Hey Note 4 friends!
As there is no updated database for bootloaders, modems and kernels, I downloaded all the latest firmwares (about 40 GB) and extracted all the important stuff to share it with you.
All the files you can get here are original (bin and img) files, which I've packed into flashable tar.md5 files.
Without telling huge stories, let's get started!
Installation
I highly recommend you to backup your EFS / IMEI first. You can do it with EFS☆IMEI☆Backup by wanam. Your device needs to be rooted for that.
Extract the rar archive and flash the tar.md5 file with Odin.
Select 'BL' for bootloaders and 'Phone' for modems. Don't rename the tar.md5 files, because that would change their md5 hash. That's it. Enjoy!
If you want to support me, pls hit 'Thanks' or download my apps from my signature
Using Odin (for beginners)
1. Prepare Odin with the files, you want to flash.
2. Turn your device off.
3. Now press and hold power, volume down and home button at the same time (and for some seconds) to boot into download mode. Now you will be asked, if you want to continue. Do so by pressing volume up.
4. Connect your device with your PC. Odin should now recognize your device. If not, install Samsung USB drivers and try again.
5. Click 'Start' and wait some seconds. Whe it's done and your device starts booting, you can disconnect your device. That's it.

Thanks. I've just tesred it. Androidfilehost has a big server issue since some days (as I know they have been attacked, so they changed something). The new uploader seems to have an issue. I got this message now:

Edit: And now the kernels are online too.
Thanks :good:

In a few hours or days Androidfilehost will work again. They just got attacked by hackers some days ago, so they are currently working and making changes on their servers. As you see in the screenshot above they are currently working on a fix and I think it will not take more than 1 or 2 days until ADH works again.

Flashing modems with recovery is possible, but a good rom developer told me that it is more dangerous to brick the device (he has bricked his Note 4 by doing so). If you want I can create and upload flashable zip files, but I highly recommend to flash modems with Odin.

I have put together this list because Uwe303's thread has been noted that it will not be updated any longer. I plan to update this list at least once per month until I no longer use my One S.
If you find any errors or would like me to change anything on the list, please post here. If you have a question about your phone or a particular ROM or kernel, please don't post here, post in Q&A or the ROM's or kernel's thread.
Please read everything in the ROM's or kernel's thread before you flash anything to your phone. I take no responsibility for any damage you cause to your phone, and I will not provide any solutions on how to fix any problems that may arise from the flashing of anything.
Everything in this thread is subject to change at any time. If anything changes, thank the developer! They deserve it! (Hit the thanks button.) I am not an android developer. All of these gorgeous pieces of functional art are products of their creators and I take no credit for their work whatsoever.
“Based on Sense/OTA” does not necessarily mean Rosie is the default launcher.
If you like the ROM or kernel that you flash, thank the developer! (Hit the thanks button!)
Happy flashing!

Did you fastboot flash the boot.img? If you're S-ON you need to get to fastboot mode and flash the kernel first before flashing the newer ROMs.

Here is a full guide on how to unroot and back to official stock firmware for Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 & GT-I9505. It is useful also if you soft brick your phone
!!!DONT TRY FIRMWARES LINKED IN SECOND AND THIRD POSTS ON OTHER VARIANTS!!!Do it on your own responsibility! if you follow this guide properly u will be on the safe side

