 4(AWS).
The S3 only supports LTE Band 13
Q1. Is there firmware that will make this device support LTE Band4(AWS) also?
Q2. Is there a SW to make VOLTE calls using the S3?
I am looking to unlock LTE Band 4(AWS) on my VzW GS3.
Thanks in advance,
I don’t know anything about the bands but if I'm correct volte is unsupported. I don't think any of the major carriers even support volte.

Verizon does in NYC. You need the right flash.

Galaxy S6 Variants??

Hey I heard that Galaxy S6 will be powered by Exynos. So, I am currently using note 3 and 3G variant is powered by exynos while the 4G one is by Snapdragon qualcomm
So, will all S6 variants be powered by exynos? In fact, will there be a 3G variant ? I need to know that because in note 3 i have had lack development because most awesome roms are for 4G one and I can't install them on my 3G. This time, i am gonna buy 4G one but what model number will 4G S6 be?
All S6/S6E will have Exynos SoC and 4G/LTE.

So , there will be no 3G Variant?
Correct, no 3G-only version. All will have LTE. In the past, Samsung flagships with the Snapdragon SoC had LTE but the Exynos versions did not. Now all S6/S6E will have an Exynos SoC with LTE.

Samsung Galaxy J7108 LTE BAND 20?

Hello, I just bought this phone from China, because it has much better hardware than euroupe version. And I am wondering if there's a way to unlock LTE band 20 (800). Phone runs on Exynos 7580 processor.
I can not find any solution, if there's a possibility to do so, thanks for your answers, folks

S7 G930P questions

Hey,
I saw a S7 G930P for $420 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/232019464665?afsrc=1&rmvSB=true)
I know the CPU differences betweens International version and this one, but I have other questions:
1 - Is it rootable?
2 - If yes, could I install any rom from "Samsung Galaxy S7 (Exynos) ROMs..." ?
3 - Will 4G work on Brazil (LTE 700 (28), LTE 1800 (3), LTE 2600 (7, 38)) ?
4 - Should I pay +100$ to get and International version?
Thanks