Before we proceed, make sure:
1-You have installed your Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500/5 USB drivers on your PC (the easiest way is to install Kies).
2-You need to enable USB debugging mode which is deactivated by default. (you can skip it )
3-Your S4 should have 70-80% charge remaining.
4-Your S4 should be factory unlocked. (for locked phone, flash carrier firmware to stay on warranty)
5-Backup your important data like Call logs, SMS and other data stored in phone memory in case if anything goes wrong, your data is not hurt. (For backuping apps and their data and internal sdcard via ADB, see here.)
6-Make sure that kies program is not running & disable antivirus.
This guide is only for Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 & GT-I9505. So don’t bother to try it on other devices.
How to do it:
Step 1) Turn OFF your mobile and go to Download Mode by pressing and holding the Volume Down + Home Buttons together for few seconds followed by Power button then proceed with volume up.
Step 2) Now open ODIN on your PC and connect your Galaxy S4 to your computer.
Step 3) Once your phone is successfully connected to your PC, the ID:COM box on ODIN will turn blue (or yellow) and will show the COM port number.
Step 4) unzip the downloaded firmware, u will get a tar file.
Step 5) click on pda in odin (if odin 3.09 choose AP) and choose the file ".tar"
Step 6) check "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time" options and make sure that "Re-Partition" is unchecked
!!!!DO NOT CHECK "Nand Erase All" IN ANY WAY!!!!
Step 7) Click on Start button in ODIN window to start the flashing process. The process will take few minutes to complete.
DO NOT UNPLUG USB CABLE WHILE EXECUTING THE PROCESS, YOU MAY BRICK YOUR PHONE!
Step 8) When the installation is completed, you read a "Reset " then a "Pass". your phone will restart (first boot will take a longer time so don't panic) :good:
It is recommended to make hard reset after flashing to have a fresh official firmware
Note 1: Personally, i prefer to wipe data and cache before and after flashing the firmware.
Note 2: If you have a corrupted partition table (Odin says: "there is no pit partition" or "Re-Partition operation failed"), flash pit file for your device (attached, dont forget to unzip it) (put it in pit window) with your firmware (some users reported that it worked without firmware), in this case "Re-Partition" must be marked.
Note 3: If you use pit file, and you had an encryption password for your data, the password will reset! so you must hard reset your phone after flashing with pit file with encrypted data.
Note 4: If you want, after rooting with odin, to get official status and reset binary counter ON I9505 for warranty reason, do it before flashing stock firmware, refer to HERE.
Note 5: To change to the new CSC, just boot into recovery, wipe data and cache, reboot. If not use this great app to change your product code (must be rooted).
Note 6: If you flash I9500 stock firmware for China region, it will flash sboot.bin with it, that leads to have a Chinese bootloader (download mode will be in Chinese language and boot splash name will change). Even if you flash other stock firmware, it will not change the bootloader. So flash "GT-I9500_sboot.tar" (attached) as pda in Odin and it will fix the issue. (works on 4.2.2 firmwares!)
Note 7: Once stock 4.3/4.4.2 firmware is flashed, you can not downgrade to a previous version due to the new bootloader.
Odin troubleshooting: If Odin accidentally gives you "fail" try the following:
- Repeat procedure.
- Make sure that all actions of Kies are disabled from task manager.
- Change usb port.
- Try another usb cable (make sure it is the original).
- Try another Odin version.
- Uninstall and re-install driver.
- Use pit file.
- Try another computer.
Bootloop troubleshooting: Bootloop occurs when a smartphone is not able to boot properly and stuck on Bootanimation and mainly caused by system files interfering with each others which cause instability and/or crash at the boot sequence. How to fix:
- Boot the device either into stock or custom recovery mode, wipe cache then reboot, if still, boot again in recovery and wipe data/factory reset then reboot. If not:
- Restore a nandroid backup with custom recovery if present. If not:
- Flash or reflash the official stock firmware. If not:
- Flash stock firmware with the appropriate pit file, after "pass", unplug usb cable, pull battery out for a minute, insert it, boot into recovery, wipe data and cache, reboot.

Different csc. I will post NEE

Which will be the steps to change a COA(Romania) firmware with NEE in order to receive future OTAs ?
Is it difficult to change the CSC in phone to match the firmware to make it recognizable in Kies?
I like more NEE and I've used this in S2 and S3.
Thanks

Soft brick in S4 i9500
Friends, I have a problem!!!
I did the actualization on my S4 and I was trying to put more space in my SDcard, when I turned it off when it was trying to unmount internal SDcard (it was my fault because I was changing the vold... file)..
So, When I was boot it, the phone just go in recovery mode and couldnt mount any file (always in mount files error).
I can access recovery mode, but I cant mount or unmount any directories (always in error).
I can access the phone in ODIN, and I tried to re-install the original FW. It did well, but the phone cant finish the instalation because it cant mount anything.
I think the phone have the files or partition corrupted!!! I'm trying to use adb shell, but I cant access the phone (error: device not found). I can access in ODIN, but with ADB no.
Somebody had this problem or could help me to solve it, please!!!
Tks in advance!
Barros

Yes, the stock rom.
I'm sorry to say, but the Galaxy Ace Plus has died / end of life.
If new Android versions mean declining your phone, whats the use of a new version?
Losing one single feature to get plenty of new features along with android upgradation does not means dieing of ace plus....
Moreover flash still works with manual control..!!!!

Moreover flash still works with manual control
So:
- switch on LED (with flashlight app?)
- goto cam and take picture
- switch off LED (flashlight app?)
THANK YOU GUYS!

Still troubles. So what is the best rom i can get at this moment?
Speedmod...currently...!!
Restdepends on your requirements.!!
Sent from my GT-S7500 using XDA Free mobile app
i though speedmod was ok, it worked for a few days. Pictures are stored in memory, i cannot config camera app to store pictures on SD. OK, there is "pictures2sd" but this needs to be a setting.
Camera focus takes about 5 seconds, way too long.
Sometimes android stops and gives some kind of terminal error (black screen with white letters). I have to remove the battery.
If i do nothing it works great

- This is a Complete Rom Flash it with Odin (Disable Reactivation Lock First)
- This will update Boot,Recovery,Modem,Hidden,Sytem,Bootloader
- KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 1 Will Happen when flashing this
The aim of this mod is to update all packages and lighten the bloat in the rom without breaking anything
On previous Mods I9305/N7000 etc i pulled alot more out
but samsung are tieing more and more into other apps and its hard to pull
junk without breaking parts of settings / apps and such
e.g. if i remove Smart Manager you dont get Battery stats in settings anymore
So i have decided to leave alot more in and freeze as much as i can

Is kernel SELinux permissive? If so could you provide a link please?
I see you didnt read the post
Its a fully stock rom with bloat trimmed
including kernel
How else would it be marked as official on the bootloader
Awesome work. Appreciate all of your time that it took to do this. I personally anticipate using it a lot. Like as soon as my backup finishes....
Minor suggestion. Change title from Note 4 Mod to Stock Debloated.
You have the Model Number, Version, Region, Flash Type perfectly noted on title. But the Note 4 Mod says something was done to it. Which you did, by debloating it. All I'm saying is add that to the thread definition.
Again, great work. Seeing this has me motivated to maybe put out stock, slightly themed ROMs.
Worked Perfectly
ODIN flashed with no issues.
I did have a bootloop but I expected that with all the other ROMs I've flashed and had installed.
I just needed to reboot into stock recovery and wipe/factory reset. Than it booted up flawlessly.
There's a fix coming soon
In the csc process VODB is copied over (handwriting/keyboard) i missed two directory's in there
which was causing problems with action memo and the keyboard
Also two updated ant apk's
i have just finished building the image and flashed it
going to test for 30mins or so to make sure there's no other problems
then upload
Changes MOD2a - MOD2b
Added missing files in VODB folder that i missed from the CSC install process (action memo/handwriting/keyboard problems)

Sounds good. I'm in the US so this region is working out great for me.
Already rooted, TWRP installed, flashed SpaceX kernel. It's running fantastic. Really quick and snappy.
Deodexing now.
I have a full COJ5 that I can make a quick flash to fix. Getting same errors. Direct Pen Input on keyboard.
I'll play and see if there's anything else. My cable internet has a 250 GB limit on it so trying to keep downloads down. I got my Note 4 two weeks before end of the month billing and went over 75 GB downloading ROMs. But it was worth it !
if you want to fix it yourself
the files i missed that i added in mod2b
are

Thats pointless
deodex removes performance (the whole point of odex's is to improve performance)
and samsung zip align all apk's as do everyone else
the only time apk's arnt zip aligned is if it has been modified
which none have in this

I think I blew past that flashing the Space X kernel. It rooted fine and it's running great.
Created a CWM flashable zip with those files. Everything is working.
I am on 7.1 NDE63N, Android Security Patch = Oct. 5, 2016
On https://developers.google.com/android/images I don't see my build. I only see these:
7.1.0 (NDE63H, Oct 2016)
7.1.0 (NDE63L, Oct 2016)
7.1.0 (NDE63P, Oct 2016)
7.1.0 (Europe, NDE63U, Nov 2016)
7.1.0 (NDE63V, Nov 2016)
7.1.0 (Verizon, NDE63X, Nov 2016)
If these are named in alphabetical order, then my build NDE63N is between NDE63L and NDE63P.
My bootloader is unlocked using depixel8. Does anyone know what would happen if I tried to downgrade to either NDE63H or NDE63L? What I would like to do is see what would happen to the OEM unlocking option if I flashed an earlier verison of the firmware than the one the phone came with.
